Ginny, meet me at our tree (third from the right through the south entrance) in the St. James's Park at 6 pm. Dress in your best. Love Harry. That was the note Harry had snuck into Ginny's purse, wrapped around her wand so she was sure to get it. He stood waiting at their tree in a light gray suit. He didn't want to wear dark colors, he did that all day, and right now he just wanted to be happy with the woman he loved. As he waited for her, he ended up looking for a bench, suddenly out of breath. His eyes slid closed as he sat down, why was he so tired recently? It had gotten worse today. About half-way through his day he had to sit down and didn't think he would be able to make it home. But he wasn't about to miss this night for anything.

@crystal7 A secret note, a blue dress and a red belt later, Ginny was ready to meet Harry at the designated spot. She felt kind of bad that he had to explain where 'their tree' was. She didn't even know that they had a tree. Still, he was nice enough to give her an explanation so she didn't look like a total fool when she went over there. She apparated just outside St. James Park and counted the trees from the South entrance. Only when she was right beside it did she look around to see Harry sitting on a bench not far off. She smiled, and the giddy girl inside of her had butterflies running wild again. She crossed over to him and slipped behind the bench, leaning over to wrap her arms around his shoulders and to kiss his cheek. "Well, if it isn't the Boy Who Lived. Dangerous for you to be tottering around, isn't it?" she asked, giving a mock pout.

Breathing deeply to try and catch his breath, he didn't hear here heels clicking on the sidewalk. But her arms around his shoulder's didn't scare him, no Ginny was home, she was safe. The only thing that scared him about her was that he would lose her. She kissed his cheek and teased him about being out and about. Wrapping his arm around her waist he kissed her cheek back. "I'll have you know, red, that I happen to be a very skilled auror and actually can take care of myself when I am out and about" He teased. His exhaustion wasn't gone, but he didn't want Ginny to see it, so he pushed it away. Let him be exhausted on his own time. Now was hers. "You ready?"

She faux glared at him as he called her 'red' and gently smacked the top of his head. She leaned into him as he kissed her cheek and smiled, chuckling. Then he asked if she was ready and she nodded. "Ready for anything, Mr. Potter!" she exclaimed. standing up rather quickly and in more of a jumping fashion. Not really something a grown woman would do. She looked at him an shrugged, not even sorry. "Lead the way, my lover!" she said, reaching her hand out for him to take. She didn't know what he had planned for the day but she was excited. A part of her hoped it was something muggle related, it was always fun when Harry took her to that stuff. Especially if they brought her father along, in that case it was more like watching him- Wait, she blinked, her heart catching in her throat for a moment. That train of thought was almost like... like she was remembering something. But then as quick as it swept in it was gone again. @crystal7

As she smacked his head and kissed his cheek, it almost felt like there was nothing wrong. They were just going out on a date, like they always did on Friday's. But then she jumped up more more like her 17 year old self than her 41 year old self. But it brought back some memories of some sunlit days that brought a smile to his face. Slower than her, he got up and let her take his hand. He wrapped that hand around her waist, bringing her hand with his, then he kissed her cheek in turn. "Don't worry, you are going to love this." he promised as he started to walked. But she suddenly stopped. He turned to look at her, a slight look of apprehension on his face. "Ginny? Honey are you okay?" His free hand moved to her face, worried eyes looking into hers. Multiple scenarios raced through his mind, each more awful then the last. He ignored them and just waited for her answer, she always told him what was wrong and it was always not as bad as he thought it would be.

At his question, Ginny's eyes widened as she turned them toward Harry's. Harry's eyes, one of the few familiar things in her world. "I... it's nothing," she said, shaking her head once, quickly, and returning her smile to her face. She didn't want to try and explain what had happened, especially since she had no idea what it was. "Don't worry, just lost my train of thought," she said, leaning forward to give him a peck on the lips. "Let's go!" she said again, linking her arm back through his and pulling him down the street. "I hope we're not doing anything that involves running. I'm actually wearing heels," she muttered, glancing down at her feet and then turning to Harry and raising a quizzical brow. Knowing Harry, he probably had something amazing planned. @crystal7

