"And when the sea rises, ready to crash into land, Do you know where you stand? Do you know if you'll bend? Weather the storm and make a break for the sea If you long to be free Have to choose where you'll be.
When the mermaids start to call for your soul It's up to you to live up to your goal!" Gus finish his recording with a flourish of a bow to his producer before coming out of the recording booth. "Did you like it?" He asked cheerfully. His producer affirmed and before long Gus was listening back to the track to figure if he himself liked it. He was quite the perfectionist and well, nothing was ever easy with him. If he wouldn't have wanted to show it off to his mother, it wasn't fit for public consumption. He hadn't released a lot of albums but that had more to do with how picky he himself was than him not managing to make enough material. He'd easily made enough for seven albums but only two had been released so far. The few singles he'd managed to get out kept the crowds happy enough though and the progress on his third was enough to keep his producer happy. He did complain every single time that Gus refused to agree to adding a song to his albums though. He mostly considered the amount of money they could have made it everything recorded had been released. Gus usually joked in return that they could always publish the rest for profit after his death if they wouldn't mind him writing in agony in his grave. Those jokes rarely got the sort of amusement Gus saw in them but he figured that was probably his own fault for having lived too close to the edge. He'd gotten well burned by the fires in his past and people worried he wouldn't make it out of the burning house in time if he ever got stranded in it again. Gus merely chuckled as he left the producer to ponder the possibilities for this song making the cut. He lit a cigarette as soon as he was clear to the lobby. Nobody liked him smoking and he was mostly waiting to be told to put it out. He didn't always oblige, mostly because it amused him. It was only other artists in the craft that he usually listened to when it came to his bad habbits. Not in terms of quitting them, just in terms of limited them in their presence. He looked around the lobby as he released some of the smoke. There was another man there. Gus instantly found his bad boy grin that had helped him on his rise to fame spring to his face. He walked up to the other man, sprawling across the couch in full relaxation as he eyed the other man up and down in a not at all subtle manner. "Shouldn't a guy like you be adorning the cover on some fancy magazine?" He said before taking a drag of his cigarette. "Or are you trying to make it on talent? Because your face is easily good looking enough not to worry about the rest." He grinned then and held out his hand. "Auguste. I presume you're here to make music? Or are you picking up your girlfriend?" He smiled then and waggled his eyebrows suggestively. He then leaned back, picking an apple up from the fruit bowl on the table and tossing it up and down. Gus wasn't easy, that much was certain. It didn't mean he wasn't the type to help out if he could. People just had to resist the first few pokes that Gus used to asses their characters.... @brandon ((PS: The music is like rock/metal-ish. No cute pop. Doesn't suit her persona xD ))

February 2025 Brandon sat in the lobby, waiting for it to be his turn for them to call him back to the studio. He was early, as per usual. He couldn't help it. He always sat in the lobby, writing down ideas for new songs or just planning them out in his head. Right now he wasn't doing either of those things, actually. He was thinking about his album. His first album was almost done. They planned to release it to the public at the end of the month and Brandon could hardly contain his excitement. He wanted to be a musician ever since he was a little kid and touched his first piano. Now it felt like he was actually getting there. He looked around the room as his thoughts flew, surprised when someone started to approach him and all but collapsed onto the couch beside him. Was he tired or something? Brandon smiled to himself, figuring the guy wouldn't say a thing. Most people in the lobby here kept to themselves. At first when Brandon started coming here it took a lot of getting used to. Now he let people approach him if they wanted to talk. Apparently this guy did. The guy started teasing him about how his face should be on a magazine cover and Brandon chuckled, shaking his head. "Aw, no thanks. I'd rather it on the cover of an album, if I have a choice," he answered easily. Brandon couldn't care less about magazines. He just wanted to get his music out there. He laughed as the guy continued to joke around, shrugging along. Brandon wasn't really one to get defensive or annoyed when someone teased him. He had enough of that growing up that he just went along with it. "Trying to make it on talent, my friend, though if my face helps me make it I'm not going to complain about that." The guy held out his hand and Brandon took it, "Brandon. Yeah, I'm working on my first album. I think we're about ready to release it. What about you?" He didn't mean to ignore the question about his girlfriend, but since he actually was here for his music, he spoke about that instead. Brandon was always down to make new friends though, and this guy seemed friendly enough. @auguste

