▲ Liliana laughed at his reaction once more. She nodded her head. "Yes, a Ravenclaw. We met on the train and have been inseparable since; hence why we have the same career." Odette was truly Lili's best friend, and as close as they were, she wondered why she hadn't ever met Aaron. "She definitely is a firecracker, but I love her! It's unusual I haven't met you before now, though..." She drifted off her words and sat down in a booth, waiting for Aaron to sit in front of her. @aaron ● 87 ● notes MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

Aaron had some close childhood like that, so he understood that bond. He smiled as she spoke of it, nodding and chuckling at his own memories of similar relationships. "That's great. I think I would have been in Ravenclaw... from what I've heard about it," he added.
Then Liliana contemplated why they had never met before and she sucked some air in through his teeth, leaning forward. "In all honesty, we just met and she doesn't seem entirely thrilled to have a brother," he shrugged and sighed, but his smile stayed in tact. "Plus, I kind of forced her to spend time with our other half siblings and that went... well..." he shuddered and chuckled at the memory.
"What about you? Any siblings?"

▲ She smiled. "Probably! Ravenclaw is a good house to be in, not that the other's aren't of course, but I enjoyed it quite a bit." "Ah...yes brothers are a handful." Lili laughed, she knew that for sure! Her home life was and still is crazy. "Yes I do, I have four brothers, one is a half brother and the other is a step. And I have an older sister and younger step sister. So seven of us in total." People must think her life is insane with all of these people around. But it really wasn't, it was usually okay. @aaron ● 97 ● Sorry it's so late! MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

He nodded as she complimented her former house, understandably so. Then she agreed that brothers were a handful and he nodded as she explained the large family that she had. "Wow that's... intense," he chuckled. "I have no full siblings. Only child as far as I knew for my whole life. Until this year I suddenly found three half sisters, a half brother and another sort of... half sister... thing?" he wasn't sure what to refer to Lily as, but he was sure the way he said that sounded equally as confusing as her set up.
At that the waiter came over and Aaron ordered his food, ordering less than he usually ate because he didn't want to look like a cray pig face at the moment. He rolled up his sleeves instinctively, for the pub was fairly warm, revealing the aggressive amounts of scars from scratches and bite marks his arms were covered in. He leaned forward on the table and propped his elbows up, his hands meeting together near his face. "It's strange getting used to having such a big family in my case, but I love it. I always wanted siblings. I'm sure you're used to it now, though," he guessed.

▲ He laughed and Lili couldn't help but smile. "Yeah, big families can get intense. Especially when we're all out in public together." Which was true. Going out with a party of 8 or 9 was ridiculous and everyone looked at them like they were crazy. He explained his own family situation and she nodded. "That's alright though! You've still got siblings. They're fun...sometimes."Liliana ordered food, something small and healthy. Her past of eating was not what she wanted to put out there, especially with a boy, and previously having been excessively overweight she tries to be smart. When she glanced back at Aaron, she saw scars and what looked like bite marks all over his arms. She gasped slightly, hoping he hadn't heard it. Lili turned her gaze to his eyes. She knew everyone had stories, but she knew some people didn't enjoy sharing them. Hell, she had a crazy story herself. "I'm definitely used to it. Some of my friends who only have one or two siblings I can't relate to, their places are always so quiet!"@aaron ● # # # ● notes MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

He chuckled, ”when my family goes out together, at least before I met my half siblings, it was just me and mum. Pretty easy to handle,” he nodded, ”well, except for when I was a kid. I think I caused enough damage for eight or nine children myself,” he chuckled again. He was generally a gentle child but sometime, when he got restless, he would run his mother in circles until she was quite ready for a nap.
”But yeah, I’m blessed to have siblings now,” he agreed when she said they were fun sometimes. He happily ordered food after she did and didn’t even notice the gasp that came out her mouth. He’d probably just gotten used to it. Then he turned back to her and realized she was looking into his face. He smiled as she went on about being used to her large family. He nodded, ”and here I am trying to get used to the noise. Well, not that we all live together. We don’t,” he explained, ”granted with my career of choice I’m used to the noise,” he chuckled.

