Vik shrugged, smirking when she asked if she was loud. "I mean, you did slam the door when you came in ..." he trailed off, teasing her. She had to know that he'd heard her enter, didn't she? He smiled when she said that work was good, not fighting when he pushed back and turned to face him, smiling at her words. He chuckled, "Is that how we measure our days at work now? I didn't either." He did steal from quite a few wealthy people ... whatever, they wouldn't notice it for a while he was sure.
