Ah, Friday Night. Odette loved the weekends, specifically Fridays. Fridays marked the first night of the week that it was acceptable to go out and have a drink without having to worry about getting up for work the next day. Working with goblins throughout the work week was more stressful than one would think. Odette was a young employee, having just entered the curse breaking business, so many goblins were suspicious of her. Then again, who weren't goblins suspicious of? Odette regularly looked forward to her nights spent at the Hog's Head.
Odette didn't have a drinking problem. She didn't need alcohol to be happy or stress free. She just found alcohol, specifically fire whiskey, to be a good time and after such a long work week she needed that. With a hint of a smirk on her face, Odette entered the Hog's Head in Hogsmeade. She was a regular and she knew most of the other regulars by name as they did she as well. Normally Odette wasn't very outgoing, in fact she was pretty introverted ever since her mother died when she was fourteen. But there was something about the inhabitants at the Hog's Head (with the accompaniment of alcohol, of course,) that brought out a happier and more care free side of her. She waved at a large, burly wizard as he called out her name and waved at her from across the bar. She had gotten to know many of the others and things about them as well, some she actually considered friends. Others who did not frequent the pub as much as she were outsiders to her and she treated them as so.
Odette made her way to the bar and took a seat. It was not yet the busy hours, as it was still fairly early in the night. There was currently only one other person at the bar, but that would change the later it got. She didn't recognize the back of that person's head right away so she made a point to sit two seats down from them, not wanting to speak to anyone she didn't know or that didn't know her. The regulars that knew Odette knew not to really speak to her until she had a few drinks, with the exception of the burly wizard of course, whom Odette found to be enjoyable to talk to even one hundred percent sober. He was allowed to speak to her any time.
The bartender knew by now not to ask Odette what she wanted. He knew she wanted only fire whiskey so the moment she sat down it was only seconds until she had one in front of her. Odette didn't make it a point to tell people that they couldn't speak to her, it was just that Odette preferred her own company rather than the company of others. She was a lot easier to speak to and she found it easier to speak to others after at least three drinks, when she had a bit of a buzz going. Fridays were the only night Odette allowed herself to drink. She didn't want to make it a habit and reserved her other weekend nights for relaxing at home, perhaps reading a book or playing around with her owl, Pharaoh, whom was one of her best friends. So, Fridays were really the only day she allowed herself to even slightly mingle with others. After a bit of alone drinking first, that is.

Normally the weekends were days that he looked forward to, especially not having to teach, granted he had to grade homework and such. But tonight he didn't have to do any patrolling which seemed odd to him, but he took the extra spare time when he could get it. He had walked down to Hogsmeade for a drink or two but he had no intention of drinking more than that, as it would dull his senses. He had to be alert as he always was, because of all the things that have been happening. Before long he had arrived at his final destination, having become a regular here at the Hog's Head. Granted it was usually on Saturdays and not Fridays so he would only see a few faces that were familiar to him. Walton also had a knack for spotting anyone suspicious, due to the fact that he was an International Auror. But if he saw anyone like that or acting in a strange manner he could very well just us legilimency to tell if they were a threat or not.
Walton entered the pub looking around, to find it almost empty. He nodded at the burly wizard who was at the bar, in his usual spot like always. He also noticed two others at the bar some random bloke, who posed no threat to him or anyone for that matter. Walton didn't even have to see the mans face to know it was just a simple man who never bothered anyone. But what really caught his eye was the young woman at the bar he had seen her before, but he wasn't sure where though. He walked past the bar over to a table in the corner of the room with only two chairs, which is where he usually sat so he could see everyone that came in. It might seem that he was a little paranoid, but he wasn't, he was just taking precautions. He signaled to the bartender to bring him a firewhiskey. Once he had gotten it he drank some of the liquid. As the liquid went down he could feel warmth seep throughout his body.
He sat there for a while, just watching people come and go as they pleased like usual. However every time that he scanned the room for any new face his eyes always rest on the young women at the bar. He was curious as to what her name was and what she was doing in a place like the Hog's Head. He had seen her before he just knew it but still he couldn't put a name to the face. As he watched her he finally was able to remember where he had seen her. He had taught her at Hogwarts his first year teaching there. It had been a while but then he also remembered her name, it was Odette or something like that but he wasn't to sure. Deciding that he wanted to get to know her some more and what she was doing now, he grabbed a napkin and he wrote a quick note on it, hoping that her curiosity would lead her to accept the invitation. The note said "Now what is a person like yourself doing in a place like this?" He then folded the napkin into an owl and with a tap of his wand sent it on its way over to Odette. As he waited he picked up his glass and drank some more.