The other man was kind, polite and completely seemed to ignore any and all advances that Gus was making. He ignored his bad habits and didn't take the bait when Gus attempted to get anything remotely interesting going on. This man was sort of immune to his charms? Not that Gus was so arrogant that he figured all would fall for his charms or anything, he just wasn't quite used to such extremely political answers. Not that there was anything wrong with that by default, it was just a tiny bit... boring. Yup, that was the word that Gus had been looking for. Boring, but in the most impressive ways possible. It fascinated Gus a little. How was it impossible for this guy to be lured in by any sort of thing that Gus threw at him? He countered everything so professionally that any journalist would have a field day trying to navigate that maze of polite into anything worth publishing that didn't cover the music part. It was fabulous. He chuckled slightly as he sat back a little and shrugged. "Oh, you certainly have talents." He mused, making sure to make it clear he didn't mean it in any sort of insulting way. "Your talent for avoiding topics or leading them back to your artistry is an art on it's own." He complimented him every so casually, although he truly was severely impressed. He grinned as Brandon asked him about his own musical capabilities. "I'm currently working on my third. My manager wanted it done like two months ago but I wasn't satisfied with the tracks yet. He complains I'm too picky." Gus said with a chuckle before looking at the other man. "Can I hear some of your music? I've been interested in doing a collaboration project with a local artist but I haven't found somebody that tickles my fancy yet. We could explore it as an option, if you're interested of course. I can't make any promises but at the very least we'd both grow as artists from the experiment." Not to mention it could help both of their careers if they could find an overlap in fan base. Considering the man didn't actually have a first album yet Gus had no idea if he had a fan base but he was always curious in exploring human interaction. That was the very least he could get out of this little pet project. @brandon

The guy seemed to be really amused by something, chuckling to himself as he said that Brandon was talented. Well, that was a little strange, but Brandon wasn't going to say anything about it just yet. Then he explained what he meant about Brandon being talented and Brandon eyebrows furrowed before he shrugged, "I wasn't trying to avoid any topics." A small smile grew on his face, "I just get distracted when I have the chance to talk about my music." That was definitely for sure. Brandon ALWAYS loved the chance to talk about his music, and that was even more interesting when he was talking with another musician. They generally seemed to want to talk about it too. "How many of your tracks are you satisfied with?" Brandon asked curiously. Auguste was now talking about them possibly collaborating on a song, if their music meshed together at all. Brandon nodded, reaching for his guitar case. "Sounds interesting enough," he commented before pulling out the guitar and starting to strum a melody. It wasn't really one he'd played before, but it was coming to him now as he sat here talking to this stranger. His music generally wasn't intense, most of it was the slower sort, like the song he wrote for Rosie. Somehow, he had a hard time imagining Auguste being interested in that, but that was fine. He finished playing and looked up to the other guy curiously. @auguste (So sorry it took me so long to reply!)

((I was on writing hiatus anyway... or boyfriend break, lol. I'm Back now though!!))
As the other man explained himself more, Gus slowly found himself starting to feel a kinship with the other artist. He was obviously passionate about his music in a very serious way. Gus respected that, although it was something he personally was still not comfortable showing. There were far too many painful memories attached to his music, something that his slower and darker songs usually spoke about. He had several fights about those with his manager. Gus did not want them on his albums, his manager refused to publish them without the songs. He had won most of those battles but had lost a few. A part of him hated how much the fans loved those songs. They really seemed to resonate. Sharing his pain was just something that made him highly uncomfortable. He had come to an agreement with his manager that he would allow the songs to be published at a later date or after his death, whichever should come earlier. Considering his family history he'd made sure to bring that particular clause in.
"It's fine." Gus said and waved it away. He understood. "I think I'm satisfied with three currently but I was satisfied with all those that got on the album at the time that I was completing those albums. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and usually find too many flaws in my music later on. Most of the songs that don't have that problem remain... unpublished." He said with a wry face. "I'm not quite an expert at the whole opening up thing. I fear the questions in the interviews if I allow those to come to light." He admitted honestly. It was best the man knew what might await him if he choose fame. A private life was hardly a thing.
Gus listened intently to the music coming from the guitar. He closed his eyes and felt the deep wounds in his chest opening up. He managed to keep it out of his face and his eyes remained dry. His mother would have loved this mans music, no doubt possible. Gus built his walls up rapidly and tried his best to keep his expression beautiful. As it ended he listened to the silence for a lingering moment. "My mother would have loved your music." He said, a statement that conveyed more about his music than he probably would realise. He then looked up and smiled a more common smile for his reputation, although a hint of sadness still lingered in his eyes. "I think it would be good if we made a song together. I have wanted to make a more light hearted tribute to her since before I started to make music for a living. I just never seemed to be able to keep it from plunging into the deepest darkness. I guess I'm a bit over dramatic for my own tastes." He said with a chuckle, trying his very best to move forward from the feelings he experienced. This project could possibly be exactly what he wanted and needed. Maybe finally a chance to move on.

