snow again tomorrow.
26TH DECEMBER 2024
MANAGING TO sneak out of her home for the millionth time in her life, Bryelle Goyle knew the place to be for the Winter Break was Hogsmeade. The early morn and afternoon of her day was spent by Nathaniel Forrester’s side, a Slytherin in the same year as herself who had challenged her perfect scores many times throughout the academic year. He was skilled in Potions and supposedly Charms but their day together had some kind of nice friendly feeling to it. Even if she used it to her advantage to figure out the kind of person he was. Filled with many Butterbeers later, the early evening slowly came around. The sky above her shifted into a lightly coloured pink, the oranges hues of the sun disappearing in between the clouds. Twilight was her favourite time of day, aside from the complete darkness London provided to her as well.
It seemed like the perfect time to scour some late gifts for the unintelligent beings in her household she referred to as her parents, as well as an overdue gift for Renard who allowed her to stay within his apartment for the rest of the Winter Break. Well, starting from tonight that was. Bryelle wandered close to Knick Knacks and Nut Cracks but couldn’t deem it the ultimate best in relation to what she was looking for. She puffed out a sigh as her fingers trailed along the small stalls around, trying to figure out what would Renard actually like? He was grumpy, intelligent but couldn’t help but fall to his cravings for cigarettes. The two of them were different in comparison to when they were kids, they simply enjoyed mocking their parents and their attempts in parenting. What could you exactly buy for an old but young man?
As her mind wandered off, Bryelle almost didn’t notice the person she bumped into, eyes widening as she did so. ”I’m so sorry.” She apologised, facing the girl with her hand stretched, wanting to see if she was okay. Her face was familiar, as if the Goyle knew her but she couldn’t exactly put her finger on it.
@helena & hopefully this works!
