Honey had never considered herself as someone who was exceptionally good at receiving compliments. She didn’t view herself as having very many talents; she didn’t think that she was very good at anything, really, except for the kinds of things that most people didn’t value all that much. That didn’t bode too well for her, most of the time, although she was usually content in her mediocrity. She knew from the time that she had fallen ill as a child that she would never grow up to be an Auror or anything prestigious. She did love St. Mungo’s, though, and she appreciated when people recognized that she put work into owning the tearoom and making sure that the food and drinks it served were excellent. Maybe they weren’t the best from a posh, upper-class sort of perspective or the kinds of things that she could get away with charging Galleons upon Galleons for, but they were good. When Odette complimented her ability to pick out teas, Honey gave her a smile of appreciation. “You always seem to have the perfect tea for each moment,” Odette told her. “You don’t think it’s too much?” Honey checked. Sometimes, she did wonder about cutting back on her selection. “Personally, I like a variety, but…”

Odette enjoyed her time in the tearoom as much as she enjoyed working in the maternity ward. If she could, she would come to work even on her off days to have tea at the shop. While nothing was stopping her - sometimes she just enjoyed staying home with take-out when she didn't have to be here. She shook her head as Honey questioned it being too much, "Oh no-never. If anything...you don't have enough varieties." she giggled, though she was sure that Honey had the perfect amount.

“Oh no—never,” Odette countered her hesitation about whether she had gone overboard with all of the different teas that she had on offer in the tearoom. “If anything…” Odette elaborated, and Honey waited to know what it was that the Healer was preparing to say. Fortunately, it was nothing bad, and Odette let out a laugh that could only be described as a giggle. “…You don't have enough varieties.” Having expected some sort of criticism rather than a joke, Honey laughed in relief. “I’m not actually trying to compete with Madam Puddifoot’s,” she smiled at Odette. The truth was that she just had a deep love for what she did. Maybe it was a bit silly of her, and maybe some people didn’t think that it was a worthwhile endeavor. Maybe some people thought that she was absolutely mad to enjoy running a tearoom at a hospital, but Honey did, and she appreciated that she had customers such as Odette who appreciated the effort that she put in. “Have you got any suggestions?” Honey asked. If Odette had any certain types or flavors of tea in mind, she would do her best to deliver on those.

'I'm not actually trying to compete with Madam Puddifoot's.' The blonde laughed lightly, "Oh, I know. If I'm honest," she breathed, looking around before leaning forward, "Your treats are way better than Madam Puddifoot's." She finished her sentence with a wink towards the girl, the finishing words coming out in a whisper as if it were a secret. No one dares to talk badly of Madam Puddifoot's, especially her. She had only been a few times, usually during the festivals when she was younger. If she had gone to Hogwarts, she likely would have spent her time there.
'Have you got any suggestions?' Odette found herself frowning, tapping at her chin. "Something with honeydew or dragonfruit might be interesting. Or like a mint mango? I'd try that...fruity and refreshing," she said with a smile. It was then that she heard her name called throughout the halls, and she sighed, "Guess that is my cue. Have a lovely day, Honey," she said with a smile as she gathered her tea and treats, leaving behind the tearoom in a fury of white.
