Jamie rolled her eyes when Andy asked if she always talked like a bumper sticker. It was enough to relieve the tension, at least, which Jamie was glad for. She didn’t particularly enjoy talking about heavy subjects, no matter how necessary it might have been at the moment. “Maybe bumper stickers always talk like me.” It didn’t exactly make sense, but Jamie understood what Andy met, and hopefully Andy understood her too.
Andy said not to apologize, and Jamie swallowed hard. She had an apologizing thing, oftentimes apologizing for things that weren’t even her fault. This felt like her fault – parts of it, at least. Andy asked about the potion and Jamie’s hands fluttered nervously. “Right!” She had been so caught up in the intensity of the moment she had forgotten about the potion she was brewing. Jamie threw in a mandrake leaf to balance the effects of the over-brewing, stirring counterclockwise twice to make sure the antidote wasn’t ruined. It wasn’t, thankfully. “I’ll bottle it all for you,” Jamie said, throwing in the last of the ingredients before going to retrieve the glass bottles she kept for storing potions. “I’m assuming you know the right dose?” If Andy didn’t, then Callisto should, if she had suggested the potion.

Jamie rolled her eyes, a familiar movement that made Andy feel a tiny bit more relaxed. She said that maybe the stickers always talked like her and that caused an actual laugh to come out of Andy's mouth. "Maybe, Jam. Maybe," she agreed affectionately. Honestly, there was no one better than Jamie Greyback, Andy knew that, and she didn't deserve her in any way, let alone all the ways she had her.
Jamie swallowed when Andy said not to apologize, and Andy wanted to say something more, but Jamie caught on to the suggestion about the potions. Jamie moved away from her to work on it and Andy followed, standing slightly behind ehr and making an attempt to rest her chin on Jamie's shoulder even though she was working. She nodded as Jamie stirred, saying she'd bottle it up. Andy stepped back slightly so Jamie could get the bottles and asking if she knew the right dose. "Yeah, it's about a tablespoon every four hours," she explained.
