Hugo was excited for the chance to be out of the castle, away from responsibilities like preparing for his end of year NEWTs and his Head Boy responsibilities. Sometimes, it all seemed like too much and he just needed to get away, which was why he was really looking forward to today. At the flower festival, he didn't have any responsibilities. All he was supposed to do was have fun with his girlfriend- man, he still wasn't used to calling Piper his girlfriend, but he loved it. Hugo fully intended to do as much as he could with Piper. 

He and Piper were supposed to meet there this morning, since he did have some Head Boy responsibilities to get to before he could head out. He took the portkey to the meadow, looking around with interest once he arrived. He saw the vendor stands and made his way over there, looking over the crowds for his girlfriend. Where was she?

Flower Festival 2025

Flower crowns made every girl feel like a princess. There was no exceptions when it came to a girl and her crown at the Annual Flower Festival! This was the perfect opportunity to create her own blossom work of art that would adorn the top of her head. She was bubbling with excitement since last night, barely able to fall asleep since she couldn't contain her excitement. She made her way to the festival with a group of her girlfriends who had the same idea that morning, only Piper spent too long obsessing over hers, and her mates decided to check out the other flower vendors and what they had to offer. After spending a good couple of hours carefully selecting a floral medley and constructing them into the perfect headpiece, she smiled happily at her reflection with the heavenly smelling creation atop of her head. The Puff lingered around the flower crown booth and helped a group of young girls create their own crowns, offering input and a string of compliments for the young princesses. The blonde loved making people feel good, especially little kids.

Once she was finished up at the flower crown tent, as she turned away, she immediately noticed her boyfriend, Hugo Weasley, moseying along the festivities. They were planning on meeting there at around this time, so her face flickered with happiness. His appearance alone instantly brought a grin to her face and made her heart soar out of her chest.

The blond came barrelling toward the young man at a full sprint, excitedly hopping upwards wrapping her legs around him like a rabid koala as soon as she got close enough to do so. This wasn't an uncommon occurrence. Her arms wrapped around his neck and she offered him a kiss on the lips, smiling between the greeting. "Yay! You're here!" she exclaimed with delight, dooey brown eyes widening with her smile. Her head cocked to the side with interest, "How were your morning duties? Look what I made!" she sang happily, gestinging toward her head with a pair of jazz hands, following by striking a fierce look while still koala clutching to his torso questionably romantically.

Hugo was still searching the area for Piper when he caught something in his peripheral vision. He turned to the side just in time to recognize his girlfriend running at him and then jumping on him. He laughed as he caught her, holding her close as he kissed her back. He grinned when she started saying how excited she was that he was here. "What? You haven't been able to have any fun without me?" he teased with a wink before kissing her quickly. He shrugged a shoulder at her question about his duties. "They were fine. Nothing really important happened at all. I'm much more excited to be here with you."He glanced up at her flower crown. "Naaaw, you couldn't have made that yourself. It looks like it was professionally made," Hugo teased, unable to help himself. Of course she could. Piper was the kind of person that was undeniably creative. She made things like that all the time.

Flower Festival 2025

Piper knew Hugo would catch her when she came flying at him, kissing him in a public display of affection that would make most people cringe. "Well, it's always more fun with my boyfriend." she sang with a ditzy laugh before lacing her fingers through his. When Hugo admired her crown, stating that it looked like a professional had made it, the blonde beamed from ear to ear proudly. Eating his words up like vegan ice cream. She fluffed her hair around her crown, batting her eyelashes for extra measure, "Sure, did!" she nodded proudly again, "And I made you a little corsage thingy." Piper dug into her enchanted purse and revealed a small corsage of small flowers all in Gryffindor colors. It was the Flower Festival after all. "Because you gotta show some Flower Fest pride!" she declared, reaching to pin it on the collar of his coat with a smile.
