19 February 2025 It wasn’t often that Sienna found herself out in the Muggle world anymore, but she relished in the feeling of being completely ordinary. Her father traveled often in his occupation, and his visit to London had been the perfect excuse to put her wand away for a day and remember what it had been like before the owl had found her with that one letter that changed everything. She could even bear the relentless stream of questions – how was Giselle (her adorable cat and a gift from her father, Giselle was doing wonderfully); why had she moved so far away from home (come on, dad, we’ve gone over this before); how were all those ‘magical shenanigans’ going (…fine, she was starting to forget why she’d thought this would be a good idea). After a whole day of catching up, braving the snow (her father loved the cold weather, Sienna suffered through the cold because she loved her father), the evening capped off with Sienna attending one of his shows at a lovely theater deep in the heart of Muggle London. Still, as Si stood outside the theater during intermission (she probably made an odd sight dressed to the nines and braving the cold with only a light jacket), it was odd to think how they’d drifted apart over the years. He barely understood what she did anymore, and she never put too much detail in her stories. She preferred to save those for her magical acquaintances – such as her coworker (although Sienna had a hard time imagining what Jamie might be doing tonight) and, of course, Gus. That only made her sigh. He was likely back in Paris – or Rome, perhaps, or Milan – with his friends that were better well-suited for the new lifestyle he led. With women who were better well-suited. It irked her how jealous that thought made her, when she always valued her friend (her friend) being happy. It was always more important that he had a smile on his face, so much more than what put it there. But it made her feel stuck in purgatory, as if she would never be able to forget the way he could bring her to life in order to move on. As it began to snow, she considered if she should head back inside or make an excuse to her father and start the trek home. @vik

Vik loved wandering among muggle London. He liked seeing all the people with their ordinary lives. Liked people watching and just wandering around. Of course, it was also fun to practice his pick-pocketing skills while he wandered. No one ever noticed anymore. When he was a kid on the streets, he'd gotten caught one out of twenty times, but he'd all but perfected his skills now. It was a rare occurrence for anyone to notice. As he wandered, he saw a pretty girl standing outside a theater all on her own. He looked around, wondering if maybe a boyfriend or date was nearby, but no one seemed to be paying her any attention. Sooooo naturally Vik walked up, a charming smile adorning his face. "Hey, what's a pretty girl like you doing all on your own out here?" he asked as he approached her. Sienna Aurélie Linslee

Sienna rather hated spending time outside, and the feeling of the cold seeping into her bones urged her to quickly choose between returning inside or going home. On a regular night, she might be eyeing the other people in the vicinity, maybe watching the street closely for signs of irregularity, but…she’d fallen out of the habit while in muggle London. It was hard to see Muggles as a threat anymore now that she had a secret weapon up her sleeve (or rather, tucked away for easy access in her bag).
She blamed her lack of attention towards the general vicinity for the reason she startled at the sound of a voice cutting across the silence. It only took a second after that for her to take in the man who’d addressed her, his easy posture, and to compose one of those charismatic smiles she’d learned at an early enough age. “Wondering if the snow will be worse than the first act.” She let her eyes drag over his figure slowly, let him see her looking. “You use that line often?”

The girl didn't seem too surprised to see that someone was talking to her, which Vik definitely considered a good thing. He wasn't really interested in scaring pretty girls. That kind of ruined the experience with them, so he appreciated her calm attitude. He chuckled at her comment about the play, then leaned up against the railing. He wasn't super close to her, but close enough they could talk comfortably. "Ah, it's that bad, huh?" He lifted an eyebrow as he noticed her looking at him, smirking a bit but not trying to step away. If she wanted to look, he wouldn't stop him. At her next question, he chuckled and shook his head. "Nope, this is a first with that one. How's it working?" Hopefully he'd be more interesting than the play at least, but he was curious to see what she would say. Sienna Aurélie Linslee