▲ Liliana smiled at Aaron. She couldn't imagine being an only child, but she did know what it was like to just have herself and a parent out for dinner. She rose a brow at him. "Eight or nine, eh? Why were you so crazy?" Lili laughed. He seemed so prim and proper now, she couldn't really imagine him as a child running nutty. She nodded her head at him. "Siblings are great, the best of friends you could ever imagine." Lili was glad he had the chance to experience lots of siblings, it was a great feeling and you weren't always so lonely. Their food came and she nodded to the waiter before taking another sip of her drink and beginning to eat. Her eyes went from his arms back down to her food and she smiled. @aaron ● 135 ● notes MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

"I was just restless," he laughed, "I don't know. I've always been a bit too adventurous for my own good. Now, as an adult, I can take it out in Quidditch rather than at the dinner table with mum," he chuckled again. It was true, though! He needed an outlet and now that he had one he was much better behaved. Well, and the fact that he was an adult now, of course.
Aaron nodded at her words about siblings, but then their food arrived and they thanked the server. They began to eat and were silent for a moment. After a few bites Aaron spoke up again. "Thanks for letting me take you out to lunch due to my clumsiness," he reiterated, "is there anything else I can do for you? I mean, as a friend. Since we're friends now, I decided," he chuckled, looking up at her with a raised brow.

▲ Aaron laughed and Liliana's eyes glanced at his teeth. Ah, she had a very unusual obsession with boy's teeth. Her cheeks turned a slight pinkish color and she smiled back at him. "Well, I'm definitely glad you're able to get it out with a match and not on your poor mother!" She smiled bright. He mentioned him bringing her out and she smiled and shook her head. "Oh, no worries! I wasn't paying attention either so you could say it was my clumsiness as well." Lili laughed. Aaron asked if there was anything else he could do and Lili rose a brow at him. She pondered this for a moment before shrugging her shoulders. "Not really, I actually haven't got all that much to do today. Was going to finish some errands and then, well, do nothing?" It was slightly embarrassing to say, but oh well. @aaron ● 143 ● notes MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

He chuckled as she said she was glad at his new way of taking out his wild side, "she's glad too. Though, she hasn't come to a game yet," he said with another chuckle. His mother was incredibly busy and he didn't want to bother her with coming out to see him in England. Plus, his stepfather was a busy man and was always travelling, it was hard for both of them to be gone away at the same time. She promised she would accompany Artisan on his next trip to England, though, so that was promising.
"To dual clumsiness," he said, lifting his glass of water to her for a little toast. He chuckled as she raised her brow at him, shrugged and then said she didn't really have anything else he could help her with. He nodded, "well, maybe I'll have to take you out to dinner then too. Granted, it's a bit odd having two meals together in a day, isn't it?" he said, taking a sip of his water as he waited for her to respond. Whether he was making a fool of himself or not, he didn't care. Aaron had a 'life's not worth living without taking risks' attitude... hence why he was covered in werewolf bites, hah!

▲ Liliana made a face at Aaron. "Well I'm sure she'd love to come to a game, you should invite her. I bet she'd be very proud of you!" She herself didn't have parents who were proud of her or came to anything that had to do with her, so Lili made sure that when people did have loving parents that they took advantage of that and made sure they stayed close in their relationship. Lili toasted him back with her drink and she laughed. Dual clumsiness...that was definitely a reasonable answer! He laughed and her blue eyes looked up. He had a nice laugh, that was for sure. Aaron offered to bring her out for dinner that night and her eyes widened. "What? Come on, I've got money. Let me pay for dinner. I can't have you pay for two things in a row! That wouldn't be very nice of me." She laughed, but she wouldn't mind spending the day with him, he was cute, and Liliana loved cute guys. @aaron ● 168 ● notes MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

