Rhys is one of those guys who constantly feels as if he can't catch a break. Although much of that is likely his own fault, not that he sees it that way. He is tall and built from years in the field as a Cursebreaker, and his serious and quiet demeanor doesn't make him look friendly. But behind that, he's merely introverted and actually a little shy. Nothing was handed to him, and he's worked hard to get to where he is. And deep down, he craves all the things he never had. A family, love, and not to be alone. His heart is in the right place, but his judgment is often clouded by alcohol and selfish urges he can't always control. In July 2026, Rhys became a father to a little girl--Amelia. The idea of fatherhood was anxiety-inducing and left Rhys scared out of his mind, but every time he looks at his daughter, he's reminded he'd do anything for her. But just as it always had, his life revolves around working and numbing his brain with whiskey in his off time. He looks back on his life and at points where he thought he was happy. But the other shoe always drops. Rhys doesn't want to be alone, but every time he begins down a certain path, he does whatever he can to distract himself or make the pain disappear. Rhys is a Greyback and the eldest so far of the current pack that resides in the UK. Not all were born there, but it became a common center point. They are his family, but so are a handful of close friends he trusts. Some have known him since he first arrived at Hogwarts. As a boy, he was constantly bullied, although the scales tipped when he grew up and grew taller and stronger. But his temper would never let him win, and the shy boy didn't know what to do when physical changes brought girls' attention either. But while girls aren't a problem for him, relationships seem to be where he struggles the most.

Ana is the youngest of the four Karkaroff children and the only girl. She's headstrong and stubborn and not afraid to speak her mind. She is not one to turn down a challenge. Her loyalties lie mainly with the only family member she gets along with, her brother but she is proud of her work and gets the job done. Dating is not a priority in her life but it doesn't stop her from casually dating (not that her brother knows), and there will never be a shortage of enemies in her line of work or with her last name. After working her way through the lower ranks of the Purifiers via illegal dueling rings, Ana was able to expose Elaine's final plot. However, it still wasn't enough to save those that didn't make it or Hogwarts itself.  She carries that with her still, though on the outside you wouldn't know what was cracking underneath.

Cade is the Senior Assistant Editor for the Daily Prophet where he has spent his entire career. He believes in doing the right thing and wants to help people. Addy is personable, stubborn and likes to win. She is naturally competitive and will patiently look for a way forward to meet her goals. However, every once in a while she finds herself with her ex-boyfriend--all the fun but none of the commitment and selfishly she lets it happen because she'd rather feel good than not. James, the first born son of Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley. He's a people person and is very sociable. He enjoys a crowd especially if he is the center of it. He will go to bat for his friends and family and loved ones in a heartbeat and without hesitation and enjoys and challenge. James has a ton of friends, he doesn't push people away unless he has a reason to. Diana is an introvert, during her time at Hogwarts she had a few friends and her siblings of course but she would spend most of her time reading or learning about something. Her nose in a book and not paying attention to the rest of the world. Her twin is her other half, her partner in crime, or at least she was.  She holds on to a big secret and is therefore aligned with Elaine and the Purifiers. Her friends from before this time would remember a quiet but friendly girl who knew a bunch of random facts just because. Now she is cold and distant, she probably would avoid her friends in public and utilize her Metamorphmagus abilities to do so but there is something about her eyes that her sisters will always recognize.  She would certainly have enemies, to survive those years she adopted a cold exterior and harsh attitude. It was easier to survive and do her job if she was just a cold hearted bitch. But now that the vow is broken, she is slowly feeling back to normal. However, she can't quite shake the illegal work just yet since she needs the money. And often she is looking over her shoulder for former associates in the Purifiers. Those years haunt her, and while she is still closed off Diana has definitely thawed out as she begins to feel a little more normal again.

Asher is the oldest son in a Pureblood family. He can be arrogant and pretentious and is unapologetic about it. Asher has an interest in the unknown and striving toward making the best out of the mundane. Along with his sisters he was recruited into the Purifier cause and is wholeheartedly behind it. Naturally, with his personality there will be more enemies than friends but the friends he has he keeps close, though his loyalty is ultimately to his family. And being the first-born son puts him in the spotlight of single daughters from other Pureblood families. Really, he can be charming if he wants to be--he was brought up to be but you'll hardly see him smile or his confidence ever waver. After the Purifiers fell Asher was arrested and held by the Ministry for almost a year in an attempt to squeeze information out of him. Eventually, he made a secret deal in return for a full pardon. Asher gave up one of the important safe houses as one of its secret keepers. The experience shook him more than he'll admit. The last time he was shaken by anything was after his father had found out he'd fallen for a girl, but the girl was not a pureblood. It was a secret for a while, but eventually they were torn apart and Asher grew even colder as a result.  Since his release he's focused on rebuilding his former empire and his web of connections. But his motivations are slowly changing as the world looks grayer and grayer everyday.

The first thing one might notice about Evelyn is she doesn't smile a lot. The RBF is real with the youngest Oliveira. But, she can actually be nice if she likes you or you are close. Her family is the most important thing to her and she just wants that to feel complete again. Her friends are just as important, though she can be picky on who she trusts. Evelyn is not a bully, but it doesn't mean you want to be on her bad side either or the snarky remarks will happen pretty often. After the loss of her brother and the split between her remaining siblings Evelyn struggles to find where she fits in with her sisters and within her family, which leads her to find acceptance and attention where she can.  After a particularly eventful Christmas, she found out her late older brother was in fact her older half-brother and conflicting stories from her sisters only makes her feel even more lost. But she focuses on her internship at the Prophet while blindly sticking with people she feels even a little bit of a connection with.

Temperance is your trademark workaholic. Ever since her mother disappeared she's very involved in making sure the family doesn't fall apart. She would do just about anything for her sister and brothers, even if all they do is frustrate her sometimes. And she enjoys her work at Witch TV as she balances her family and work. The youngest Ollivander, he's much closer in age to his nephew than his oldest sister. But he gets along with his family, nonetheless. The boy was born into a family that had name and opportunity but he simply wasn't all that interested in that. He doesn't even use his given name, Gehry, which falls in line with the Ollivander tradition of males being named with a name beginning with the letter 'G'.  Benny, as he prefers to be called, would much prefer to lounge and read a book or nap in the middle of the day. If he is feeling particularly active, he likes to walk around the museum or enjoy some fresh air. But, he isn't a bad guy. In fact he is remarkably harmless. Kind, loyal and charismatic as one might expect of a Hufflepuff but with not much of the work ethic. But he easily makes friends and is really just looking for a good time with good people.
