Awe, Spring showers. They were heavy this May afternoon. This caused Hadni to become soaking wet the moment she stepped outside. She was going to head back to the train in order to get out of Hogsmaede, but the rain was so heavy that she just ducked into the three broomsticks for now. She shivered over to the bar, ordering a warm butterbeer and holding it close to her, huddling over the warmth.
She had been in the village today visiting her dear friend James. He was the current Gryffindor seeker, a position she used to have. Even though she was three years older than he, they had a pretty good friendship going on. It was easy to be friends with someone whom you had a lot in common with! But James went to catch up with some friends, leaving her to head home.
She wasn't planning on staying in Hogsmaede this long today, but since she was here she may as well find someone to drink with. Many students were in the village today and she glanced around for a familiar face. Until she found one! "Roxy!" she called out, moving toward the girl and her friends, many whom she recongnized.

Rain was literally Roxy’s least favorite thing in the entire world. It meant having to stay inside and no sunshine and being discouraged from flying if there was no practice or game. Of course, of all weekends, it just had to rain on Hogsmeade weekend. Never mind the fact that there was like a thirty percent chance it was already raining at any given time. At least the weekend wasn’t cancelled and everyone was still able to go out.
Pulling her cloak tightly around her (but not over her head, obviously, because the rain made her curls look fantastic), Roxy followed her friends inside the Three Broomsticks where it was warm and dry and there was a lovely fireplace that heated the entire room nicely and created just the most wonderful atmosphere. They sat at a table and ordered a round of butterbeers, even better to warm them from the inside out, when the group of girls turned the conversation to who they thought the hottest male Weasley was. A conversation they knew annoyed Roxy to no end, yet they still seemed to constantly bring up anyway. Rolling her eyes, she sipped the warm beverage and tuned out of the conversation, choosing instead to look around the pub. There was the usual assortment of students, of course, but once or twice she had seen a good looking older fellow who drew her attention. No such luck this time, though there was something even better in store. Her gaze caught on a familiar figure, and suddenly Roxy was planting her foot on the bench to leap across the table with a happy little shriek. ”Hadni!” She didn’t stop moving until she was practically on top of her friend, arms wrapping around the shorter woman to pull her into a tight hug.

Hadni was not the least bit surprised that Roxy went with the 'leaping across the table' approach. She prepared herself and took a good stance in order to not be knocked over when Roxy tackled her. Hadni laughed loudly, as she wrapped her own arms around Roxys waist. She squeezed her tightly for a moment before pulling back to face her. "Rox! How have you been? My gods, isn't that rain out there wonderful?" she exclaimed. She liked the rain, of course, but it didn't kind of prove to be inconvenient sometimes. Still, it had brought her in here, hadn't it!? It had brought her to Roxy, eh?
"Can I steal you from your friends for a bit? Buy you a drink?' she offered, gesturing to lead her to the bar behind them.

Today had literally just turned into the best day ever. Roxy squeezed Hadni tightly with a little squeal, beyond ecstatic to see her friend again. ”I’ve been fantastic! Missing you beyond belief, obviously. School just isn’t the same without you.” At the mention of the weather, she wrinkled her nose. ”Ick, rain. I miss the sun and the warmth and being dry.” Though she didn’t mind snow. Especially when the flakes were big and fluffy and it felt like the sky was tossing down cotton balls. Or when the snow could be easily packed into balls and thrown at people. That was fun, too. ”Please, steal me away.” Roxy glanced back at her friends with a little eye roll.
”But how have you been? How’s playing pro treating you? Uck,” she cupped Hadni’s face affectionately and looked her over, ”I swear, you get even more impossibly gorgeous every time I see you, I can’t even handle it.”

Hadni smiled and nodded as Roxy explained how she was doing and icked at the rain. She chuckled, "awe, the sun is amazing but the rain is my muse, Rox!" she snuck in, chuckling yet again. It would be safe to say she would be chuckling happily throughout this whole reunion. As Roxy said to please steal her away, Hadni happily led her toward the bar where Roxy cupped her face and asked her how she'd been. Hadni smiled, but for a brief moment that flicker of pain shown through her eyes. It had been years since Chase had gotten her pregnant during school and she had lost that baby, but it was all rolling back to her seeing as how she had run into him only a few days ago and they had talked it out. "I've been good, really," she said, the shine in her eyes back in place and her smile broad.
She placed her hands on Roxy's shoulder, "the pro life is amazing. You're going to lost it out there," she answered. As Roxy made her statement about how Hadni gets more gorgeous every time she sees her, Hadni proceeded to make a super derpy face before chuckling again, "I can't even handle you. Almost a seventh year! How's that Captains spot looking since Jamsey is graduating?" she asked, raising her eyebrows rapidly.
@roxy (i'm not sure if you did yet but don't forget to do the AC, love!)