Harry brushed her moment of distraction away, she would ell him if she wanted too. At least, that was what she would have done before, hopefully this Ginny would do the same. For only a passing thought he mourned the loss of his wife, again. Then he put a smile on his face, now was time to rebuild his relationship, not mourn over what he had lost. "Oh, I have something planned." he beamed at her, holding her arm in his. "And, no. No running." He promised. They walked through the bustling streets, arm in arm straight to the fanciest restaurant in town. It only took 10 minutes to walk from the park, but he didn't want to tell her to meet too close, no need to get her hopes up. He had made the reservations yesterday during his lunch break. He had been resting on the couch in his office and gotten a hold of a muggle telephone. Yeah, the restaurant was a muggle one, but it served the best food. This was where he and Ginny had spent several of their anniversaries. Secretly, he was hoping it would trigger some memories in her, but he didn't want to tell her that. "Two for Potter." He told the Hostess standing outside the doors behind a podium. There were several tables and chairs under a canopy on the sidewalk with lights draped under the fabric of the canopy. Behind the hostess they could see the inside of the place had plants, lights, and intricately carved wood statues. the whole place had a cozy feel and Harry loved going there. "You said Potter? I'm sorry I don't have anyone by that name. Could it be under a different name?" The hostess said as she looked up from her computer screen. Harry blinked once. "Try Harry." he said. She looked on her computer and shook her head with a sad smile on her face. "Do you have any open tables?" he asked hopefully. "Our next opening is three hours from now" she told him. Standing rooted to the spot, Harry ran through his lunch break yesterday. True, he hadn't been feeling well but he was fairly certain he knew how to use a telephone correctly. He didn't know how this had happened, but it was happening. He turned to Ginny with a look that was both apologetic and confused.

Okay, so it may have been a little awkward that Harry had thought he made a reservation but didn't, but Ginny didn't like to let people feel like they had done something stupid. She wasn't sure if it was or wasn't in Harry's modern norms to miss something like this, so she didn't really worry that anything was strange. When the person at the front said the next opening was in three hours, Ginny glanced at Harry just as he glanced at her. She blinked, then smiled graciously and turned toward the person at the front. "Thank you so much, we won't be needing a reservation," she said, turning away from him now and tugging on Harry's arm, pulling him toward the door. "Come on, Potter," she said, guiding him out the door along with her and into the streets of London. She linked her arm through his once more and pulled him forward, turning into an alley suddenly at the first chance and slamming his back up against the wall. "Why don't we just go somewhere more private than that?" she whispered, leaning in closely to him. And then it happened again, but this time it was more like a burst of light and a sharp pain through her head. "I love you, Ginny," he was saying, but this Harry looked a lot more familiar. Younger with fresher scars. They were out in the middle of nowhere, it seemed. She could see they were both wearing wedding rings, but it must have not been that long after their wedding because they were so young. There was the soft glow of a tent behind them as they sat near a campfire. Harry was holding her close, pulling her in to kiss her...She gasped, her hand clutching the front of Harrys jacket tightly as she leaned into him. What was that!? @crystal7

Still bewildered at the face that he had messed up this reservation, he didn't object when Ginny pulled him back out onto the street. "Listen, Ginny, I'm sorry about that." He murmured, " I really don't--" The words had barely left his mouth when she pulled him into an alley way and slammed his back against the wall. His eyes widened as she leaned against him, her lips just a breath away from his. This had not been what he was expecting, planning, or even considering... but he wasn't going to complain about it. Feeling his heart begin to pick up speed, his arms wrapped around her, one around her waist the other in her hair. He pressed his lips to hers, relishing in this moment, the feel of her in his arms. He had missed her terribly the last few months, but this... Ginny gasped and seemed to stare just past him. He pulled back, just a bit, studying her eyes, had he done something wrong? Maybe she wasn't actually ready for the make-out-in-the-alley phase, though he seemed to remember 17 year-old Ginny being willing to do that. "Are you alright?" he questioned as she leaned into him, her hands clutching his jacket. His arms wrapped protectively around her as he thought through what he would do if something was wrong with her.

