Adonia loved concerts, not a surprise. Camila Calderon was an incredibly talented artist, and Adonia had always loved her sound. Adonia could sing but just not the same. She was actress first and foremost, singing when necessary. She came alone to the concert, technically, but she soon found a crowd of people her age to party with. The concerts flew by with all the dancing, singing, maybe a little drinking. She was happy, even if she was stuck here and couldn't go back to her apartment in America. Maybe she'd be able to leave by the time her show was over, but that was up in the air right now. “Here Be Dragons” started, one of Adonias favorite songs by Camila. She screamed loudly at the start of the song along with the rest of the crowd. The things quieted as Camila started to sing. The song was acoustic, and the sound of the guitar shifted her mood. She felt the notes piercing her heart, her mind drifting to the person this song always made her think of. Then she saw him. She blinked. No, no. She must have been hallucinating. Was he here this whole time? She blinked again. Definitely a hallucination. She looked away from the image, back toward the stage. Her hands both found a spot over her heart, and she sang along. @brandon ( OUTFIT)

Brandon was at Camila's concert. She was a friend and he liked going to concerts. It was interesting to see what other artists did to get people involved and so entertained at a concert. Still feeling kind of new to this (even though his first CD was out and doing very well), Brandon still felt like he could use a few more tips. Which was why he was here. He wandered around a bit, singing along with everyone else as he wondered if he knew anyone here, or even if anyone would recognize him. Unlikely. He wasn't as big a superstar as Camila. Not yet. He turned around, a slow smile covering his face when he saw a familiar face. She wasn't too far away, but he was almost entirely sure it was Adonia. She was singing along with Camila, her hands over her heart as she stared up at the stage. Brandon smiled and made his way over to her. When he got close, he started singing along, just loud enough that he knew Adonia should be able to hear him. The song ended just a few seconds later and he came up to her. "You're back?" Brandon asked, leaning forward to give her a hug. He couldn't help it. Adonia was one of his best friends. "I can't believe you didn't come say hello," he teased with an obvious grin as he pulled away from the hug. @adonia

She heard his voice too, that was weird. This hallucination was incredibly strong. But wait... why wouldn't Brandon Fisher be at a concert? Wasn't this his kind of place? His safe space? She finally looked at him just before the song ended, the two of them facing each other and singing the lyrics together. She felt that stinging behind her eyes and successfully ignored it. "You're back?" he asked and suddenly she was enveloped in those familiar arms. Her mind flashed back to that barn at the festival, the Ferris wheel, kissing him and the times she heard him sing and - "I can't believe you didn't come say hello," he pulled away. She kept her hands on his arms, squeezing them, and pulling the best act of her entire acting career. She smiled. "Brandon! I wasn't sure if that was you. It's so good to see you! I moved back for a show a few weeks ago!" she explained, amazingly chipper. @brandon

She smiled, not pulling away and Brandon felt his grin widen. Seeing her here was great! He missed her. Missed talking to her and spending time with her. She could understand him in ways that others couldn't, since they'd been through a lot together. Especially because of the explosion. Them being together in the hospital for a while also helped him feel closer to her. "What, and you didn't say anything?" he teased with a smile. "Are you going to let me come see your show?" Brandon couldn't stop smiling. He hugged her again, unable to help himself. "Wow, it's nice to see you!"@adonia

He questioned why she didn't say anything, teased her, and asked if she was going to invite him to the show. His smile was intoxicating, and all she wanted to do was curl up into a ball on cry, which just made her genuine sounding laugh that much more impressive. Damn, she was a good actress. He hugged her again as the music blared, and she sighed into those arms, releasing her real emotions for just one second before snapping back into perfect mode. "Um, maybe! The show might get cancelled, we'll see. It kinda depends on how things go with this whole sickness thing,"she admitted. He said it was nice to see her and she finally gave up playing it cool and wrapped both her arms around his neck and squeezed him as tight as she possibly good. "I missed you so much, Brandon, I'm sorry I didn't stay in touch. How-" she paused, biting her lip, and moved her lips closer to his ear so he could hear her better over the music. "How's Rosie? Seriously, I hope you guys are doing well. Unless... after graduation...?" wishful thinking? @brandon

Brandon rolled his eyes when she said that maybe she'd invite him. "Ugh, well that's just lame," he whined, though still smiling. Wow, it was really good to see her. She looked amazing right now. It seemed like America was great for her. "I want to see you acting. Never gotten the chance to watch you in a show yet. Promise you'll invite me someday?" he asked, giving her puppy-dog eyes to try and convince her. She hugged him and Brandon smiled as he hugged her yet again. She gave good hugs and it was so nice to see her. He couldn't stop thinking about how happy he was to see her again. Almost like his brain was in a loop, repeating itself. He smiled at her apology. "I missed you too. I should've reached out more as well," he told her. Really, communication was a two-way street. He could have written her as easily as she could have written him. He leaned into her when she moved to whisper into his ear. He paused, not entirely sure what he should tell her. The truth, obviously, but what was that? He turned so he was whispering in her ear now. "We're doing fine. Things are a little different now. She was attacked a while back; got turned into a vampire. I still care about her, but we're both pretty busy now. I don't see her all too often." Which he really hadn't noticed until just this moment. He normally saw Rosie on the weekends, but not much more than that. How was he just realizing this now? @adonia

He said that it would be lame if the show was cancelled and she nodded in agreement. He said he wanted to see her acting, not even knowing that he was witnessing that very thing right now. A part of her almost told him, that she was currently giving her best performance ever... but of course she didn't. "I promise," she said, too quiet to hear over the music, but he would have been able to read her lips. How dare he make those puppy-dog eyes at her. He said he missed her too, that he also should have reached out. Then he started whispering in her ear and she could have sworn to the lord above that her soul left her body. And the words he said... so many emotions ran through her. Good. Rosie needs to learn to defend herself. Damn, a vampire? Yikes. Both busy? They don't... see each other? She squeezed him tighter and the song finally changed. Adonia bit her lip, tears threatening to fall down her face. Oh shoot, if she pulled away now he'd know. He'd know. @brandon

Brandon grinned as she promised. Of course, he couldn't hear her over the loud music, but that was basically how this conversation was going. Reading lips was a major part of it. "Good. I'll look forward to it," he answered easily. Honestly, he was excited to see her act. She was so energetic, it probably carried over quite well into performances. At least, that kind of energy was very useful in musical performances. It likely was with other ones as well. She didn't say anything in response to his words, just came even closer and Brandon paused. Had he told her too much and made her uncomfortable? The Adonia he knew wasn't ever uncomfortable, but she'd been gone a while ... maybe she changed? He doubted it. Honestly, he probably just gave too much information and she didn't know what to say, which made him feel awkward. "What about you? Anyone special that you've met since we last talked?" He doubted she'd be as open as he had been, but Brandon wanted to try and change the subject, to get rid of the strangeness. @adonia (OOC: So sorry I took so long. Gonna be better starting now. If you wanna end this one, we can do another one? Just message me and let me know)
