Harvesting dribble plums was a delicate business. If one were to grab the plum and pull it, said plum would squirt all of it's delicious juices right into said person's face. The correct way was to sever the thin vine that attached the fragile fruit to it's roots. The vine had to be cut exactly halfway between the root and the fruit. This explained why so many people thought dribble plums were inedible. They just didn't know how to correctly keep them from becoming inedible. Luna had been harvesting dribble plums since she was a small girl and had not used a measuring device for years. She could now look at the vine and know exactly where to cut it. She snipped the last vine, catching the falling, plump fruit in a padded basket full of it's brothers and sisters. "Well, now thank you, Mr. Dribble Plum bush, for the wonderful harvest you have given me." Her voice was sweet and high, just as it had been as a girl. She left the vines on the ground, they would grow more dribble plums in a few days. Plenty for another batch of homemade jam. Inside the home she had rebuilt to look like her childhood home she put the basket on the table. Rolf was planning their next expedition, though she wasn't sure she wanted to go. With all of the going ons at Hogwarts, she wanted to be close to home in case anything happened. But for the moment, everything was quiet and she had a case of Jam that needed to be given away. Putting a scarf over her hair and grabbing three jars and a basket she began a journey over the hill to the Weasley home. Ginny was staying with her mother there, last Luna had heard. Luna always loved talking with her, and perhaps Ginny needed to talk. It seemed like only moments later that Luna was knocking on the Burrow's front door.

Ginny had been talking to someone from the Daily Prophet via fire communication when she heard a knock on the door. She said goodbye as she got up. She honestly didn't know who it could be and almost didn't go answer it. But, since her mother wasn't home, someone had to answer it. "One moment!" she called, walking through the house to the front door. She glanced out the window and saw the blonde woman-oh, yeah! That was Luna! She opened the door with a wide smile on her face. "Luna! Come in!" she said, stepping aside to allow the blonde to enter the house. "I'm glad you came by. Mothers been having some trouble with the garden gnomes. Maybe you could talk to them? It's hard for her not having any of the boys around and I can only do so much," she chuckled. It was always good having Luna here. It felt... normal. And, hey! Maybe she would talk to Luna about Harry.... LUNA LACHESIS TRELAWNEY (yay!!)

Ginny's flaming hair stood out against the stark white of her blouse, her smile burned even brighter than her hair. Luna loved visiting her, and wished she had more opportunities to do so. "Oh I would be happy to speak with them, I am sure they just need to calm down their nightly parties. They tend to get out of control." She advised. Then held up her basket. " I also brought you and your mother some Dribble Plum jam. It is quite delicious on toast, or roast duck. Sometimes I baste my duck in it, Rolf loves it. So do the boys. Speaking of which. How are your kids? I haven't heart too much about them recently." She handed the basket to Ginny. As she stood outside the door, something caught her eye. A gnome was trying to climb the stairs to get into the house. Luna bent down and smiled at it. "Hello there." she spoke softly as she got her wand out. As she traveled the world she had learned a thing or two. One of those things was that gnomes did what they waned, unless they had their memories wiped. Then they did whatever you wanted for a while. "Obliviate. Now, I need you to go gather your friends and move out into the abandoned field behind the house. There are some very nice plants out there, even some flowers. I am sure you will be quite happy." Then she shewed the gnome away. Standing she brushed some hair behind her ear, brushing her earrings shaped like mini flowering apple trees. "Anyway. How are you?"

Ginny nodded as Luna talked about the night parties of the garden gnomes. She smiled and took the basket from Luna, "thank you! Mother is going to be excited to use it. She's been making Harry an absurd amount of treats lately," she rolled her eyes accompanied with a chuckle. Her mother was trying so hard to care for Harry while Ginny was... well, while Ginny was away. Ginny turned as Luna talked to the gnome, placing the basket on a small table by the door and then turned back to Luna as she sent the gnome on it's way to the flowers. "You have a gift, Luna. I just end up getting impatient and wanting to kick them," she said with a small shrug. Luna knew about her special sort of temper, so it wasn't as if this was news. Then Luna asked Ginny how she was and Ginny shrugged, "I'm... surviving. Come on in," she opened the door wider and stepped into the apartment, grabbing the basket once again and walking toward the kitchen. "I've just been keeping busy, you know, and slightly losing my mind here," she chuckled. LUNA LACHESIS TRELAWNEY(seriously you are flawless as luna I'm like in awe.)