Odette gingerly took a sip of her drink. At first, she was always womanly while she drank. As the night went on and the more drinks she got in her system, she would become a lot more sloppy with her drinking. By then, it was usually always eleven or later and the pub was a lot more crowded. Odette had actually been in a few drinking contests with some of the patrons herself. She had only out drank a select few, usually smaller men who couldn't handle their alcohol well. Until then, Odette was just a lady at a bar, sipping her drinks quietly and hoping she wouldn't be bothered until she wanted to be.
Tonight was different though, as suddenly a little paper owl found its way over to Odette. She stared at it, quite pathetically. She raised an eyebrow, as if this was way beneath her. However, curiosity was itching at her so she set her glass down and slowly unfolded the napkin. She pursed her lips as she read the note, "Now what is a person like yourself doing in a place like this?" Odette stifled a sarcastic laugh as she picked up her glass for another drink. Someone was obviously over confident. Normally, Odette would ignore such advances from people until she had had a bit to drink. However she had never received a note in a pub so this got her attention.
She sipped up the last of her first drink, and as the bartender picked up her glass to get her another one, Odette turned around in her bar stool to survey the pub. Everyone in there she recognized from her regular Friday nights spent in the Hog's Head. Except for one.
Upon scanning the pub, she thought she had seen the handsome wizard in the corner make eye contact with her for a brief moment as he sipped his own fire whiskey. This particular wizard she had never seen in the pub before, but she was sure she knew him. And by the looks of it, he seemed to be waiting for something or rather guilty of something so Odette pegged him as the poor bloke who sent the flying owl napkin over to her. Odette smiled to herself as she grabbed her glass and stood up. She made her way over to the wizard. Onlookers were probably shocked that Odette paid this man any attention at all, as she usually ignored people until she was fairly inebriated. However something about him caught her eye and the fact that he had the gumption to send her a little flying note humored her.
Odette set her glass down on the table before taking a seat across from him as well. "What's a poor bloke like your-" she stopped mid-sentence. Up close, the wizard was definitely recognizable. Odette's eyes widened slightly as it registered in her brain who he was. She sat up straight in her chair, taken slightly aback. "P-Professor... Grey?" She said slowly. The infliction in her tone made it obvious she couldn't believe it was him. Had he not realized it was her? It had been nearly four years since she had been in his class, but he had still taught her! She didn't change the expression on her face or let it show, but she had always thought Professor Grey to be quite the handsome man.

Walton sat there watching the door while drinking his firewhiskey. He was waiting to see what Odette would do. He smirked a little as he watched her stifle a laugh. He noticed her turn around and survey the room. He made eye contact just for the briefest moment but he knew that was all it would take. Walton watched her get up and come over to the table he was at with a slight smile on his face. Once the chair across from him was occupied he turned to look at her. She had grown up. He let her initial remark go but not the question which he noticed, she kind of stuttered it out. "P-Professor... Grey?" Walton was glad that she remembered him.
"Ah Miss Daley, or should I say Miss Greyback?" He knew it would throw her off that he knew that she had changed her last name. But then again he knew many things that he shouldn't. Ah, the perks of being an International Auror. Being a teacher was something he enjoyed immensely, but by far he enjoyed being an Auror more. Holding up a hand as if to forestall any comment, "There is no need for you to call me Professor since I am no longer your teacher. You can call me Walton. But if it makes you feel better you can still call me Professor." He didn't really like being called professor outside of Hogwarts, it just didn't feel right unless he was at school. "So tell me what is a person like yourself doing here in the Hogs Head of all places?" He knew the answer he would get, but he thought that it might help to ease the small amount of tension that had seemed to appear in between them.
Walton then finished his drink and ordered another one. As he waited for his drink to appear, he glanced around the room which had begun to fill up with more people. There were many that he recognized from when he came down here on Saturday nights. He even nodded his head toward them acknowledging their greetings. He accepted his drink once it arrived and he placed it on the table. He then turned his attention back to Odette, whom he noticed had turned into a beautiful young woman. Walton also noticed that she was still in shock from seeing one of her former professors in the Hogs Head. But hey where else were they supposed to go if they wanted an atmosphere where they wouldn't be bothered by to many people. Deciding to break the silence as well as the tension, he smiled and asked "Were you able to get your dream job, of being a curse breaker?" He remembered it was the one thing that she always talked about and he had been more than happy to answer any questions she had about anything, that he taught, or even other things that the other Professors had taught. She was an interesting person, and not sure why but he wanted to get to know her more.
Sometimes he really disliked certain aspects of his job, like knowing almost everything about someone before he ever met them. It just took all of the fun out of getting to know people. He already knew that she was a curse breaker, he even knew her past and who her father was. But that didn't stop him from asking the question. He took a drink of firewhiskey as he waited for a response from her.

