"You sing? I must hear it sometime" Cassandra brightened up. She loved it when people shared her love for the arts. One of her closest friends from school was a famous musician now. It had to come from her own passion, she always seemed to find people who loved the arts as much as she did. Taking the boys arm she laughed when he talked about the fast and upbeat movements. "Those dances always seemed so energized, but now I know the secret." She laughed again. The intense movements were quite fast, it did make sense. She also knew, that people were less likely to spot small mistakes when one was in a group. Wow, she loved to talk theater!
At the food cart, he, at first, didn't want her to pay for his food, but agreed and ordered. Smiling at the cat comment "Thank you." She turned to the man who was preparing Gabriel's food, and smiled. "One for me as well." She moved closer to pay for the meals, then she was handed the two meals. She handed one to her friend and started to move away from the cart. As they moved away, she smiled and taking his arm and moving her face close "If you feel bad, perhaps you can pay me back."

Gabriel grinned even wider. "You got it! Name the song," he suggested with a chuckle. He looooved showing off his talent. He was good at it, why not share with as many people as possible? He chuckled when she said that now she new the secret to fast dancing and he nodded, half serious, grin still on his lips. "But the people who do the steps right it's like... woah," he made a motion with his hand to symbolize his head exploding, a reference to his mind being blown. "There are some incredible dancers out there and in history. Like Ginger Rogers, of course," he commented. "American actress, soooo good," he mused wistfully.
She ordered her food and then, once they had their food, she took his arm and suggested he pay her back. She smirked a little, his chest feeling a little tight at being so close to her then. "I think I could manage that. Next time, my treat," he promised.

"You got it! Name the song," the boy said and Cassandra couldn't help but give a firty laugh. "Perhaps later." She was divided with wanting to tell him one of her favorite French songs, and giving the poor boy a break and picking a song from the theater. This boy was great! they got along so well, and their shared love for the theater helped things click so well. "I hate to break it to you, but that is what most people expect when they watch dances." He then mentioned a actresses name that she thought she had recognized. "I think I have heard of her. And I"m sure that you are an excellent dancer."
After getting their food, Cassandra took his arm and he said that the next time would be his treat. That wasn't exactly what she was going for, but perhaps it was too early for that. The location didn't help, in a different place, like a club, that was all it took, but she would be good. By him saying "Next time" meant that there would in fact be a next time. "It is a deal." She said as she pulled a little away form him, but still holding his arms. " How about we eat on the steps" There were a number of groups eating on the steps, it was a common place for the cast and crew to sit while they were taking a break from preparing for their next show.

She said she'd pick a song later and he nodded, his confident smile playing at his lips again. When it came to singing Gabriel didn't have much self doubt. She said that people expected to see the right moves when they watched dances and he laughed. "Awe, man! I guess I can't keep faking it at auditions. Wait, that's why I don't get any parts..." he joked. He really wasn't that bad of a dancer, he loved it, and he sold his moves with his face and his passion for the movement. It always worked for him, and he did the best that he could. "I try," he shrugged, "maybe you'll have to give me some tips," he suggested.
The deal was set for him to pay the next time they ate together, and she suggested moving to the steps to eat. He nodded, looking a little confused for a moment but following anyway. "I guess that works, seems like a popular spot." Once they were settled in and eating, he spoke up again, "so do you have a lot of friends here?"
