@jamie 332 <3 Excitement was one way you could explain Elias' feelings. Or, frightened, nervous, ecstatic, terror, were all other ways you could explain it as well. To say this year was going to be one of the best, yet scariest ever, was exactly how Elias would put it. The previous week, when Elias had received his letter in the mail from his Headmaster at Durmstrang, there was another letter included in his book list. It was about the Triwizard Tournament, something that hadn't occurred in many years. And this year they were going to be doing it. And Elias planned on putting his name in to the cup.
Now, this made his mother extremely nervous and gave her quite a bit of anxiety, so to calm her nerves they took a trip to London for a week before school started. This way, he could get his supplies as well as his books and take some time to walk around and get to know everything since he would be there for an entire year. It was early in the morning, and after a long night Elias had left his mum in the loft they were renting out and left her a note letting her know he'd be walking around town.
He wore a pair of jeans and an olive green tank top with a pair of black converse. Elias put his hair up into a bun and locked the door behind him, his wallet in his back pocket. It was different here. No one knew who he was; they all just thought he was some other kid. Never in his life has he received so many smiles and hello's from just walking down the street. Elias loved it, but he was sure it wouldn't last long, not with the rumors that would be going around about him at Hogwarts.
With his hands in his pockets, he walked along the cobblestone streets of what they call Diagon Alley, glancing at all of the stores he passed.

A lot of things that happened in Jamie’s life she had assumed only happened in movies – up until the moment they happened to her. Finding out she had not one, not two, not three, but (count them!) four half-siblings by her father was one such thing. Falling in love with someone was another. The kidnappings were a third. Honestly, Jamie had thought that she had begun to expect movie-esque things to occur in her life. Somehow she was still confounded when they did happen, though. Like when a little old lady asked Jamie to help her cross the street. That was only supposed to happen in movies! Still, Jamie couldn’t exactly say no to the poor woman – she looked like a breeze would blow her away, and even had the hunchback and the walker that movie grandmas always had.
Jamie had offered her arm to the old woman despite the fact that she still had a walker, and made her way across the street slowly. Very slowly. Jamie kind of wished that she had timed their crossing, because she was certain it took them at least three minutes to make it from one side of Diagon Alley to the other. It wasn’t even that crowded! Still, the old woman had looked so grateful when she had finally released her death grip on Jamie’s arm that the Hufflepuff couldn’t help but feel good about herself. She had done a public service, and that was what Hufflepuffs were the best at doing! Yup, it had definitely been a good way to start her day.
Apparently that wasn’t the only good thing that Jamie was destined to do that day, though. A child’s tattered teddy bear laid in the gutter, and Jamie picked it up without a second thought. She was Jamie Greyback, werewolf and do-gooder extraordinaire – she was going to find that child and she was going to give them back their beloved teddy! If her life was a movie, then Jamie was at least going to make it a feel-good movie, because those were the best kinds. And what were feel-good movies without running into random strangers on the street? Because Jamie did that too – so busy was she with analyzing the teddy bear that she had forgotten to look where she was going and ran smack dab into someone’s back.

@jamie <3 All of the stores here were so much different than those in Bulgaria. They were of course, in English, but instead of being so dark and scary, they were all bright, happy and exciting. It gave Elias a great feeling, something like butterflies, to be in such a beautiful country and place. Here and there were people who would make you look twice but in general everyone was so respectful and appropriate. Something that Eli himself has never experienced.
As he was thinking these thoughts, he had been standing at a store window, gazing in at all the other owls. He had a smirk on his face and suddenly felt a small person either try to hit him, or ran into him. Elias rose an eyebrow and turned around gently. His eyes widened slightly, seeing this blond girl in front of him. She kind of looked like him, but he let it slide. With a very slight accent, he gave her a sheepish smile, "You alright, darling?"

Jamie immediately regretted that she hadn’t apologized as soon as she had run into the stranger – he had been looking at owls, if his location in front of the window was anything to go by. When he spoke, the boy, who looked to be about her age, had a slight accent, and Jamie wondered if he was visiting London for a bit or if he was an immigrant from one of the surrounding countries. “I’m sorry.” Jamie replied to his question, though it wasn’t really an answer at all. “I mean – I’m fine, thank you, but I’m sorry that I ran into you.” She gestured with the hand holding the teddy bear. “I found this on the street and I was looking to see if I could find who it belonged to. Every kid should get to keep their teddy bear, y’know?” The Hufflepuff cleared her throat nervously. She wasn’t normally this bad with strangers. Then again, she normally didn’t collide with strangers, either, so she was doing pretty well for the circumstances. Jamie still felt the slightest bit like she was in a movie, though, so she decided to go for full-on awkward and introduce herself. “Hi. I’m Jamie.”

@jamie 119 <3 As soon as the girl began to speak, Elias smiled softly at her. She seemed frazzled and awkward, but he found it slightly humorous. He didn't laugh at her, just smiled. "No worries, darling. It happens." She gestured to the teddy bear and Elias looked down at it; it was only slightly dirty, it didn't look like it had been dropped all that long ago. He figured this was the time to try to make friends, before he got to Hogwarts and everyone realized he was a werewolf and despised him out of fear. "Well, I can help you look if you'd like? I haven't got much else to do. And it's nice to meet you Jamie, I'm Elias." He smiled.

Jamie blinked a little when the other boy called her darling. That definitely wasn’t something she was used to. Still, considering the bumbling, blustering mess she had been just a few seconds before, Jamie wasn’t going to be throwing any stones. “Um, sure, that would be nice.” The Hufflepuff replied when the boy offered to help her look for the owner of the lost teddy bear with her. “And it’s nice to meet you, Elias.” She said with a smile. She supposed now was a good of time as any to ask the question that had been floating around in her head. “Are you visiting England for the summer, Elias?” Jamie asked, trying to start another conversation so they wouldn’t run out of things to say while they were walking.

