And then it was April. Lee had already been here for almost 4 months and while she had definitely made some headway on the Azkaban case, she really wasn’t much closer to her goal. But right now, she had other things on her mind. She had just had an uncomfortable conversation with Chrissy and it left a bit of a sour taste in her mouth. Lee always thought she could handle anything, but being in a position of authority over teenagers was breaking her. She didn’t know what she was doing. She wasn’t a parent.

She had spent the whole day just wandering around the festival, she was at work, even if she wasn’t. Given the events of the last Hogsmead festival, she didn’t want to take any chances here, especially not with Mazie and Chrissy being here this time. But now, the sun was starting to set and a certain mediwizard was supposed to be meeting her by the rose maze soon. So she wandered over there to wait for him.

The past few months were really good for Rory. Being with Alyra, even though it wasn't as much due to both of their busy schedules, was amazing. He loved talking to her and going on dates and just being around her. He cared for her much more than he had all through their childhood, wanted to spend as much time as he could talking with her. 

He got to the festival early, since he got off work around noon. He hadn't been to this thing in years and smiled as he looked around. He could remember coming here when he'd been in school, wishing that Alyra hadn't been in America and that she could come here too. Now she was here, and he couldn't wait to see her. 

He made his way to the rose maze, smile widening when he saw her. "Hey you," he muttered as he approached her and wrapped an arm around her waist before giving her a kiss. What? They were dating now. This was definitely allowed.

Rory approached her and instantly wrapped her up and kissed her. She smiled a little and let him, but she had never been a huge fan of public displays of affection. She had to get used to that now, she supposed. “hey. Glad you made it. How was work?” she asked. Honestly she was expecting to have to wait for him for a little bit longer. She could only assume there were no emergencies at work if he was able to get away so early. “you ready for this maze?” she looked over to it, scanning the entrance.