Aaron had considered inviting all his siblings to a game together, for sure, but it might be nice to let Odette come without them first so she could feel more comfortable. He nodded, "That's a great idea. Heck, why don't I get tickets for both of you?" he suggested. "Then together you could admire me and be the sole people in the crowd cheering for me," he joked with a smirk.
Then she offered to be the one paying for dinner and he tilted his head to the side, nodding, "that's a good idea, actually. I'm all for equality," he smiled, finishing his drink before nodding once again, "it's a date then. Ooh, is it a second or a first? Either way, it's a good day, right?" his smirk grew as he said the words. Aaron was fearless, that was one thing he had always had going for him. It was also one of the reasons why he was covered in scars, which reminded him... "how about this, we'll save the more serious talk to for dinner. Not required on your part, of course, but I'll tell you about these," he said, holding up his arms briefly at the suggestion.

▲ Liliana widened her eyes at Aaron but she laughed. "Well, I'd love to come see you play. Not sure about going with Odette yet...I'm not positive on how she'd feel about her best friend talking with her new brother..." Lili of course didn't want that to sound rude at all. She just wasn't positive on how Odette was feeling about having siblings and she knew that Liliana would be there for her no matter what...no matter how cute Aaron may be. Aaron began talking again about dinner tonight and Liliana blushed. She coughed, embarrassed and took a sip of her drink. Now, Lili was usually the one who was being forward with guys and trying to get around with them. But, Aaron was different. She wasn't totally sure why, but he was different. "Eh, well, whatever you'd like to call it I suppose..." She smiled shyly, hoping her face wasn't as red as she thought it was. Lili opened her mouth when he lifted up his arms and took in a deep breath. "You don't, you don't have to...we've all got our demons. I've got plenty as well...only if you're comfortable, I don't want to push you, Aaron."@aaron ● 195 ● notes MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

Aaron nodded as Liliana explained that she wasn't sure about attending a game with Odette yet. "Awe, good point. Perhaps we should take bringing our new friendship to Odettes eye a little slowly," he agreed, nodding. He had gotten carried away, of course, in the idea of this pretty girl coming to watch him play. Still, it could happen. "I'll invite you nonetheless, I'd just hate for you to have to sit by yourself just to watch," he chuckled.
Then her cheeks seemed to redden a bit as he used the word 'date' and he felt a slight jolt of accomplishment. He couldn't deny that he took some pride in the fact that she was seeming to be flattered by his words. Who wouldn't be? Wasn't that what you were supposed to do when first meeting someone whom you decided could be a romantic prospect? For he had decided that, no doubt about it. He lifted a glass to her, "I'd like to call it a date, if that's all right with you. Tell you what, we'll call it the first," he offered, raising an eyebrow to her as he waited for her response.
Then, she said that he didn't have to talk about his demons, how she didn't want to push him. "No worries," he said, "plus, how am I supposed to keep you interested if I don't tell you some of my secrets?" he smiled, joking again, but there was some seriousness to his tone. He wanted to spend more time with her, and he didn't mind sharing. It wasn't a big secret, really. "As for you, I don't want you to feel pushed. We'll just see where tonight takes us in conversation, yes?"

▲ "Oh, I don't mind sitting on my own, Aaron. I tend to do that anyways. But of course being with Odette would be great as well." Liliana smiled at him. She wasn't so sure how Odette would react to it all. And as they continued to talk, Lili found herself becoming more involved with Aaron and his looks. Butterflies were in her stomach, and his smile made her happy. Liliana saw his brow go up, as did hers. Their first date? She took a deep breath and swallowed. Her face stayed a clear bright pink and she smiled sheepishly at Aaron. "Well...I'm excited for our first date, then Aaron." Liliana's blue eyes were bright and excited. She smiled at his next comment. "I think I'll always be interested in you. And don't worry; my demons aren't hard for me to talk about. I just have trouble knowing if my demons will be shared with others I don't want them to be, not that you'd do that of course."@aaron ● 166 ● notes MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0
