Dear Gus,
Ok I don’t reckon this will actually make it to you but fuck it.
I saw in the news about ... well what happened. And merlin I’m really sorry to hear that. I know I’m like just a fan or whatever but like... if you fancy a drink or a lament or really anything I’m here. Merlin I feel so dumb writing this especially considering I’m sure your manager will be like this girls mad but whatever.
So on the off chance you do see this please write back. Young as I am I’d say I know a thing or two about heartbreak.
Love from, Brígh

Brígh,
Ah, dear Brígh. Freckles, red hair and invited me over for a drink if I remember correctly? Your support as a fan means a lot to me. I'm sure there will be songs a plenty for you to experience the heart ache all over. Life mimicks art, I suppose. Pain, despite the unpleasantness of it, has always been a great source of inspiration. I hope you carry no ill will towards my ex-girlfriend though, since she's still near and dear to my heart. That being said, I am glad to hear I still have your support. I know it's my fans that will carry me through these trying times in the end.
So thank you, for your letter. I hope you're still annoying my brother, since that kind of amusement never ends. I've been doing a lot of research into the horses and chariot of late. I think I need to go bigger than ever before to ensure my audience knows I still love them. Perhaps I should go for more than just two horses? It's certainly an interesting option. Perhaps reminiscent of the old Beauxbatons carriage. Gods I miss school these days, how strange is that?
Either way, I hope you have a fabulous day and to see you when my next album releases. Keep your eyes peeled.
Love,
Auguste.

Dear Gus Sorry, excuse me while I roll my tongue back in my mouth whilst I get over the fact that you’ve actually replied. Don’t worry I’ve been giving professor Courtemanche a properly hard time. I even set off a firework in his class because I was bored with brewing antipodes. Honestly, if you’ve got tips on golpalotts third law, I’m all ears. I don’t understand why potions is useful in the future anyways. Can’t I just pay someone to brew them for me. I can’t remember the last time I felt truly ill will towards someone. Well, I can but it ended up so totally misguided. So I’m trying so hard not to hold grudges. Even if my da forgets that I’m eighteen and a legal adult both in and out of school. Anyways how can I make you feel better? Give you shit chat about how two of my best friends are behind absolutely blind? About how I hexed one girl (don’t worry we kissed and made up)? Or my da likes to get his fingers In everything even though I’m of age in both the muggle and wizarding world? Love from Brígh @auguste

Dear Brígh,
Fireworks in class he? That sounds daring indeed. I hope you didn't get in too much trouble because of that. Though knowing my brother he's enough of a stick in the mud to do so. I always pay to have my potions made for me. I can barely cook, let alone brew potions. It's easily a miracle I graduated to begin with. My interestest during most of the year were... otherwise occupied, so to speak. But not to worry, if you earn enough you'll easily be able to buy rather than brew potions. As for Golpalotts third law? What was that even? What goes up must come down? I don't know, I prefer to leave the brewing to my brother. Get him to teach you hangover potions, that's the only one you'll ever need to be able to make in life anyway. I bulk buy those.
I can easily remember the last time I held grudges.... I'm still holding onto a few from a decade ago. When it comes to pretty much everything in life I'm actually a pretty bad role model. Don't take lessons from me, please? I'm sure your father means well and all that bullshit people spout. To be fair, my dumbest choices were made around the time I was eighteen so they might still have a point. I prefer to pretend that they don't. Makes life a lot easier in the long run.
If you really want to make me feel better, send a bottle of really strong alcohol along with your next letter. It'll be gone before I reach the end of the letter most probably but it would certainly brighten my spirits. But do involve all your stories, including the ones about hexing people because the kissing and making up part sounds absolutely fabulous. It was always my favourite part of any fight. Though admittedly it usually ended up with kissing and making out more than making up for me. Once again, not a good role model. I never had issues with my father meddling though, he was too busy being off doing goodness knows what. My family tends to not have the most useful or forward ways of coping with pain, I suppose.
Either way, tell me a story if you have the time. Buy me a bottle and I'll owe you a ticket to a concert. Possibly the one with chariot.
Love,
Auguste.
