April 2025, London. Gus was tired but at an all time high in terms of energy. It was like a drug to give a good concert and get the crowds roaring and his the masses greed after him and his voice. It was like a buzz more powerful and strong than the one any kind of booze could conjure up and Gus was addicted to the thrill of it. Every moment seemed to reel in his sorrows and make him forget everything that was bad and wrong. Tonight had gone so well, until the lights died out and he found himself staring into the mirror in his dressing room while the darkness created a void behind him. His father had called and the emptiness had taken hold. It had been business, mostly, but there had been news that always concerned him and seemed to destabilize him. Family dinner. He hated that, but apparently he wasn't allowed to skip this time. He didn't mind seeing his sister but a dinner with what they considered to be the whole family just felt like a lie to him and he didn't like the confrontation. He'd sat for a full half hour after hanging up the phone (and breaking it afterwards to avoid anybody checking up on him, including his manager and Sienna, as he needed to be alone) but had found too soon that he didn't want to remember. He wanted to forget. He stood up resolutely and grabbed his glasses that would render him near impossible to recognise except for those that really knew him and headed out the door to a very popular club. It didn't take him very long to get in and it took him even less time to down the first couple of glasses of alcohol. A few people around looked at him, most somewhat impressed at the speed in which Gus was starting his evening. After his first seven shots of pure vodka he turned to face the floor where people were dancing and generally having fun. It was time to hunt down some company and make a lot of regrettable choices. He smiled slightly to himself as he played with shot number eight. He'd already spotted a fair number of people that looked interesting, but for now he wanted to see who would be the most... interesting target to flirt with. He didn't really need an easy night, or he wouldn't have chosen to wear his glasses. He wanted a fun night with somebody that would distract him from the turmoil in his mind. That was the person he was looking for in the crowd. @maria @adonia

April 2025 @auguste & @adonia
Maria and Adonia were out on the town. It'd been a while since the two childhood friends/turned friends with benefits had a girls night. They'd always had a unique relationship but it somehow worked for them. Plus, they both loved to have a good time. So, tonight was one of those nights. They'd picked a popular club for their night's shenanigans.
A number of drinks in and Maria was feeling that liquid courage. Of course, she didn't really need it to be brave, but it was fun regardless. Her poison tonight had been some very strong absinthe, a drink that got you very drunk, very fast. And boy was Maria loving life! She and Adonia were currently dancing. With each other, with strangers, then back to each other. It was almost a game. One of them would find someone free on the dance floor, pulling them back to the other, and then the girls would gang up on the poor fool. Then, once they got bored they'd kick the sucker to the curb and focus on each other again.
(setting it up for the girls, and for Gus to join 'em )

Adonia was SO happy to be out with Maria. After everything going on with her... and her being so in love with Brandon she couldn't get through the day, it was good to remember what she loved about life and she loved Maria, just in a different way. A club was always a good idea. Adonia was drinking, taking in the sight of Maria - those collarbones, her cheeks, her wrists - god, in all her conquests and adventures Adonia had never met a more beautiful creature. The dancing was second nature to them, they knew each others bodies so well it was like they were bees, synchronized. Adonia leaned in to Maria, pressing her hips against her and drawing her lips close to the other girls ear, "this time we pick someone together," she suggested, shifting her eyes toward the crowd. Then she saw him, and her tongue ran across her own lips at the sight. She leaned back and nodded toward the tall man. @maria @auguste

Gus had spotted a few interesting people. Woman and men alike had drawn his attention but he was still attempting to decide who to talk to. He played with his glass for a moment and took another sip, effectively emptying the glass prior to setting it down and heading to the dance floor. He could feel the music and was glad it wasn't currently one of his own songs. It always felt absurdly awkward to be attempting to pick somebody up to the background track of his life. He had spotted a man in the distance that seemed decently interesting, although he had to worm his way across the dance floor to get there.
He made his way, but he had to admit distraction was all around. There were a few good looking guys and girl on the floor. He'd spotted a pair of highly attractive ladies but they seemed preoccupied with each other and well... he didn't really want to make any presumptions. If they were not into guys he certainly didn't want to ruin a fun evening for them. He chuckled slightly as he neared the pair on his way to the man that had caught his attention, unable to help his eyes from running across them. While it wouldn't be the first time for him entertaining two girls at the same time, it always did feel more like a fantasy than a reality. It was best not to aim for that sort of thing. It would probably be smarter to locate the guy he'd had eyes on earlier. Still, unable to help himself he looked at one of the pair and winked before planning to move forward again.
@maria @adonia OOC... I half did the thing.

April 2025 @auguste & @adonia
The young women had just discarded their latest victim. He'd been handsome but a shit dancer. To Maria, that was a big red flag. Because if you didn't have rhythm in dancing, even with two beautiful guides... Well, let's just say the guy wouldn't be worth taking home, even for a one night stand. So, as Adonia pulled her in hope, their bodies pressed together, and announced that they'd pick the next one together, she smirked. Definitely smart. Maybe between the two of them they could find someone worthwhile. Adonia's gaze started to wander, and someone must have caught her attention, because she was nodding towards the bar. Maria, tilted her head, flowing Adonia's gaze and resting on the man in question. The glasses were a bit odd, but looking past them.. He wasn't bad looking... But could he keep up with them?
He was moving, almost towards them... But... not quite. And he's clearly noticed them. Well... that was one way to rapture Maria's attention. "I want him," she whispered to Adonia. How dare he notice them but not come to them?! Then... the wink. Despite not knowing this man, Maria felt a surge of jealousy. Maria glanced at Adonia out of the corner of her eye, before pulling way from her dear friend. Well, it seemed they were on the same page. Now they just had to get him.
Maria moved through the dancing crowd, her gaze never leaving this man. And when she was close enough she gave him a sultry smile. She hadn't been using her Veela charm most the night (intentionally), but now it was like a flip of a light switch. "Looking for some company, love?"
(He has no idea what he's signed up for. Sorrynotsorry)