Luna stepped into the home, closing the door behind her. "You are bored? Ginny, Rolf and I are home for a few weeks, you can just come over! Anytime you want. Sometimes it is nice to have girl time anyway. I don't get much of that when I am away, it is just me, Rolf, and my boys. I get plenty of guy time, trust me." she grinned and sat down on a chair in the kitchen. True many of these conversations happened in the living room, on the comfort of couches. But the kitchen was where real work was done, and so important conversations seemed to fit into the domain of the kitchen. Then her mind raced back to what Ginny said about Harry getting lots of treats. Oh, since Ginny was here, Harry must be living alone in his home. Poor Harry. And Poor Ginny! No memories. Of course she hadn't been home since it happened and so this was the first time she had seen her since the incident. How much did she really not remember? "So, did you really... lose all of your memories?" she asked this question in a manner that could have been mistaken for a passing inquiry by anyone else, but for Luna the tone was one of true concern. If she could help, she would, in anyway possible.

Ginny smiled at the idea of visiting Luna at her home, but she also felt a little strange about. It was weird enough that she was married, she wasn't sure if she could handle Luna and the others being married too... and all these kids! It was incredibly strange to see them all looking like their parents. Lunas kids were easier to swallow considering the mixed nationality within them. That made it a little easier to swallow. Still, she wasn't incredibly used to the idea of everyone being married. But... she was married, wasn't she? But then Luna went on to say 'girl time' and Ginny found herself smiling with relied. "I will! You know me, with all the brothers I am always in need of girl time," she chuckled. Then Luna asked her what Ginny knew she was going to. Luna didn't beat around the bush, so it was easier to talk to her than to many others. "I did. Well, everything after the battle. It was like all those horrible things had happened and them I wake up and... I'm this," she shrugged. LUNA LACHESIS TRELAWNEY

There was pain and confusion in her friend's voice. The poor woman was a 17 year old in a 41-year-old's body, her mind must be all a mess. Unfamiliar situations were familiar to Luna, but she had not often been in anything as uncomfortable as what Ginny was now going through. "If you like, I would be happy to tell you about things that have happened in between then and now. There is quite a lot, but I don't have much else to do today. Besides, spending time with you has always been one of my very favorite ways to spend time." She promised, her tone genuine and airy. She was sure she had some old newspapers and books a home, tat way she could show Ginny what had happened, maybe even help her remember some of it.

Ginny couldn't help but smile softly at Luna as she offered to explain things and said that spending time with Ginny was a nice thing. She felt her eyes mist over a little and reached out, wrapping her arms around her friends shoulders and just hugging her in silence for a few moments. She let one, maybe two tears fall before pulling away and nodding. "I love spending time with you too. Always have. I'm so glad we didn't grow out of being friends," she said, taking both of Lunas hands in hers. "And I would love to hear about things from your perspective. I mean, my mothers told me a lot and so has Harry but... they know me in different ways. I'm sure I confided in you over a lot of things... right?" she chuckled, pulling her hands back, "I mean, I got married when I was seventeen. I can't believe what I must have been feeling and thinking," she said, shaking her head. LUNA LACHESIS TRELAWNEY