"Ah Miss Daley, or should I say Miss Greyback?" And there he went, cementing what Odette already knew. This man was indeed her old Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. He had only come to Hogwarts her final year, and had been a great teacher for the short time that she did have him. He was always there with answers for anyone that had questions. It took a moment, but she finally realized that he had called her by her changed name. Odette had legally changed her name shortly after she turned eightteen, quite a bit after she had left Hogwarts.
Odette didn't let the surprise register on her face this time. She hid it well as she spoke, "You know about my new last name?" She smirked. At least the word was getting around, and hopefully to Greyback himself. " You can call me Walton," he said. "Oh, Odette interjected, "I'll be calling you Walton. Not a fan of the "professor" title myself. We're both adults, after all," she continued, matter of factly.
"So tell me what is a person like yourself doing here in the Hogs Head of all places?" Odette took a sip of her freshly poured drink as he spoke. "I happen to be a Friday night regular," she said, her nose slightly up in the air. Odette was very straight forward, matter of fact, or at least she was when she spoke. Even drunk, she was quite the same.
Odette had seen several of her old professors at the pub before, but none had made an effort to speak to her. Rather they recognized her or not was not known, but regardless she had not made the effort to speak to them either. She was a little intrigued that Walton had. Walton then surprised her once more. "Were you able to get your dream job, of being a curse breaker?" He asked. Odette smirked once more. "You remembered?" She asked over her glass, taking another sip. "You are an intelligent man," she commented, pointing at him with her glass.
For a brief moment, Odette could have sworn she saw him looking her up and down, but she just smirked to herself and let it go. For the time being.

Walton smirked just a little bit as he watched a flash of surprise in Odette's eyes, before she quickly hid it when she spoke. "You know about my new last name?" Of course he remembered her last name, it was difficult for him to forget the names of the people that he taught. He liked to see where they ended up in life after Hogwarts. "Yes I know about your last name." Walton had an idea as to why she had changed her last name but he didn't think now was the time to find out if his hunch was right. She might tell him on her own, but he couldn't be sure.
He smiled when she told him that she wasn't a fan of the professor title. "Well neither am I. It only sounds right when I am up at the school." Ah, the straight forwardness from Odette brought back many memories for him from the year that he had taught her. It mad things a lot easier to answer her questions, unlike most students who would beat around the bush when trying to ask a question instead of being straight forward. "Well that makes sense, since I usually come in here on Saturdays. This is the first time that I have seen you here." It really was the first time that he had seen her in here. But oh well that doesn't matter really. He had run into several of his former students, but most of them never really had the time to talk.
He drank some more firewhiskey as he listened to Odette answer the question that he had asked her. He could see the surprise in her eyes as he asked the question if she had gotten her dream job. He grinned as his question was answered with a question and a compliment. Well he wasn't expecting the compliment, he smiled be for answering her question. "How could I forget. You always talked about it, and asked questions about it in class." He smiled a little and he had not forgotten that she hadn't answered his question if she had gotten the job or not, and he was trying to get her to open up a bit more. She had always been one of his favorite students because of how well she learned everything that he taught. He noticed the smirk on her face when he had looked at her.
But not letting it go and being a little persistent, he asked again "Do not think that I have forgotten. You still haven't answered my question. So did you get your dream job, and if so do you enjoy it?" He changed the question just a little bit. Walton looked up when he heard loud voices, before a scuffle broke out between a few of the patrons in the pub. He chuckled as he watched the scuffle, knowing full well who the two men were. They did this all of the time, about one thing or another that they had been talking about. It was quickly broken up by the bartender and the burly wizard whom he had greeted on his way in to the pub. Some things never changed and this was one of them. But he was still curious to see what she would say, so he turned his attention back to Odette.

