February 22nd, 2025 Maybe Harry was feeling nostalgic, or maybe he just needed the fresh air. Either way, he found himself making his way toward the hut on the grounds that used to belong to Hagrid. He felt terrible for not telling his old friend he was back, but so many people knew already... he was worried about more. Ginny, Hermione, Ron, Luna, Teddy, Albus, Parvati,Minerva, James, Lily.... it was dangerous. He couldn't go around telling all his loved ones. Especially since he didn't know if he could trust everyone in his family... He hadn't considered that someone might live at the hut, so when he walked up the back door to look in the window he jumped when he saw someone in there. "Sorry, sorry!" he repeated, his voice coming through the face of his disguise as Professor Dent. He cleared his throat and stepped down the stairs, waving fro below instead. "Just wanted to see the old hut and all," he announced. @lucas

Lucas sat at a relatively small table in the small hut that was away from the school, and close to the forest. That was where he liked being. With the window open, to help him feel more like he was outside, The young professor worked on grading homework that he had given to his students. After getting through about half, he took a deep breath in, stretching himself out and letting his head hang back.
It was about this time, when he saw some movement outside, by the back door, Lucas looked in that direction. He was expecting to see a large red bird. Odin had gone out, probably hunting, and Lucas was feeling a little lonely without him. But to his shock and surprise, it was an older man. He tried to move from his relaxed stretched out pose on the chair to a regular sitting one, but it didn't work too well. Instead he quickly got up and moved to the door, opening it. "It's fine, come on in." He moved back so that the man could enter, keeping an eye on the sky.
The small hut wasn't much, but it was perfect for Lucas. He had his bed on one side along with the necessities for living around, but in every other nook and cranny of the place were creates, barrels and boxes of things for taking care of magical creatures. The place was quite untidy, Not many people actually had come down to visit him, or even to see the hut.

The man inside opened the door and Harry recalled seeing him at the staff meetings and whatnot. He was having trouble placing the name, and felt pretty guilty about that. Harry nodded, smiling a little as he stepped inside the hut. Things looked different, of course. It was still the same within the vibe of boxes and things everywhere, the studio set up and the general unruliness. That made Harry smile. He looked up at the ceiling, feeling his heart sink a little at how much closer it was to him now than it used to be. He was silent for a few moments, looking around before he turned to face his host. "Oh, yes, I'm Professor Dent," he reached a hand out in offering for a shake. His persona of Professor Dent was supposed to be a bit more formal than Harry himself, even though he was kind of terrible at that. @lucas

Lucas let the man in and watched as he looked around. Taking one more glance out and leaving the door open, he turned to the man just as he held out his hand, introducing himself. Lucas took a moment to wipe his hand on his pants before taking Professor Dent's hand. This was a habit that he had picked up the more he worked with magical creatures. Especially in handling the creatures. You never quite knew what was going to wined up on your hands. This had never bothered Lucas, but he knew that most people didn't grow up surrounded by the sounds and spells that he did. "Lucas, er, Professor King. It's a pleasure." He said, trying to be polite. Lucas was quite a relaxed type, being formal didn't suite him too well. "Did you go to school here?" He had guessed that he probably knew the old Care of Magical Creatures professor. He had been told that he was a large man who was also the grounds keeper. Lucas would have loved to know him, unfortunately he didn't.
"Would you like some tea-oof!" He offered just as a large red bird swooped into the still open door and impacted into his shoulder. He was fine with the wait of the bird, it was the unexpected surprise of it. Lucas had stepped forward, compensating for the movement of the weight. HARRY JAMES POTTER