A hug from Ginny Potter was one of the best hugs a person could get. Luna had discovered this long ago, and neither time nor memory loss could change that simple fact. She wrapped her arms around her best friend and closed her eyes, a smile on her face. When they broke apart, Luna pulled a tie-die handkerchief out of her pocket and handed it to Ginny. That one had been made by Lysander for her birthday a few years ago, he was always such a thoughtful boy, knowing how much she didn't like to waste. "Oh, you never have to worry about us growing apart, I have found, and you will too I am sure once you remember some things, that the older you get the friends you keep are the ones that make you feel loved. That has always been you Ginny, from the first moment we met at school, through our marriages, childbirth, raising our families. You are always willing to tell me I am not crazy." Luna just smiled at her friend as she began talking, this poor woman, how had she been maintaining her strength all this time? Yet another reason to admire Ginny Potter. "We talk all the time, owls and the like. I actually think I may have many of the owls you sent me back at home in a box. If you like, I could bring them to you and you could read them! I will need them back through, they are treasures." That was the truth. Luna did not hoard things, but she kept the things that had great value to her. Letters asking for advise and giving some were worth more then their weight in gold. "When our kids were little, we would write to each other once a week, at least. It would always start out with something funny someone had done. Then we would get into the meat of any problems we were having. I have to say, you give better advise then Witch Weekly. They have horrendous columnists who seem to think that children need to have all sorts of strange rules. I read one that said children should always be required to wear shoes out of doors. If my boys did that, they would have never built up the calluses they needed to hike a volcano barefoot!"

Ginny nodded and gave a small smile as Luna said they had been and would always be friends through anything. Luna was right, of course, Ginny would never think she was crazy. If anything Ginny wished she was more like Luna. So brave and unafraid to believe in the simple, sweeter things in life. And some darker things as well. But, not matter what she believed in, she didn't hold back. This was something Ginny always loved about her. At the mention of Owls Ginny had written Luna, Ginny raised an eyebrow. "I would love to read those, actually!" if there was anyones story that Ginny needed to hear about the past forever years, it was her own. Her own voice telling her this was all real. That seemed like a better idea than anything. As Luna went on about Witch Weekly and their advice on children, Ginny laughed loudly. "Ooh, that's terrible advice. Do they not want kids to have any fun? Hah, I could use some good advice about kids right now. Maybe those letters would help," she said, shaking her head. Then she cocked her head to one side. "You... have you guys hiked a volcano barefoot?"LUNA LACHESIS TRELAWNEY

Luna couldn't hold back her smile, helping her friends was one of her many joys in life, but it was one of the most rewarding ones. "I can bring the letters over tonight after dinner, then you can have some late night reading to get done. I have found that 3 am is an excellent time to think over life's problems, so many answers come in the wee hours of the morning. " She pulled a piece of paper out of her pocket and a pencil from up her sleeve and wrote herself a note. She wished she could remember everything as well as she used to, but unfortunately, sometimes her memory wasn't the best. She had decided that the best course of action for that particular malady was to write down those things that were the most important. "Of course, we have gone several times over the years. Actually, you and Harry nearly came with us one year, but then there was all this nasty business with some witch trying to kill all the muggles in her area and Harry ended up in St. Mungo's for three weeks, so we ended up canceling the trip. But if you wanted to do it with us, we would be happy to take you sometime! The volcanic ash and lava rock does wonders for your skin." she said, cocking her head. She knew that not everyone hiked volcanoes, nor did they do it barefoot. But there were some fabulous creatures that lived at the top or even in the volcano that one could only see if you were absolutely quiet.

Ginny nodded, "I agree. 3 AM is a great time for that," and she really did agree with it. It was hard to think during the day with all the hustle, bustle and expectations. The middle of the night was your own time to do whatever you wanted, without distractions. "I look forward to seeing them," she added, in reference to the letters. Ginny's eyes widened at the story about Harry ending up in Mungos for three weeks due to some crazy witch. Her hand flew over her heart in terror at the thought, though she shouldn't have been surprised. That was his job, wasn't it? Plus, he had always done stuff like that. You know, getting nearly killed. "We'd love to come sometime once... once things are a little better," she added, sighing and leaning her elbow onto the counter beside her. She looked to Luna, a frown on her face and her brow furrowed with worry. "What if he doesn't want to be with someone who thinks like a seventeen year old? He wants a woman, because he's a man and- ugh," she shouldn't be worrying about that. This was Harry she was talking about. He loved her. Right? LUNA LACHESIS TRELAWNEY