Odette chuckled to herself. "Then you should why I changed it, hm?" She asked. Odette wanted to test him. Mainly for her own reasons. She wanted to be sure that word was getting around about her name change. When people saw her name, most were taken aback others recoiled away from her in fear. Whenever she was asked why she did, she was always honest. She wanted to make it easier for Fenrir to find her. One day, she wanted to kill him.
Odette offered up a small smile at his not liking the "professor" title either. Just because she was with an old teacher she hadn't seen in years didn't mean that was going to slow down her drinking. She assumed he wouldn't bother commenting on it. Most didn't, after all. "This is the first time that I have seen you here." Odette smirked from behind her glass again, "And I, you," she said before taking another sip.
"That is true," Odette was impressed by his memory. The man had to have had more than a hundred other students by now, yet he was still able to remember exactly what her dream job was and the fascination that she had had with it. "I remember your answers well," she sipped her drink again.
Odette was about to answer his question this time when a little argument broke out between two patrons. This was the usual, so Odette was hardly fazed as she took another long sip of her fire whiskey. "I did, indeed, get my dream job," she grinned. "And I do enjoy it," she said, twirling the now empty glass in her hand. "Traveling is a perk, but," she let out a heavy sigh. "Work is work," she then gestured around the pub. "That's why I come here every Friday. For a break," she shrugged, then held up her glass to signal to the bartender that she would like another.

There it was out in the Walton thought, such a simple question but at the same time he could tell that she was testing him in some way or another. "Then you should why I changed it, hm?" He thought it best to be honest to help him gain the trust of Odette. "Yes I know why you changed it." Walton paused for a moment and picked up his finished the rest of his firewhiskey and signaled the bartender for another one, before continuing to answer the question. "It really is simple, you changed it because you are hoping that Fenir Greyback finds you, since his whereabouts are currently unknown you can't find him. But when he finds you, you plan on killing him and I can say that I don't blame you. Especially after what he did." Oh Walton knew about the whole thing. He had been there to try to find any trace of Greyback to give to his superiors, but he had not been able to find anything. But right now it was fresh in his memory. He was quiet for a bit as he thought about the carnage that monster had done, he had seen it time after time. However he didn't want to let Odette know that he had been there after the fact. At the same time if she had to fight Greyback he didn't want her to do it alone, and so he said. "If he finds you make sure you send a patronus to someone."
"Well congratulations on getting the job." Walton smiled, but what he heard next kind of bothered him. It sounded like she enjoyed it but at the same time he knew there was something bothering her but he decided to let it go for now. "Traveling is a perk, but,"..."Work is work,"
He looked over at Odette as she ordered another drink, which made him smile. It seemed to him that Odette liked to drink, and even though he was going to stop after his third one, he some how knew that she would continue. And so he pulled out a small vial from his cloak, and set it on the table in front of Odette, before he said. "Take this before you drink more. It is a simple potion to make sure you can keep your head on straight no matter how much you drink, and you won't have a hangover in the morning." He wasn't to sure what else to say or ask. So he thanked the bartender as their drinks were brought to them. He took a glass and he drank from it, albeit slowly so he could savor his final drink.
Walton looked across the table at Odette, as thought about what she had been through, when she was younger. One of his superiors was obsessed with Greyback. Walton had found that out first hand that night when Odette's mother was killed. There was nothing to be done really except check the scene and wait for the British Aurors to arrive. He shook his head slightly to rid his mind of the memories of what he had seen that night. He just hoped beyond hope that Odette would come out of the encounter with Greyback alive. Well that is if he ever came to find her.

Odette truly was impressed. He did seem to know quite a bit. "Impressive," she nodded approvingly at him as the bartender brought two more drinks over to the both of them. Odette slowly moved the glass in circles, looking down at it with a sort of smirk. She was happy the word was actually out. If this man knew, several others had to have known as well and that meant it was only a matter of time before Fenrir knew himself. "If he finds you make sure you send a patronus to someone." At this, Odette's smirked widened and she looked up at him with her smoky eyes. "Oh, Walton," she said, picking up her glass. "I'll be able to handle that sad old scumbag," she said, taking yet another long sip of the fire whiskey.
Odette nodded at him once again, appreciatively. "Thank you," she said simply.
As Walton pulled the vial out from his cloak, Odette watch him with an eyebrow raised. When he spoke, she let out a small chuckle and held her glass up near her mouth. "That's alright, Walton," why she kept saying his name with that type of infliction was unknown to her. The fire whiskey must be settling in. "That's why I come here after all, to let my head get a bit screwy," she flashed him a sort of wicked grin.
After a moment of silence, and Odette watching Walton, she took a shot in the dark. "What's on your mind, Professor?" She smirked at the use of the title they had both just decided they would dismiss. She couldn't help it, though. The alcohol was starting to take effect.