Well, at least Brandon hadn't unintentionally upset the guy by not answering his questions. Honestly, Brandon didn't even realize he'd done that. He nodded when Auguste explained that he was a perfectionist, especially with his music. Brandon understood that, to a degree. In his point of view, sometimes it was the flaws in music that brought out true beauty. So far he felt like he'd been able to find a nice balance between the two. He could perfect the songs that really meant something to him, while allowing others to remain not quite perfect. He nodded, "Yeah, that's the one thing I'm not quite looking forward to when it comes to selling albums," Brandon admitted. He got along with people just fine, but he wasn't sure how interviews would go. It was more the unknown that unsettled him than anything else. As he played for the other musician, Brandon looked down at his guitar, simply letting the music flow through him. It was his favorite way to play, letting the music come on its own. Sure, it was fun to work on pieces and make them better than before, but nothing beat that first playing. At least, not in his mind. When he finished and looked up, the man said that his mother would have loved his music. Brandon nodded, "Thank you," he answered sincerely. That was a pretty high compliment. To his surprise, Auguste wanted them to make a song together. Brandon definitely hadn't expected that, but he sure wasn't against it either. He smiled, nodding in agreement. "I think that's a good idea," Brandon agreed. It would get his music out to a wider audience, but it would also help him connect with a fellow musician, which was something Brandon was definitely interested in. He smiled, "I think sometimes we all get over-dramatic," he remembered the day when he'd played for Irina in the park, after his accident and Rosie leaving him. @auguste

Gus nodded thoughtfully when Brandon mentioned not looking forward to the interviews and publicity parts of selling the art. "It's best to decide what you're willing to tell the public before you do your first interview. They always try to get more anyway. It's best to have some defence mechanisms ready to disarm the people doing the interview to divert them or stop them from pushing you for the things you don't want to talk about without being rude. Even if they are nothing but maggots they are the ones that can make or break your career, especially in the beginning. It's best not to give them too much reason to try and make sure you never make it just because you were mean to them once. It's a waste of talent." He adviced and then chuckled. "My usual method is just shameless flirting, although I don't see that working for you. A fair amount of the journalists that get into the fame branch do it mostly to meet the stars and get the juicy stories. I found that in a decent amount of the cases they don't pry too much if you make them feel important and privy to special information, even if they are not. The more prepared ones won't fall for that trap but it should limit your troubles a little bit." He expanded. He had never been one to share much, even before his fame. He'd had enough of a reputation at school to know how to maintain one and he had never been one to share details of his personal life. He hated that.
Auguste knew he'd made the right choice. His mother would have loved it and the guy seemed extremely nice and sincere. Gus just hoped he'd be able to maintain that if he managed to make the climb that Gus figured was possible with his talents. Too many people fell. The more messed up people were at the start, the more likely they seemed to be to make it through. Not much to ruin about a ruin.
At the very least Brandon liked the idea of doing a project together. Gus smiled at that and nodded happily. "I've had a few ideas that mostly just don't suit my current style of music. In a cooperation between the two of us I think they could possibly work. Do you have themes are styles you'd like to squeeze out that might currently lie within the bounds of your sound?" Gus asked curiously, instantly invested in the idea. He'd written a few songs he was willing to sell or give to other artists but one or two ideas were too private. He didn't really want the song for his mother or the one for Si to end up being sung by others before him. Covers were fine, he just wanted the original. It would be interesting to see how they could merge their music to create something interesting and unique. Considering the beauty of his music it could possibly tackle the things he couldn't manage to properly explore in the way he wanted to in his own music. At times he felt frustrated with the label for having a certain set type of image they wanted him to conform to. Not that he was about to go crazy and so the complete opposite of his current work... there were just one or two things on his wishlist. Something like this could really open up some doors for the both of them.
Gus laughed as Brandon mentioned they all get over-dramatic at times. "I suppose that much is true. Sometimes it's good to have humble reminders that we're not all that special and unique." He said with a playful wink at the other man. At the very least he'd have good company for making music for a while. Sometimes when it was just him and the manager the two could get into some pretty intense disagreements. All in all he had considered quitting a few times but there wasn't really anything else he was good enough at to do so for a living. He loved his job but lately new dreams had been sneaking into his mind. Dreams that would not benefit from the world of fame as they were far too domestic in nature for that sort of a thing. It was all hopeless, of course, but somehow that wasn't enough to stop it this time.

