Chrissy clearly understood Summer not being able to tell where she lived. She didn't want to ask the girl, either. But when she said she was at Hogwarts Summers eyes widened. "You go there? You like it?" she asked, her voice upbeat and perky. "Simon went there. Ravenclaw. You?" she asked. Chrissy said she didn't have a phone and Summer waved her hand, shaking her head. "Phones bad. Not trustworthy," she commented matter-of-factly.
As for the crown, Chrissy said it wasn't as good as hers and Summer looked back to her crown with a shrug. "It's good, yes. Mathematics," she explained. "Basic pattern development. Color theory not as simple, complimentary shapes and colors... lots of work," she added.

April 20, 2025 It hadn't seemed as though Summer was a Hogwarts student, which also seemed confirmed to Chrissy by her shocked reaction to her having mentioned the school. "You go there? You like it?" she asked, enthusiastic. "Simon went there. Ravenclaw. You?"
"Gryffindor," Chrissy nodded, though she had liked Ilvermorny better than she liked Hogwarts.
"Phones bad. Not trustworthy."
"I've never really had to use one," Chrissy explained, but she had heard things about people being able to listen in on others' conversations without their knowledge. That sounded a bit creepy to her, but phones also seemed convenient. You could talk to anyone, anywhere in the world, at the push of a button.
Summer then shrugged at the compliment she had given her. "It's good, yes. Mathematics," she told her. "Basic pattern development. Color theory not as simple, complimentary shapes and colors… lots of work."
While maybe some other people would have been bothered by how Summer wasn't exactly humble in her reception of the compliment, it didn't bother Chrissy. She thought that it was neat that Summer had managed to think of all of that while working with flowers. "Do you like math? I love Arithmancy. My teacher at Ilvermorny was really good."

The girl said she was in Gryffindor and Summer grinned, "impressive. You're strong," she complimented. Sure every house had their own strengths, of course. She was fine with being encouraging. Chrissy said she never had to use a phone and Summer nodded, "me neither. Always told not to," she suggested. Now that witch hunters were after her, muggle technology was even worse for magical beings to use. There was no way she'd go near one of those things if she could help it.
Chrissy asked her if she liked math, mentioning Arithmacy. Chrissy lifted one of her crowns up to analyze it at eye level. "Yes, Arithmacy is very fun. Glad you like the Professor," Summer felt a little jealous that she didn't have one of her own, but she didn't allow that emotion to show in any way. She leaned in closer to the crown, noticing a small imperfection in one of the layers. She groaned, but just set it down, "what's the Professors name?"

April 20, 2025 “Impressive,” Summer commented when she told her what her House at Hogwarts was. “You’re strong.” That was what she had been told, anyway; Gryffindor was the House for the bold and brave, neither of which Chrissy had really felt before. She had made it out of danger alive before, so that probably counted for something, but she had never really felt strong before—though Summer told her so.
Summer also said that she had never had to use a phone; she’d been told not to. Chrissy had never really worried about using No-Maj devices made magical, but she understood the hesitation. She was fine using owls; she didn’t really have anyone to contact outside of Hogwarts besides Lee, MACUSA, and now Summer, anyway.
“Yes, Arithmacy is very fun. Glad you like the Professor,” Summer then added. “What's the Professor’s name?”
“The one at Ilvermorny or the one here?” Chrissy asked, not sure which Summer had meant, although she assumed that it was the former. “My Arithmancy teacher at Ilvermorny was Ms. Gonzalez.”
@summer OOC: I literally just made up a name. Hahaha. Guess I’ll make an ad for the former teacher eventually.

The girl answered the question she had wanted, saying the Arithmancy teachers name. Summer grinned, "beautiful," she said firmly. Summer stood, taking her flower crowns and placing one on top of her head. "For Simon," she explained, holding up the other one. "We will see each other again. He'll worry," she added. She lifted a hand to gently pat Chrissy once on the top of the head before leaving the flower crown station. Summer couldn't stay away from her brother for too long, for her safety, so it was better than she go. Plus, she already had a few crowns and there was really nothing else for her to do there but take up space. Talking to Chrissy was good, but couldn't last.