"Your welcome." Walton said when Odette thanked him for congratulating her on becoming a curse breaker.
He could only grin slightly when he heard "That's alright, Walton,"...."That's why I come here after all, to let my head get a bit screwy,". Walton just left the vial there on the table. It would come in handy. Now what peaked his interest a little bit was the way that she kept saying his name. It wouldn't have peaked his curiosity if she had said his name normally, but there was the inflection with which she said it that made him curious. He let it slide for the moment, because it might be the alcohol taking effect, but at the same time he wondered if it was something else. "Well it is there if you need it." Walton said as he waved his hand towards the vial.
"What's on your mind, Professor?" Walton chuckled a little as she reverted back to calling him Professor, but two could play that game and he didn't really want to say what was on his mind. And he was pretty sure that she wouldn't want to know since memories were still bombarding his mind of that fateful night. "Well Miss Greyback," Walton smirked as he began to answer her question. "wouldn't you like to know?" He answered her question with one of his own, but he barely let slip in a whisper "Trust me you really don't want to know." He grabbed his glass and drank some more, he really wished that the memories would stop bombarding him. But oh well he just had to deal with it and he wasn't about to tell Odette that he had been there.
However despite all of the death and destruction that he had witnessed, he enjoyed his job. Especially being able to help people. It really made him happy. He glanced down at his glass and noticed that it was almost empty. Walton let out a sigh, sometimes thing were to good to last, for an example his drink. He glanced up at Odette and saw that she was still watching him. It almost seemed like she was trying to figure him out. He could easily figure her out all he had to do was take a look into her mind by using a skill he had learned long ago, legilimency. But he liked a challenge and decided against using said skill. He wanted to figure out exactly what she was like. He had only know her as a student before, and not as an individual. But then yet again how was it that he could remember what her dream job was. Walton wasn't sure so he remained silent for a couple of minutes before he looked at her and asked. "So besides coming here to let your head get a bit screwy as you put it, which you could do at any other pub as well. What made you decide to come here? Is it the people, or the atmosphere, or because every now and then something interesting happens?"

Odette glanced from Walton to the vial he sat down on the table. She let the right side of her mouth curve up slightly in a smirk. "Thank you," she said, nodding at him. She could tell he only had her best interest in mind by offering this potion, and she trusted her old professor enough to know it wasn't some dirty trick.
Walton seemed to have caught on with Odette's games. He was responding with his own question now, and Odette was once again impressed by the intelligent professor. "You sure are sly," she let out in a whisper of her own. She took another sip of her whiskey and looked up at him from over the glass. Perhaps, if he were like the other men she usually encountered, just a few batting of the eyelashes would get it out of him. She found Walton a little more difficult to read than the others, but enjoyed his attitude nonetheless.
"What made you decide to come here? Is it the people, or the atmosphere, or because every now and then something interesting happens?" Odette twirled her glass in her hand again, thinking for a moment. "A little bit of all three," she finally decided. "I do like the people... for the most part," she nodded. "The atmosphere is quite enjoyable," she nodded over to the mounted hog head behind the main bar. "And it does get a little interesting every now and then, if you know what I mean," Odette gave the professor a wink before swigging back the last of her third drink.

"You sure are sly," He barely heard it over the noise in the room, but he did. Walton smiled slightly. He also could tell that Odette wanted to know. It was quite possible that she had overheard what he had said when he answered her question. But oh well if she was still anything like when she was a student he knew that she would keep asking questions. He sighed, before he raised his hand for a glass of water, knowing that the bartender would get him one because it was usual, for him to have one after drinking three glasses of firewhiskey.
When he had received his glass of water he drank some of it before setting it down on the table. He looked across the table towards Odette as she answered his question about why she came here. But it is what she said at the end of her answer that made him grin just a little bit. "And it does get a little interesting every now and then, if you know what I mean," Ha, he knew exactly what she meant when she winked at him. "Yeah I know what you mean." Walton grinned just a little bit. It was kind of nice to finally talk to someone other than his colleagues and students, not that he didn't enjoy their presence. But is was nice to just get away once in awhile.
"So tell me. What places have you visited around the world as a curse breaker?" He was determined to find out just where her job had taken her. He had worked with many curse breakers before, and found it interesting to hear of the places that they had been to. Most times he had also been to the same places. Granted he had been to almost all of the countries of the world. Which was another reason as to why he liked his job as an International Auror. As he thought about his travels, Walton couldn't help but remember the way that Odette had said earlier "Traveling is a perk, but,"..."Work is work," There was something how she had said it that made him curious. Maybe he could find out what it was, but he hoped that she would just tell him instead of him having to ask. But he would just have to wait and see what was going to happen.