Auguste was giving Brandon some good ideas pointing out things that Brandon probably wouldn't have thought of before going into his first interview. Maybe he should talk to more artists about what they do in interviews before his album got closer to coming out. He didn't want to get caught by surprise and say something he didn't mean to, or something he wasn't supposed to tell the public. Wait. Were there things he wasn't supposed to tell anyone? Nothing came to mind, but he should talk to his manager about that too. He nodded and Auguste continued explaining and advising. Brandon laughed when Auguste mentioned that flirting probably wouldn't work for Brandon, then shook his head, "No, that definitely won't work for me, but I appreciate all the suggestions. I've been so busy thinking about my music, I haven't even thought about what I'd do in interviews yet."Brandon nodded, liking the idea of working with Auguste. He shrugged at the man's question. "I'm pretty open to trying different types and styles and changing it around a bit, but I don't have a particular style or theme I'm working on right now that's not in my album that's in the works." He chuckled, "Basically all my current ideas are works in progress there, but if you have any, I'm willing to work on some different stuff. You have any idea when you'd want to start working on something?" Brandon actually felt pretty excited at the idea of working on something new. @auguste

Gus recognised the struggles of the young man. Back when he started his music he hadn't really considered it having any success and didn't really consider the press to be much of a problem since he had no intentions of getting famous when he started out. The first pieces he'd made had been in earnest, another part in rebellion against his father for forcing him to step far outside his comfort zone and actually record his music. He should have expected that his father would have used his many connections to ensure the marketing would work out and that if his music was decent enough it would get to where he never expected to be but it had still been a surprise to him. Due to not really caring about his first interviews he'd built a reputation as a bad boy and a rebel without intending to, although the image and theme suited him rather well. As he had rolled into it he'd come to realise that the life of a star was the kind of life that he actually enjoyed, which wasn't exactly something he'd expected. He was thankful to his father for pushing him and going behind his back to make the project work and had swamped himself with far too much work every single day ever since. While he upheld his image to the press he had started to live a far calmer life away from the spotlights. Not that he was likely to ever admit that.
Gus nodded. "Interviews will create your image for the public, along with your music. No matter how much you change as a person, the press will always try to fit you into the image they think will sell best. It's best to figure out what you want that image to be so you can control most of it. I mean..." He chuckled slightly and gave the other man a playful wink. "I don't exactly have a good reputation. I'm a bad boy that lives of the lavish lifestyle that my fame got me, pampered by my rich father, unable to appreciate him and my great start in my never ending teenage rebellion, but somewhere deep down I have a heart of gold that can melt the heart of nearly any fan girl." He said it, mocking his own description extensively before shaking his head. "I appreciate what my father did a lot, as well as the advantages he gave me. There's just more to the story than those press vultures know and I'm not usually in a mood to share the truth so I charm and I lie and nine out of ten times the people doing the interview fall for it and figure that what I choose to tell them is true. It's all politics and mind games."
Gus pondered the idea of what they should create for a moment. While the style Brandon had was everything but common for Gus he loved that kind of work. Calmer and deeper in the surface emotions where Gus tended to hide those under drums and electric guitars. Maybe it would be fun to do a song that allowed him to display something that people rarely got to see. His grin grew slightly as he mentally started to do some math on which topics were worth a shot and which themes he wanted to involve. He then looked at Brandon with a slightly calculating look. "How do you feel about a collaboration where we try to find an overlap in writing the text we sing towards one person that matters about another that matters? It's an idea I've been playing with but it doesn't suit my genre." He said with a shrug. "In a way I'm dying to tell my mother about my life, and specifically one person in it and the only way I can do that is through music. I can start pretty much right now. I don't have much planned in the evening and I can cancel whatever plans I hadn't thought up yet. If you prefer another day that's just as well."

