June 10th 2025 (1 day before full moon) Saturday didn’t leave his room all of the time, especially not on days around the full moon, since those days were the hardest with his condition. But his siblings all knew that they could knock and come in almost anytime. He was happy to still be social, he just tended to smoke a lot more on those days and didn’t really want to leave his bed. He had a large one and it was covered in pillows and blankets and was extremely comfortable. It also faced a large, wall mounted, Television with his playstation connected.
He spent a lot of his day laying here, watching movies, or playing chill games. He had the full Virtual reality set up too, but days where he smoked almost all day were hard to play anything in VR. He had two guitars and both were mounted on the wall on either side of his Television. One was a pretty, acoustic twelve string, and the other, a blue and black electric fender.
But even with all of that, right now all he was doing was laying on his made bed, his room mostly full of smoke, with his blackout curtains pulled shut over his window while a muggle movie from the early 2000s played on the television. Just chilling. One of his most favorite pastimes.

Thursday had spent most of the day in bed, alone, and quiet. She had Bast, her Kneazle with her, but still she yearned for more. That, and her stomach finally giving in to the fact that she hadn't eaten in almost twelve hours, she finally moved from under her covers. She grabbed an over sized jacket from the floor, probably belonging to one of her brothers, and she crept silently to her door. Still in her pajama shorts and a form fitting tank top, she lazily pulled her arms through the rolled up sleeves of the jacket, one side missing her shoulder completely. She padded down the hall way of the penthouse, her silent movements heard by the creature following her. Bast had a habit of staying close to Thursday, especially on really bad days. She passed her brothers room, hearing a familiar movie playing in it.
The girl knew that someone would make her eat at some point, so she might as well see if anything seemed good. She softly entered the kitchen and opened the fridge. Pizza, pizza, take out...there it was. Half of a chocolate turtle pie. She pulled it out and grabbed two forks from one of the drawers. Softly making her way back to Saturday's room. She couldn't stand being alone, and she knew that he had an open door policy, even if his door was closed.
Thursday stood outside the door, questioning. What if he was asleep. It was the day before the full moon, so maybe he didn't want to see her. No, that was the dark mood talking. She took a deep breath, and grabbed the door handle. She cracked the door open and smoke pooled out of the room. Sat? She managed to croak out as she stuck her head into the door, bed head and all.

Saturday sat up a little when he heard someone open his door. And by sitting up a little, he really just raised his head from his pillow and turned it towards the door to see who was there. But he knew who it was before he saw her, he knew all of his siblings by their voices. It was Thursday. “Yeah? You can come in.” he replied to her call. His voice was a little scratchy from the amount of weed that he had smoked today. He did smoke just about everyday that he could, but on the days before and after the full moon, he smoked exponentially more than he did normally. It really helped calm a lot of the pain and symptoms of his impending transformation.
When she opened the door a little more he saw that she was carrying something in her arms. “Whatcha got there?” knowing his sister, and the taste that she had in food, it was something sweet and delicious. Which he could definitely go for right about now. He sat up a little more on the bed, there was already loads of room for her, but he still scooted over a little so she could climb up more easily on the side nearest the door. He loved having a king bed.

“Yeah? You can come in.” was all the girl needed to hear. The door opened to let the small figure in, Bast entered as well, and Thrusday closed the door, soundlessly moving to the bed. Climbing up, she placed the pie, and two forks on the bad as she climbed up. Being short was a pain sometimes, but this wasn't anything new to her. She knew that she could count on Saturday to keep her company.
"Pie" She softly said as she crawled next to him, dragging the pie closer and opening the lid. She handed her brother a fork and took a small bite. Petting the animal that had found it's way next to her. "Whachya watchin?" She managed after swallowing what she had eaten. She didn't want to talk about her. She knew what he was watching, but she needed a detraction. Thrusday took a second bite of pie, this one a little larger, and laid her head on her brother, looking at the TV.

She climbed up onto his bed and said that she had brought pie. “ooh.” he coed, taking a look at the food. She handed him a fork and he took a bit of it right after she did. It was nice and tasted really rich, which was good to satisfy his craving for sugar that he suddenly got when he heard her knocking on his door. It was like a link in his head, between his sister and sugary food, and of course he knew that as a vampire, it was one of the things that she liked the most, but it was never unwelcome in his eyes. “This is good.” he added. His hamster made little squeaks from his cage on the night table beside him, but he wasn’t going to take him out right now. Saturday knew, in his higher than average state, he’d lose him. She asked what he was watching and he had to think for a moment. “Uh… Grown Ups. It’s an older Adam Sandler movie.” it was stupid. But it was just the right level of stupid humor for his current state.

Saturday was a good brother. Whether or not he was high. He always cared for her, and that was what she needed, esspecially on bad days like this one. She also knew that it wasn't the best day for him either. Maybe they could help eachother out, like they have done in the past. Sweets was something that she rarely denied, and she knew that Saturday wouldn't mind a snack at this point. He had probably, like her, trapped himself in his room all day. “This is good.” he commented after eating some pie. She simply nodded her head as she took her second, and larger bite.
As the hamster squeaked, the cat like beast perked her head in it's direction, though, she knew better. She wasn't going to leave Thursday right now. This was what she was here for. As the Kneazle laid her head back down, Thursday took a third bite, leaving the fork in her mouth as she scratched Bast on the head.
“Uh… Grown Ups. It’s an older Adam Sandler movie.” her head on her brother she nodded. It wasn't a movie that she usually went for, but she didn't care right now. It was something. In her normal state, she would rather have something less stupid. Movies like this just didn't make any seance to her, normally. She gave a chuckle, responding to the movie, as she pulled the fork out of her mouth. She lifted the pie up a little "Want more?" In her current state, she could totally finish the entire pie on her own, but she didn't necessarily want to.