Odette just simply smirked at Walton when he agreed that he understood what she meant. Odette wasn't feeling the slightest regret about coming over and talking to him. It was proving to be very interesting.
"So tell me. What places have you visited around the world as a curse breaker?" Ah, the famous work question. Luckily, Odette didn't mind talking about work, particularly her travels. Work as a curse breaker took her to several different parts of the world, searching for gold in ancient tombs to bring back to the wizarding bank, Gringotts. Odette smiled fondly. "Well, Eygpt is given, obviously," she said, as that was where most curse breakers were known to go. She was first stationed there herself, but after expressing the desire to travel further, she was permitted to go to much more exotic places.
"I've been to China several of times," Odette said, matter of factly. "All throughout Europe, of course," she nodded as she recalled the places she had traveled. "India, Israel, Mongolia... anywhere with ancient cities that could at one time or another hidden some precious gold," she laughed at the thought of the goblins, whom she worked for. She didn't much converse with them aside from work. They weren't exactly friendly. All business, really.
Odette took another sip of her drink. "What about you? Travel anywhere before you became a professor?" She asked.

"Goblins and their love for gold and other precious things." Shaking his head a little bit, Walton said as he listened to where Odette had traveled to. He had been to all of those places more than once. He wasn't really surprised when she asked "What about you? Travel anywhere before you became a professor?". Oh he had been to almost every country. He grinned thinking about all of the places he had traveled to. There were so many. "Yes I traveled before I became a professor. Granted it was for work. But it would be easier to list the places that I have not been to." Walton looked at Odette while he thought of which places he had not been to. Once he had the list in his mind he said "Well I haven't been to Antarctica, Ghana, Costa Rica, Chad, Uruguay, and last but not least the Dominican Republic."
His job as an international Auror had taken him every where. However he did have a favorite. Before he would tell Odette he wanted to know which place had been her favorite and why. "So which place have you visited is your favorite, and why is it your favorite place to visit?" Walton was curious to know more.
"Earlier you said something after sighing heavily to the extent of work is work. It sounds to like there is something about your job that is either bothering you or that you don't like. So if you don't mind me asking what is it that is bothering you?" It had been something she always did when she came to him for help, or if something was bothering her. He just hoped that she would remember what she had said earlier. He wanted to know what was bothering her. I mean working with and for goblins wasn't the greatest job in the world since they weren't very friendly creatures. He had also dealt with them. They were very cunning creatures and they had their ways of getting what they wanted. And if you made a deal with them you had to be careful as to the terms of the deal. Walton put his hands behind his head and relaxed a little bit by stretching out his legs under the table just a bit more, as he wondered what he would hear next.

Alice smirked at Walton's comment about the goblins. "Yes, they are quite the greedy little creatures," she said, gingerly sipping her drink. As Walton then listed off the places he had not been, Odette tilted her head to the side in interest. She raised her eyebrows and nodded as he spoke. "Well, I've got you on one - I have been to Uruguay, so ha!" She grinned from behind her glass once again.
"So which place have you visited is your favorite, and why is it your favorite place to visit?" Walton then asked her, finally stumping her. Odette had never given this question a great amount of thought. "Well," she said, thinking hard for a moment. "That is honestly quite a difficult question for me to answer," she admitted. Odette had loved every place she had ever been. It was hard for her to narrow it down to just one.
The fire whiskey was near full effect. Just a few more glasses and Odette would be out for the count. Typical Friday night. Aside from Walton Grey, that is. "So if you don't mind me asking what is it that is bothering you?" When he spoke, she looked back at him, blinking a lot. This was something she started to do when she was beginning to get drunk. "Oohh," she said, dragging it out. "Ya know, who wants to go to work all the time?" She waved her hand in front of her dismissively. "I mean, work is tiring if you aren't sitting back on the balcony of some hotel overlooking a mountain with a wine in your hand, ya know?" Odette's voice usually got quite obnoxious at this point. It was borderline preteen drunk. She was too inebriated at this point to really even think about what Walton would think of her.
