A weekend in Hogsmeade was the kind of weekend Cassidy looked forward to. Had this been a normal school in the Muggle world, Cass was sure she'd have gone insane by then. Thankfully, Hogwarts had a wide expanse of space (more like nature) so there was a lot of room for exploration here. Here was different from the usual places she's been to. When Cass had first arrived here, her eyes had glittered with awe and excitement. Everything about the Wizarding World was absolutely unfamiliar, yet Cass found the beauty and joy in it. Yet, despite coming here various times, nothing never seemed to not amaze her. This time, her sightseeing time was shortened. She needed to get Quidditch supplies for herself, specifically for new robes because her own were starting to wear and tear as well as to take a look at broomsticks in the event she had enough money to get a new one. Even if she upgrade her skills, if her broom wasn't up to par, then there wasn't any point in getting a weapon. Pulling her hoodie tighter around herself, the young Slytherin pushed the door open. Suddenly, Cass felt as though her soul had flown away the moment her jaw dropped. Just right in front of her was Aaron McClendon. The Aaron Carter McClendon. Puddlemere United Seeker. "Oh my god."@aaron ■ cues cass with a mortified look

Generally quidditch supplies were provided to the team by their agents and what not, but Aaron missed the store. He had only lived in England for a year and he had easily fallen in love with the store. He liked to see the different way they made things here vs. in Bulgaria. It was nice to see the joy on the face of a kid buying their first broom. He found himself watching two kids, possibly twins, jumping up and down excitedly at the brooms in the display. He chuckled, turning away from them in order to start heading out the door- but someone was standing just in the entrance way.
She was staring at him, and seemed incredibly in awe about something. "Erh, you okay?" he said, raising an eyebrow. The dark scar on his forehead warped with the motion of his eyebrow, as it always did. "Hellooo?" he said, waving a hand in front of her face.

Cassidy snapped out of her stupefied state, realising that Aaron McClendon was right in front of her now, having closed the distance between the two of them earlier. She scrambled her bag for any pen and paper, but found that there was none. She only frowned in disappointment, but smiled again when she remembered he was just standing there. "H-hi! I'm a huge fan of yours!" she began, not sure what to do. What would it be like in the Wizarding World? "I don't have pen and paper, so can I have a hug?"@aaron ■ sorry it's short

Suddenly the girl was reaching in her bag, and Aaron waited until she spoke. A smile broke onto his face, "oh," he blushed. Being famous was incredibly strange. He had been famous for a long time now, since he graduated from school, but it was still nerve racking when someone recognized him. They knew his name and his career and he didn't even know anything about them. Well, it was a good way to make some new friends, eh? "Okay, hug it is. But only if you tell me your name," he chuckled. Hugging nameless strangers wasn't that bad, but he'd prefer to be a little more personable with his fans. He wanted them to know that he cared about them as people too.

He asked for her name. HE ASKED FOR HER NAME."Cassidy!" she replied enthusiastically, her arms flailing wildly to the point she nearly hit her favourite star, after which Cass then pulled her arms to herself. "Sorry about that. My name's a mouthful, so just call me Cass. Absolutely honoured to meet you in person! Are you here to buy Quidditch supplies too? Is there a match coming up?" She did not miss the blush that coloured his face. It was as though he had not gotten accustomed to it yet. At least he was permitting a hug! That was more than enough for her, despite not having a phone to capture the moment. @aaron ■ she asks too much questions lmao

As her arms flailed and she gave her name, Aaron couldn't help but laugh loudly. "Cass then. All right, come here," he faux rolled his eyes at her and held his arms out, stepping slightly back on one foot in order to brace himself in case she full on attacked him.
At her questions, Aaron nodded, "Aw, just looking right now. The team is supplied so we really don't have to buy our old stuff but... I just miss being in here, you know? I've had a lot of good times geeking out over this stuff," he chuckled, "do you play?" he added.

The moment Aaron allowed it, Cassidy wasted no time giving him a bear hug. She purposely let it drag on longer than it should, before pulling away. He answered her questions right after that, but not before moving away from the doorway (they were blocking it after all). "Yes!" exclaimed Cassidy. "I'm a Chaser of the Slytherin team at Hogwarts. I'm actually just taking a look around myself. There's a need to upgrade my broom soon so I'm saving up for that and checking out the broomsticks here. Do you have tips for Quidditch though?"Might as well ask for advice at the same time. Despite him being famous, that did not mean Cass was bound not to ask for anything else other than a hug. @aaron ■ lawlz

"A Chaser, nice. It's a good position to play," he said. At her others words, he turned on his heel in order to throw an arm over her shoulders, "tell you what Cass. Why don't we check out the brooms together and we can talk while doing that?" he suggested, steering her toward the wall of brooms without waiting for a response. After all, he was sure that the child was going to be unable to function of he didn't help her move a little. She was fangirling a bit, after all. It was adorable in a way and it made Aaron a little said that he didn't have any siblings to give advice to, so why not this kid?
"Honestly, I don't know much about Chasing. But I know about brooms!" he said, gesturing to one in front of them, "what do you think about this one? It's built for control more than speed, which would be good for you."

Ah, that's right. Aaron was a Seeker, not a Chaser. Cassidy wished she could do more positions, but then again, their Seeker position had been already filled when she had entered and it was rather obvious that her captain and him were best buds, so she settled for Chaser instead. She had grown quite apt at playing her position in the end. "What model is this?" she murmured, then when her eyes landed on the price, she grimaced. There was no way her parents could afford this, even for herself. "Does the Wizarding World have such thing as part time jobs?" ■ notes

"It's a Darkben 2020. It's pretty great for Chasers, a few on my time have used them in the past. It's a good broom to practice with before you try out for the big leagues," he chuckled. Then she asked about part time jobs and Aaron, being the total boy he was an not being able to pick up on hints, answered truthfully. "Well, of course there is but I'm not really sure if you can work while you're in school. Seeing as your not allowed to leave school grounds unless you have special permission... eh, you only have a few years left, right? That's pretty good," he said with an encouraging little smile. Aw, what an oblivious fool.