@jamie 114 <3 Jamie smiled at Elias and he gave her a small smile back, sort of like a smirk. He wasn't sure they'd find the child, but Elias knew he'd be upset if one of his childhood toys went missing and he couldn't see it again. They began to walk down the cobblestone and Jamie asked if he was visiting. With a small chuckle, Elias nodded. "Yes, visiting for the week. I'm actually a 7th year at Durmstrang...we received a letter with out supplies list and we'll be visiting Hogwarts this year." He kept it short and sweet, he didn't want to let too much out as he would definitely get in trouble with his own headmaster.

Jamie had to admit that her curiosity was piqued when Elias said that he was a Durmstang student visiting Hogwarts. That, combined with the fact that they were told to order dress robes, was fairly suspicious, and Jamie couldn’t help but wonder what was going on. “Oh, that’s wonderful!” She said, still clutching onto the raggedy teddy bear whose owner they were searching for. “I’m a seventh year at Hogwarts, so perhaps we’ll see each other there.” She offered with a smile. “My half-siblings also go there, so I can tell them to keep a lookout for you, too.” Jamie added, though she doubted that Max and Adrian would be too thrilled with her volunteering them to be friends with a Durmstang student she barely knew. Oh well – they could suck it up.

@jamie <3 "I'm a 7th year as well! I wonder where we'll be staying when we get there, I'm not sure how big Hogwarts is but we don't have a ton of us coming, maybe about 15 or so..." Jamie went on to mention her half siblings and he became curious. Half siblings? The closest thing Elias had to a sibling was Maria and they definitely did not see each other very often. "Ah, half siblings? What are their names? I'm an only child." He smiled at the blonde girl as they continued walking.

“Yeah, you said.” Jamie said with a small chuckle when Elias added that he was a seventh year, as well. That was what had prompted her to give the information. “We have a lot of dormitory space, so maybe there?” Jamie suggested. She never knew exactly how many extra beds there were in any dorm at once, but she suspected they’d be able to accommodate fifteen extra people with a little bit of shuffling. “Well, I have two older half-siblings, Aaron and Odette, and then two younger half-siblings, Adrian and Max. The younger ones are who you’d be meeting at Hogwarts.” Jamie paused, and then felt like she owed an explanation for why she had so many half-siblings, so she added a clarification. “Our dad is a homicidal werewolf who couldn’t keep it in his pants.” She said, trying to laugh so that it wouldn’t seem so serious.

@jamie 88 <3 He became embarrassed after he realized he said the same thing twice. He chuckled, slightly embarrassed. "Oops!" When she began naming off all of her siblings, Elias was shocked. They were all half siblings. He himself doesn't have any siblings, but when he was young he wished he did. Now, he had Maria and she was just enough for him. However, her next sentence made Elias choke on his own saliva. His eyes widened as he looked at her, and chuckled nervously. "Werewolf, hmm? Is he, a, ah, well-known werewolf?"

Jamie made a concerned noise in the back of her throat when Elias appeared to choke on his own saliva. She knew that feeling all too well, but the fact that his eyes also widened was a bit concerning. Had she said something to surprise him? Apparently so, because he had a follow up question. Jamie felt her stomach start migrating towards her toes as the reality of the situation sunk in. She brought the teddy bear closer to her chest, hoping she would find some sort of comfort in it, even when the object wasn’t hers. “Yes.” She answered slowly. “His name is Fenrir Greyback.” Jamie swallowed, and then decided to go for it. She was pretty sure she was correct, but her voice still quivered when she asked her question. “He’s your dad too, isn’t he?”

@jamie 117 <3 Elias watched Jamie as she clutched the teddy bear closer to her chest. He hoped the answer to his question was not the one that was floating around in his brain. He swallowed nervously once more as she said yes. And then he felt like his heart was exploding. Elias bit his lip as she said it; Fenrir Greyback. Her voice quivered, and his hands shook. Eli took a deep breath, "Unfortunately, yes. Yes he is my dad."
His mind began racing. One...two...three...four...five...five siblings. He felt like he couldn't breathe. He had to sit. Elias walked across the street to a bench. He had his elbows on his knees and put his head in his hands. What was happening?

Well. This was out of left field. Jamie had thought that she had finally made peace with all of her siblings. She had thought that they were actually going to be able to interact as a family, albeit a slightly dysfunctional one. The Hufflepuff thought briefly about the marbles that she still hadn’t gotten around to giving her siblings – she would need to buy another one. Either that, or scrap the marbles idea altogether and start with something new. Jamie barely noticed when Elias crossed the street, but she subconsciously followed him, remaining standing even though her newest half-brother was sitting. “I suppose now would be a bad time to say welcome to the family.” Jamie joked weakly. “I know this is a little overwhelming, but I promise that none of us are like Fenrir. We’re all good people.” Well, they were all trying to be good people, and that had to be good enough.

@jamie 102 <3 Elias wasn't too sure if she had followed him over here or not. He still couldn't even control his thoughts. He rubbed his eyes with the palms of his hands and sat up when he heard her voice. "A little overwhelming?" He hadn't meant to be rude, Elias was never rude. He was probably one of the nicest people you'd ever meet. Eli looked at her. "I can't, Jamie. I'm sorry. I, I need to go." He stood up abruptly and walked away. What he needed right now was Maria. "I'll...see you at school."