"It happened again," she said, her voice an intense whisper as she still looked past Harry. Then, she turned to make eye contact with him. "It's like... I'm remembering little things. It happened back at the bench too it's... it's fading again though," her voice started as a mutter until the end, where it picked up into slight panic. She kept her eyes on Harry. "Tell me about that time we... we went camping. We were married, but still very young. It was... there was a small tent, firelight... tell me about that," she was speaking fast now, but Harry had long since learned to keep up with her when her mouth started going faster than her brain was. It happened rather often. Was she really getting her memories back? How was that possible? If the classic 'obliviate' spell had been done on her then nothing would bring them back. There was something completely different going on here... someone was taunting her. She could feel it. Someone had taken it all away and was just giving it back, piece by piece, like a sick joke. She felt anger starting to burn inside her as she clutched his robes tighter without even realizing it. @crystal7

She was remembering? A small bubble of hope blossomed in his chest. If she was remembering anything, and if it was happening again, even if it was fading, then there was hope. He catered to her request immediately. "We had been married three months, and it was the first time our schedules had worked out that we had a day off together, so we decided to go camping." his eyes searched her for recognition, but as he spoke he only saw anger. But it wasn't at him (he knew what anger toward him looked like). It was anger at someone else, and if he knew Ginny, he could guess a who. Harry didn't mention her anger, he just continued his story, adding as much detail as he could. He talked about how they had borrowed her dad's tent and apparated to the first spot Harry could think of. they spent an hour or so finding food, making a fire and setting up the tent. But that night they never ate, their food lay forgotten on the chair next to the dying embers of the fire. The story ended with a smile sneaking onto Harry's lips. He had nearly forgotten about that.

Ginny was enthralled by the story, listening as if she didn't even know what camping was. When he was finished, she smiled along with him. She leaned forward and planted a gentle kiss on his lips, slipping both her hands into his. "Come on, let's find some cheap Chinese place to eat at," she said, tugging on his hand and pulling him out of the alley. As they walked again, she linked her arm through his. "So, did we even go on a honeymoon? It seemed like we were pretty busy. At least you were," she said. She knew the streets of London fairly well as a teenager, but not so much the muggle side of things so she let him lead the way. @crystal7

Harry loved chinese food, thought that was not what he had planned for the evening. Still, it was a far cry better than eating on his own. He and Ginny walked down the street, arm in arm, and he couldn't have been any happier. "Oh, we had a honeymoon. Your Great-Aunt Muriel hooked us up with this place on the coast of Scotland. We were there for two solid weeks. It was only supposed to be one, but... the weather was bad and so, we just had to stay longer." He leaned over to kiss her cheek as they walked. Those had been two good weeks. They hadn't seen much of Scotland though. Harry cocked his head in thought. "Where do you want to go this time?" He asked, sincere. Their financial situation was significantly better than the first time they got married. And the kids could stay with Hannah and Neville, or even at Mrs. Weasley's, she would love that. Though they didn't really need to be babysat anymore, still Harry didn't like the thought of leaving them to fend for themselves for very long. Even if James was a legal adult soon.

"Well, thank heaven for bad weather," she chuckled, leaning her head against his shoulder. It was only there for a short moment considering that was difficult to hold when walking. She frowned again at the thought of not being able to remember that. Which brought on a lot of other insecurities over other things that she couldn't remember. She sighed, trying to shake off those upsetting thoughts.
"Erh- I dunno. What's good?" she asked. They could play this game for hours if no one made a decision. She chuckled, "I mean... Wherever. There!" she lifted a finger, pointing at a random place across the street. She shrugged. "Adventurous?"

The frown on her face made him wonder what she was thinking about, though he wondered that a lot recently. He let it slide, she would tell him. Probably. In response to his question she pointed across the street. He looked over confused, just for a moment. Oh! She thought he was talking about food! Well he was hungry. "Sure, let's go. But Ginny, I meant where do you want to go on our honeymoon this time?" he clarified even as he started walking across the street to the small restaurant that looked like it was going to serve indian food. Thankfully, no reservations were required and most of the seats were empty so he and Ginny basically had the run of the place. Once inside he pulled her chair out for her before sitting down himself.
