Her eyes widened as he explained what he had actually meant and her cheeks reddened with embarrassment. He led her to the restaurant which was easy to get into. "I... geez, I haven't thought about it," she said truthfully. She took in a deep breath, looking down at her hands in her lap as she spoke again, "I'm a little nervous about that," she admitted, looking back up at him. At the sight of him there, though, so tall, brave and handsome... her nerves seemed to dissipate. "But I love you," she reached a hand across the table to reach for one of his, "and wherever we go will be great, I'm sure. I don't know about going too far... not with all that's going on. Somewhere where we can come home quickly if needed, I think," she suggested.

Harry took her hand in his, smiling at her sudden nervousness. How did he ever become lucky enough to deserve her? He didn't, that was the problem. She lost all of her memories and she still wanted to be with him, that was crazy... But he wasn't about to complain. No, he would take her in any form. "Close is a good plan, heck, we could even stay home. But if you wanted to go somewhere, we could pop on over to Grimmauld place, but we can worry about it later." He nearly continued talking, but he looked at Ginny, everything about her was so familiar, but nothing about anything in this world was familiar to her, which was a strange thought to think about. The waitress came over and Harry ordered for Ginny and himself, out of habit. When they went on dates, whoever orchestrated it did the ordering. Just a way to keep life exciting. Only after it was done did he realize that she didn't know what he was doing and she had technically brought them here. "Uh, sorry." he said with a smile.

Ginny raised an eyebrow at him as he suddenly was ordering for her. Whatever he had ordered sounded good, so she wasn't that worried, but she was a bit confused. "No, no just... is that a thing?" she asked, tilting her head to one side. She hated the fact that she had no idea what was going on. "Does the old me not remember how to order food?" she joked, laughing a little.

Harry shrugged. "Old you just didn't want to pick all the time. So we decided that we would take turns ordering." he explained and then leaned back in his chair. He was glad they were sitting down now, his body didn't seem to enjoy moving much recently. He didn't want Ginny to notice though, not after what had happened last time, she got really upset about it. No, she just needed to focus on getting her memories back, he could worry about his own health. "So, what did you think of the quidditch game last nigh?" he asked by way of small talk.

Ginny nodded as he explained why he ordered for her. "Well, if it's tradition then I'm in," she agreed. Then he asked about what she thought of the quidditch game and she leaned forward, instantly launching into a speech about the game, the players, the crowd and the overall experience. If there was one thing to get Ginny Weasley-Potter going, it was mentioning Quidditch.
The rest of the dinner was sweet and uneventful, which was a nice change. The two headed home that night, snogged like teenagers, and fell asleep on the couch snuggling. It was something they both needed.
But Ginny couldn't shake the images of her memory coming back so strangely and suddenly. She also couldn't ignore the slight pain when it happened. And what was wrong with Harry? Forgetting to get the reservation and the other day when he almost fainted in the kitchen?
Something strange was afoot, and Ginny was going to future out what. But first she enjoyed a simple night. Maybe this was what married life had been beforehand.
@crystal7 (lets finish this one and start a new one once we can get some muse and plotting in for these two. Let's just give them a little break)
