Dear Ed,
Hey! I hope everything is going great with school. I have to be honest I've been really worried about you guys lately. I know you don't want to hear that, but I'm not going to lie to you. Anyway, how have you been doing? How are classes? I hope things are going well. We're paying enough, hah! No, but really, just stay focused and do your best.
I'll write again soon. Hope to hear from you, Ed.

Will,
Sorry it took me so long. Been a couple of busy weeks, what with the attack and all. You know what, go ahead and worry. Just not about me. I can take care of myself, as I'm pretty sure I've proven to you by now.
I'm fine. Classes are good. Hard, but I'd take charms over arithmetic any day. Hogwarts definitely beats out muggle school.
Say hi to Mom for me.

(OOC: So ... I decided that Edmund actually would write back for the first while. That is, until he got annoyed or offended. That's more his personality, haha)

Ed, Hey, I understand. The girls told me you were really brave in there. Good job. Mum says hi and she loves you. I love you too, of course. We've been planning some fun stuff for when you guys come home this summer. Camping and things of the like. It'll be fun. Charms is better than arithmetic I agree! I bet you're really good at it. What classes are you favoring this year? - Wil

Wil,
So question: are we going to be doing real camping or will it be wizards camping? I mean, I have no problem with magic (except for when I'm not allowed to use it at home- what rubbish!) but camping is a muggle thing. It reminds me of Dad and I want to do it the right way or not at all.
Uh, I like all of it basically. Charms and Potions are really cool. Defense against the Dark Arts too. Transfiguration is hard, but once I get it down I like it. Herbology is rubbish. Who cares about stupid plants?! Uh ... don't tell anyone I said that. Gotta go.

Ed,
I think Mum would prefer the proper way too, bud, so we can do that if it's what you want. I completely agree. It's going to be a lot of fun. I mean, we should probably bring our wands for safety purposes, even if I am the only one allowed. Well, Susan will be able to by then perhaps. Anyway, it's actually a really smart rule and I think that you should be happy about it. It's meant for your protection and the unsuspecting muggles around.
Herbology takes some getting used too, but you don't have to like it.
I'm sorry things have been weird about you staying in school this year... Mum and I have been discussing it a lot and I think we've concluded that you need to finish the year out. We'll have to discuss next year with her over summer. Long story short--- try not to think about it too much.

Wil,
Good. Camping using wizarding tents would just change the whole experience. I'm glad we can do it the way we always have, but don't think you're going to be the only one with a wand. Even though I can't use it, I'm going to have mine with me. Especially with all the things that've been happening lately. And don't try to fight me on this because you won't change my mind.
Yeah. Right. Try not to think about what's going to happen with the one thing I'm actually good at. Great advice.
