Hope this works. words: #### | It had been a long week. Anyone could tell that just by looking at the expression on Matt's face. Granted, that was also somewhat normal whenever he was home from school as his dad was usually gone. Well worst case was he was more than ready to live on his own outside of the financial side of it. He just had to grin and bear whatever difficulties came with that after he graduated. Shaking his head, he checked outside his window before dressing for the weather in a black hoodie over a red t-shirt, blue jeans, and grey and black sneakers. He also put on a grey beanie before heading out, grabbing his wand and wallet before walking into Hogsmeade proper.
After about half an hour of walking around, he ultimately settled on going to the Three Broomsticks, figuring a butterbeer or two would be more than enough to help him relax some. Then again he always preferred the atmosphere of the Three Broomsticks over the Hogs Head Inn. Probably because of how old Hogs Head felt compared to the Three Broomsticks. Shaking his head with a chuckle, he walked into the Three Broomsticks. Ordering a butterbeer, he sat down at a table and sighed. Winter Break could not end soon enough, and while he was close enough to Hogwarts to walk to it right now, he really didn't think going to the castle right now was a smart idea anyways. He needed to relax and let his mind drift away from his stress. Taking a drink of his butterbeer, he sighed again before hearing someone speak up. multiply life by the power of two |

Coming home from Hogwarts was one thing Bryelle hated to do each year. Being a part of the Gryffindor household was tough on the Goyle girl especially because her family contained a long line of Slytherins. She remembered the disappointment on her mother’s and father’s face when they heard of Renard’s housing, but she remembered the smile he provided to her as he watched her own housing. It took Bryelle quite a while to accept her Gryffindor housing, but she realised she loved it more — knowing she was different from her parents, just like her brother. Spending the first few days with her family and even Christmas alongside them, she had convinced the fools to allow the brunette to stay with Renard for the rest of the holiday. But knowing he had his own things to do, she promised she wouldn’t exactly bother him.
So, Hogsmeade was her next choice. Dressing appropriately for the cold weather, Bryelle made sure she wore her dark red hat and matching gloves along with her dark clothing. Her first place to spend for the day was the Three Broomsticks, to drink a few butterbeers, some hot drinks and even some snacks before she would head out to dive into some activities. As she entered, the seats were filled almost everywhere, friends with friends, family with family and the Goyle knew it would be hard to find a seat for herself somewhere. She sighed, heading to the bar to order a drink for herself regardless, waving to the bartender as she said she would eventually found a seat. Looking around, she saw a few familiar faces but didn’t exactly want to crash alongside them without a true purpose. But one face caught her attention and he was luckily sitting alone.
Walking over, Bryelle stood before his table. ”You’re…In Gryffindor aren’t you?” She asked, a small smile upon her lips. ”From one Gryffindor to another, would you allow lonely little me to sit with you?”
@johanson & sorry for the wait!

notes here. words: #### | Matt had to fight back a laugh at how she had asked to sit down. It was in a way direct and also had a certain charm to it that Matt found amusing. Allowing a chuckle, he nodded. "Hell of a way to introduce yourself, but yeah to both questions," he said with another chuckle. It was the kind of distraction he welcomed right now though as he sought to get free from the boredom and stress that school was bringing him in general. Of course, dealing with his father constantly being on the go was troubling as well, but his father always dealt with stress in a weird way, and that was just something Matt was going to have to deal with. It was something that would normally cause a fight if Matt was stubborn enough about it, but he couldn't really force his father to cope with things any differently than he already did, could he?
"Matt Johanson, 7th year," he then said to actually introduce himself. He was approaching 18, which still surprised him how fast the years had gone. Even still, his last year at Hogwarts was proving to be a slow and stressful time. Of course, no-one ever said graduating from school was ever supposed to be an easy journey. He was honestly going to be surprised if anyone really had an easy time of things when going through all of the coursework and tests that were needed to pass even on the easiest of career plans. Then again, being an Auror was no simple task and Matt knew that ahead of time. Moping or stressing about it would only make things more difficult when he tried to succeed at not only his classes and tests, but when in the field as an Auror. multiply life by the power of two |

BEING DIRECT WAS the only way Bryelle felt comfortable. At times, she blamed Lily for it, the same…Directness caught Bryelle’s tongue in the worst of places. Sometimes, it even resulted in the brunette suffering away in detention. Though, the Potter’s involvement helped a young Bryelle in many ways, it opened up the Goyle’s eyes into a new world of confidence. ”Great!” She chirped in response, pulling out the seat and sliding inside of it. She hadn’t expected the Three Broomsticks to be so busy, but given the end of the recent school term, everyone was everywhere. At his introduction, Bryelle nodded — even considered to extend her hand before mentally waving off the thought.
”Bryelle Goyle. Sixth year.” She introduced, mimicking his way of doing so. With Sixth Year soon coming to an end, it meant that the Goyle was only one year closer to a life of freedom. With no rules to follow under her parents roof, nor relying on her older brother to be available whenever the term was over. It was nice of Renard, to allow the brunette to coop up in his home, at least for the second half to the winter break. Suffering only 5 days with her parents was enough to still drive the Goyle rather insane. ”So. Seventh Year Matt. What’s your best class?” She felt the question was the best way to keep the chirpiness between them going, as well as a chance for Bryelle to know more about the Gryffindor, especially if she were to see him again.
”I guess you’re best at Charms. Maybe Potions. Wait-wait!” Bryelle paused, her index finger lifting to point in his direction. ”Maybe, you’re great at those non-verbal spells.” The drink she had ordered earlier had finally arrived and the Goyle smiled up at the waiter, thanking them quietly. Her right hand curled around the handle of the cup, the first tasting of the sweet butter-beer sliding down her throat.