Saturday saw his sister's pet peek it’s head up at the sounds that Cookie was making from his cage, but then it laid back down and Saturday nodded his head to the little Kneazle, he was a pretty cool guy. Though there wasn’t really an animal that Saturday didn’t like. They were cool, and they were okay on their own for the most part. He appreciated that. He liked to be on his own for the most part too - except for people he liked - which was the same for animals.
Thursday didn’t seem impressed with his choice of movie, but she didn’t comment on it either. He knew it wasn’t the most nuanced movie, but it was something in the background to drown out the silence of his mind and distract him from the inner turmoil of his body getting ready to change. She asked if he wanted more and he nodded. “Yeah - you brought it to share didn’t you? You don’t get it all.” he teased, taking another, large forkful. He hoped no one else wanted any of this because he wasn’t sure it would make it out of his room. And even if it did, it would be full of fork marks. “You doing okay?” he asked her.

Thursday took another bite after her brother took a large one. She hadn't thought that someone else would have still wanted some, but she figured that if they did, they could just go and buy another one. And if it was intended for someone else, they should have labeled it. Everyone knew how big of a sweet tooth Thursday had, and the past month hadn't been exactly easy on her. She did laugh a little when he did say that she didn't get all of it. There was a reason she grabbed two forks.
Taking another small bite as he finally asked the dreaded question. She hated people asking if she was alright. But she knew, coming form Saturday, it was coming from a place of live and care. There was a long pause, she held her breath as she swallowed the bite she had taken. Her eyes bluing over with tears. All she could do was shake her head. It was defiantly a bad day. The hand holding the pie lowered to her lap as she nuzzled her, slightly wet face into her brothers shirt.

She answered his question by shaking her head and he saw the tears in her eyes. He wished that he never asked, but he also was glad that he did, because now he knew and now he was able to help. She nuzzled into his shirt and he wrapped an arm around her, placing a kiss on the top of her head and pulling her closer to him. Actions and touch could most of the time say a lot more than any words could. Saturday was a very sensitive guy and he liked to help the people that he loved as much as he could. Thursday was one of the ones that came to him often when she needed someone, and he liked that he could be there for her. So he just held her. Until she was done wanting to be held, or, until she wanted to say something.

As Thursday turned into her brother, he reacted in just the right way. He held her tight, and didn't say anything, kissing her on the top of her head. She shook a little but, finally letting her emotions flow. She turned further into her brother as they laid in silence.
It was quite a while later when she finally took a deep breath and pulled her face from his now fairly wet shirt. She looked at the shirt then up at him laughing a little bit and wiping her eyes. "Thanks, I needed that" She was still down, but feeling better, especially after a good cry. She picked up the fork that she had dropped, and took another bite. Thursday wondered if they had been able to go home for the summer, if she would have been as bad, probably not, but this was the situation, and she had to make the best of it. Most days she could. But it was nice to know that if she could go to Saturday. "Sorry, I shouldn't be making things harder on you, not today." She knew what today was her brother was going to be changing very soon, and here she was dumping a load of tears on his shirt, how insensitive. But no, she would try not to spiral down again. For her brother.

Saturday didn’t move much while Thursday was snuggled into him, but when she did get up a little, he shifted positions slightly and then took another bite of the pie as well when she said that she was sorry and that she shouldn’t have put any of that onto him. He shook his head. “There is nothing you can do to make my situation any worse than it is.” he told her. He was going to be in pain and uncomfortable whether or not she was here and needed someone to cry on. Her being here gave him something else to focus on. “there’s nothing to be sorry about.” he promised. “I’m sorry that you’re having a hard time. I know it sucks.” he leaned over and lit the joint in his ashtray. It was his favorite method of intake. He took a long drag and then offered it to her.

Thursday smiled. There was nothing better than when she was having a bad day, than spending time with her brother. She knew that his situation was permanent, and was happening either way. She smiled at her brother as he told her that she shouldn't be sorry., then he stated “I’m sorry that you’re having a hard time. I know it sucks.” They were something. she nodded, not really knowing what else to say other than that. She grabbed another bite as Saturday lit and took in his joint. She swallowed and took the offered joint from his hand and took the intake herself. She didn't take it as long as he did, but released smoke from her mouth and smiled. It helped numb her from the turmoil that brewed relentlessly inside. She leaned back and laughed, remembering about the movie that was going on. She wasn't entirely sure what was so funny, but now wasn't time to think, it was just the time to relax and lay back.

Thursday accepted the joint and took her own puff of it before handing it back to him. He took a few more and then put it out in his ashtray at the foot of his bed. He’d pick it back up later when he felt like he needed to add to his buzz. But for now, he was content. Thursday laid back and turned her attention to the movie. She seemed to understand now why he put it on. The mindless comedy proved a nice distraction. It was easy to focus on and quick to catch up on. She laughed and that sounds put him at ease. It was nice hearing her laugh, even if it was just a momentary thing. He knew what sort of things she had to fight off in her mind and he was happy to provide a break from all of that.
