One moment in time To carve our names with fire With everything on the line Watch the world ignite This is a revolution We are rising up 3 JUNE 2025 Being quarantined was not exactly Cammie's idea of a fun Summer. There was a part of her that had looked forward to returning to Canada, back to her parents. But that plan was quickly diminished when she learned of the sickness that was keeping everyone in Europe. But at least she wouldn't be alone, Steve and Nora were also trapped here with her. And they luckily had family here, meaning there was no need to call the orphanage home. She was going stir crazy and wanted to do something fun, perhaps even explore London, even with this sickness going around. She wasn't scared; she didn't think that she was going to get it. Without even a second thought, she threw on some clothes and headed out. She didn't call to her sister, not worried that she would get freaked out to find Cameron gone. She likely was at work anyway. Making her way around, she finally made it to the home of Steve and his family. Quickly she knocked on the door, a massive grin on her face - she hoped that Steve would be the one to answer because she was ready to grab his arm and drag him out of the house. MADE BY VEL OF GS

▲ Quarantine this, quarantine that. It hadn’t even been a full three days yet from returning home, and Steve was already starting to go stir crazy. The Kolstad home was weird too, because this was really the first extended amount of time he had spent in the new house. The previous summer they had been in a rental, which had been cramped even compared to their house in Canada. This new one though? It was spacious. Like enough where Steve didn’t even know which of his family members were in the house right now. His mom definitely was, since it was the early morning and she was going to be sleeping for the rest of the day, but his dad and Nora? Absolutely no clue. Probably out doing something crazy fun that he missed out on because he slept in. Lazing around could only go on for so long, and he had already done that the last few days. Legs kicked up over the arm of one of their couches, Steve had his phone stuck in his face and was watching some silly video, when he heard a knock on the front door. It didn’t register at first, but it differed from the audio on the video enough that he tried leaning his around to see if he could spot the person at the door through the window. It was just at the right angle because he knew who the back of the head belonged to. Quite literally rolling off the couch and running to the door, he whipped it open to see Cameron standing there. “You couldn’t even make it three days without needing to see me, could you?” he teased, stepping back so that she could come inside. “And this is the new place. It’s uh…modern? It feels different than the old house.” He missed the old house, not only because it had all the best memories there, but because it wasn’t here. Trading space for what felt normal wasn’t an equal exchange, in his opinion. “So, what’s up?”@cameron ● 340 ● Hearts Burst Into Fire by Bullet For My Valentine MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0