Brandon smiled as he listened to Auguste's explanation of interviews and how that went. He was pretty sure he already knew how the journalists were going to portray him: sweet boy with pipes that could melt your heart. He didn't particularly mind that either. The truth was, he wasn't a big fan of people really getting into his life. Not that he had much for them to write about there either. He had Rosie and he loved her, but the two of them didn't really have any drama. Not since he got better last summer. They were doing really well. He nodded though, deciding to take the man's advice. Figuring out what sort of an image he wanted was probably a very good idea and something he should definitely do. "Thanks. I will definitely have to think about that," Brandon told him with a nod. He started to explain an idea about singing to one person about another person, both important people and Brandon nodded again. "I think that sounds interesting, and a bit different." He was all for trying new things, especially with new people and Auguste seemed to be the kind of person that would work hard to make it work. "I'm in." He thought about his plans for that day and shook his head, "No, I'm not busy for the rest of the day either, so I'm free." Now that they were talking about it, Brandon kind of just wanted to get started. @auguste (do you want to keep going, or we can kind of fade out ... I'm good with whatever)

It was always nice to speak with other musicians and share the common passion for music. Perhaps he ought to see about going a little get together of several people in the business to share and create music together. In the end that was what the career was all about, not the fame or the attention, the love for music that they all shared and had the priviledge of sharing with the world because they were good enough to get the fame and the fans. Not that it was always nice. He could imagine the quiet life he might have had if he hadn't gone down this path. On the other hand also knew that such a life might not have ended well due to the internal turmoil that the music had helped him to process. If he hadn't gotten into music he probably would have become an auror and doing insane things on his own. It wouldn't have been a particularly healthy lifestyle. While this one wasn't either, it certainly was the better option.
It was wonderful that Brandon liked the concept and seemed good to get started on it instantly. Gus found himself smiling at it rather broadly. He stood up instantly. "Awesome. I just need one moment to bring my manager up to date. He gets grumpy when I forget to mention things like this." He rolled his eyes and walked off, speaking to his phone in rapid French as soon as his manager picked up. As he walked off he grabbed his guitar and pen and paper before heading back and hanging up the phone. "All clear. I only got six complaints this time." He said with a huge grin as he sat down with the guitar and started playing a few chords. He played around with it a little and looked at Brandon. "Any that you prefer? And would you like to start or should I? I personally think it would be better if you take the first sound." Not only would it be a better introduction to the song but Gus didn't want his voice to draw all the attention away from the other voice that people needed to hear. If Brandon started people wouldn't be able to get around his presence and Gus could be an addition for a change rather than the main attraction. "So what do you think?" He asked, all the flirty behaviour of earlier completely gone now that he was working on music. It was clear to see that those two were very different sides to the musician that most people would never get to see.
@brandon
((I'm sorry this took forever! We could do a fade but I'm fine with keeping this going as well. I was also thinking that maybe Gus can throw a mini music party at his house for like Brandon and Camila and if any other music people pop up, those. Would you be interested in that?))

Brandon was glad that Auguste seemed to be just as excited about this as he was. It would be nice to actually work with another musician, see how they work and run through things. Maybe it would help him work on his technique. He watched as his new friend walked off for a moment to talk with his manager. Brandon pulled out his phone and sent his manager a text, deciding that letting him know would likely be a very wise thing to do. "Six complaints? For what?" Brandon asked curiously, smiling. Auguste seemed to be ready to get right into it, so Brandon pulled out his guitar as well, then paused. "What do you think about combining piano and guitar?" he asked. Brandon could play the guitar, of course, but he preferred the piano, and it would definitely make an interesting contrast, if Auguste was up for something like that. "I can start," he agreed, thinking about how he would want to start. "How about," Brandon walked over to a keyboard in the hallway and echoed the chords Auguste played a few moments before before changing them into a flowing rhythm with his left hand. "What do you think of something like this?" he asked. @auguste (I do like that idea! Brandon would definitely be up for something like that)

