who did he have a crush on? a one masin delisle. he didn't understand it though. they were totally different people. she didn't like his charming ways that he had and he'd been under the impression of her being uptight and lacking humour. though that was before the two of them had spent the night together in the room of requirement. one amazing night. he cleared his throat and shook his head a little, letting a grin slip onto his face again. "no one at the moment. i'm too busy for a crush. they take too much work" he said as they kept looking at the photos. him and james and the kids their age had been just that in these photos. kids. before any of the trouble at the school, before most of them had learned what real danger was. honestly even with all that had happened he was almost certain they still hadn't felt real danger. that was still coming. he knew it.
"i'll bet it is" he said with what he hoped was understanding. he knew this must be hard for her. he couldn't imagine not being able to remember his parents or his sister. it was just to horrible to think about. he ran his hand through his hair and nodded when she enquired about whether her family was there. they should be. he scanned the photo wall and spotted the two red haired girls and the three black haired boys at the same time as she did and he moved closer to it, standing beside her and he folded his hands over his chest and nodded. "sure. though i spent more time with james and al getting into trouble. but lily gave them a run for their money in the trouble stakes. she's got an endless energy. i wouldn't plan on getting on her bad side." he said as he leaned back against the table. "what have you noticed about them when you've seen them?" he asked, kinda hoping and thinking that if she remembered what she'd seen since the accident it might trigger something from before. maybe.

Ginny chuckled as he said girls were too much work. She didn't believe that for a second, but she let the kid have it. She saw the look in his eyes at her question. Yes, there was someone on his mind. She felt a strange pang of.. something at the thought that maybe the reason he wasn't telling her was because he had a thing for Lily? That was a very, very weird thought. But, that suspicion dissipated when he mentioned that he didn't really talk to her as much as the boys. It was probably nothing. Plus, she was sure she would have heard about it from her sons by now. They were pretty eager to tell her everything and anything to get her memory back.
At his description of Lily her smile grew even more, and she chuckled. As he asked the question about what she'd noticed, her brow furrowed in thought. "Well... Albus is a lot like Harry was at that age. Emotional and often unstable. As for James... he seems like a bit of a charmer, doesn't he?" she said. "Lily... well... I don't know much about her," except that she's a reckless child who goes into forests and gets bitten by werewolves. She wasn't sure how she felt about that.

"Well... Albus is a lot like Harry was at that age. Emotional and often unstable. As for James... he seems like a bit of a charmer, doesn't he?" "Lily... well... I don't know much about her," as he thought about what she was saying caey found them a table and moved to pull the chair out for ginny. he thought about what to say back to her. she'd said the right thing about james. there was no doubt that he, like casey had flitted between girls through most of his school years and he was certainly able to put on the charm. "well james is yes. he's also competitive, loves a good prank and can be a bit of a drama queen at times" casey said with a slight grin as he moved to sit in the chair across the table. he rested his arms on the surface and thought about how else to describe his best friend. casey knew almost everything about the guy and yet when it came to telling people what he was like he kept coming up blank. maybe because people had to meet james to understand. he was almost one of a kind. like all the potter kids.
"that emotional and unstable thing is only recent for albus. i mean i've known him for years and he's always had a pretty level head. a distant and cold and seemingly uncaring head, but never one to get emotional. not till you .. him and james don't really get along" he cut off at that point. ginny's memory had effected all her kids in different ways. he chewed his lip a little and looked away for just a second before smiling a little. "lily is like james. competitive. i'd never want to go up against her on a quidditch pitch. she's so tough because i don't think she's ever let what people say get to her .. according to james anyway"

She felt sick as he mentioned Albus, how he used to be. She almost preferred to having the emotional child she saw in front of her than to seeing someone cold and seemingly uncaring. She would rather be able to see clearly what was going on with him. However, she was sure that it wasn't a nice feeling for him. As for James and Lily, it seemed her thoughts on them were rather accurate.
But her mind stayed on Albus. Her heart did a strange little beat at the thought of him. He looked so much like Harry and reminded her so much of him, she couldn't bear to know that he was suffering. Her soul felt dark at the thought and she chewed on her lip for a moment, eyes lingering on the boy in the picture beside her. Finally, she turned back to Casey with a small smile. "Thank you. For telling me about them."

he watched the look on her face as he told her and straight away he wished he could back track the last few moments and take them back. she hadn't needed to know that. it wasn't fair of him to assume that al had changed because of ginny's attack. it could be a different reason? one never knew with al. he chewed his lip and rubbed the back of his neck. "i'm sorry ginny .. really i .. i didn't mean it to sound like that" he said as he leaned his arm on the table and looked to where she was looking at the picture. "Thank you. For telling me about them." he nodded his head a little and folded his arms against his chest lightly. "your welcome ginny" he said with a small smile of his own. "but they're your kids .. you could know all this stuff." he said as he glanced back to the photo. he smiled slightly and looked back at her. "if this is too forward i'm sorry but .. maybe you should discover who they are. stop thinking about the memories that were taken and trying to remember .. it's the past. the fact is your kids are still here and how better to find out what they were like .. than to get to know them now? i know james misses you. a lot. lily too." he chewed his lip and ran his hand through his hair and over the back of his neck. he knew he'd want the same. if his mother ever didn't remember who he was and he hoped something like that would never happen but he'd rather her try and get to know him how he was now, than try and remember what had happened in the past. after all it was the past. it mattered sure, but not more than the present. "do you want me to shout you lunch?" he said with a light smile, realising just how hungry he was.

Could know all this stuff? No, she should know all this stuff. She smiled at him as he apologized, but then he went on to suggest that she discover who they were and stop worrying about the past. She didn't say anything, at first, until he asked about lunch. "Oh! No, no," she shook her head, and then placed a hand on his shoulder. "I should really get going, now. I was nice to catch up, though." She gave his shoulder a little squeeze before catching a glimpse of the picture one more time and leaving the pub. She didn't mean to get all melancholy, but she wasn't feeling entirely up to conversation anymore. He was right, though, and she kind of felt a strange anger because of that. What was she doing just staring a pictures of them? She needed to see them. She needed to see Harry. (@casey -- le end, bitter Ginny time has passed XD)