Gus laughed as Brandon asked with true curiosity about the complaints his manager had about him. "For some reason, he seems to think it better to run my ideas by him. Something about being my manager and trying to manage my time. He seems to believe I'm not good at ensuring I take proper care of myself. Not to mention he claims this brings him extra work. But it's all fine, he loves complaining, so I give him reason and opportunity to do so. It's a mutually beneficial arrangement." He said casually, but it was clear that he was fully truthful on how it actually was best for both of them. Everybody had guilty pleasures and Gus and his manager indulged each other in that way.
Then Brandon suggested combining guitar and piano and Gus instantly grinned like a kid in a candy store. This could be brilliant! He followed Brandon to the keyboard and listened as he echoed the choards and altering them to a rhythm of his own. Gus nodded thoughtfully and then echoed the rythm on the guitar to get a feel for it. He hummed a slight tune to get a feel for a possible melody line to add to it. "What if we have two lines to add? We can add some dimension to it by making the one line slightly higher in the amount of beats per minute but keep them at the same melody. That way we can play around with emphasis on the words we add by adding them to either the silent parts of the guitar or keyboard. It would make them stand out slightly more. It's a bit of a work in terms of the math behind it but it'd be a fun experiment to see if we can get it work. If not we'll just try something new." He suggested as he played the chords he'd played at first at a slightly slower speed so that Brandon had more space for his own melody.

Brandon smiled, chuckling along with Gus as he explained his situation with his manager. It actually did sound like the arrangement was good for the pair of them, though Brandon couldn't imagine having the same relationship with his own manager. He liked being able to follow how he felt with his music. He enjoyed having the freedom to go where he wanted and do what he wanted. Then again, he was a new musician, just starting to open up to the public. Maybe something like that would come along later, when things were going well. Maybe he would want it to happen then. The pair of them started trying things out with the guitar and piano and Brandon closed his eyes as he continued. This seemed to be working really well! He wasn't altogether surprised. Gus was a professional musician, he himself was going in the same direction. They should be able to come up with something that would work for both of them. "I like it," Brandon agreed to Gus' suggestion. "Trying it is definitely worth a shot, and if we don't like it we can always change it later." That was one of the beautiful things about music. You made it your own. If you didn't like something, it was flexible. Brandon started adding more in to the music as Gus played his guitar slower. Ooooh, the chords were getting even more interesting as they mingled with those of the guitar. "What do you think about this?" he asked, glancing over at the other man. @auguste (OOC: So sorry this is so late. We can end it if you want or keep going! I'll be better at posting from now on. Finally got a handle on things)

Gus listened carefully as Brandon interlaced the music with his own again. The two lines combined sounded good, although there was a part of him that wasn't quite happy with it. Bring on the perfectionist it seemed. He could feel the music and it definitively was exactly the direction that he hoped to take. It was less rough than his usual but that worked rather well for the idea he had in mind. He nodded slightly as he tried to bring the music into his mind in order to have the words for himself shape up. Nothing so far. He wriggled his nose slightly in frustration as he mentally played around with the music. He stopped suddenly. "One moment." He got up and grabbed quill and parchment to at least be able to arrange the thoughts and possible lyrics in his mind. It tended to help him to do a brain dump. "Just need to clear my mind. It's not running currently, which it should be doing." He explained briefly before grabbing the quill and putting it on the parchment to write some of the thoughts in his mind down, muttering softly to himself.
I just wanted to tell her I'm still around I've been good lately I just wanted to tell her I miss her daily I still have regrets
He grumbled, crumpled up the paper and started all over again.
Do you know the feeling as clearly as I do That all you wish to do is run and tell Even if it has to be straight to hell When you're dying to tell them what they miss
I've seen you feel my pain That we both feel the same, from time to time Maybe we can be our own comfort and keep us company on the road ahead.
It's been a while since our last conversation I miss you and hope you're well I've been great, I fell in love and I'm happy Will you tell her that if you see her before I go?
He nodded briefly and then shrugged as he picked up his guitar again. "Okay, I'm good to go again." He played the tune again, this time switching it up just a little to make some tiny differences with the lines to emphasize certain lines in the music just a little bit more. "Depending on what we go for I was thinking we could use this line..." he repeated the second creation again, "to create some more tension. The previous one is for a slightly more easygoing story. I always try to make the mood of the music reflect the lyrics. It's even more possible in colaborations as with a little playing around we can make the music say the things we don't mention in our lyrics so we create more depth in the song." He looked up at Brandon with a smile. "Let me know if I'm being too much. I know I can get a bit intense from time to time." Naturally that was a massive understatement but well, he couldn't really help himself. Once he started it felt like it was truly impossible to just stop.
