@theodosia 202 <3 It had been a long night. Addilyn and Edmund had a wonderful date, and even though it was wonderful, she was still slightly upset that she wasn't allowed to tell her family that they were finally together. They have been best friends since their first year, but for whatever reason, Edmund is nervous to tell his family. She couldn't decide if that was the truth, or if he was deciding if he was embarrassed about her or not. The latter would be extremely upsetting, and she probably wouldn't speak to him if that was the case.
She had just been walking through the halls, thinking, exhausted. Deciding she needed a little wake up, Addi walked into the nearest bathroom; Moaning Myrtle's Bathroom. She was so tired she hadn't been paying any attention, and when she walked in she went over to a sink and ran the water. Looking at herself in the mirror, she was nit picking herself on what Edmund might not like about her. She shut her eyes and began washing her face with the water, hoping it would wake her up a bit. She stood up more, shut off the water, and grabbed a towel to dry her face.

Theodosia made a point of avoiding Moaning Myrtle’s bathroom. She felt bad for the girl (she really didn’t) but after sixty years of being dead, you really had to let it go and stop moaning. Theodosia did make a point, however, of inflicting as much pain as possible upon the less worthy denizens of Hogwarts. Highest on that list of unworthy people was Edmund Windsor, but just beneath him was Addilyn Slater, so when Theo saw the other girl entering the otherwise ill-used bathroom, she decided to follow. There no one would be witness to Theodosia’s teasing; it was always better when she knew that she wouldn’t be punished for telling the truth.
“Hello, darling.” Theodosia said as she sauntered into the bathroom. “Are you trying to wash all of the ugly off your face?” She asked innocently when she saw that Addilyn was splashing water on her face. “Because let me tell you, it’s not working all that well.” Theodosia refused to lean on the wall of such a disgusting place, so instead she planted herself firmly in front of the door, cutting off Addilyn’s escape route.

@theodosia 158 <3 Addilyn heard foot steps behind her, but ignored it. However she probably shouldn't have, as the person who entered the bathroom behind her was not someone she had ever hoped to see one on one. Theodosia. She hadn't been aware up until a few days ago how rude the girl actually is...especially to Edmund. And when someone isn't nice to Edmund, Addi most likely isn't nice to you. It made her blood boil even looking at her, but as of right now, she wasn't going to do anything too horrible.
She rose a brow at the girl and began folding the towel. "Hello, Theodosia..." Addi trailed off, completely ignoring what she had said to her. She knew she wasn't ugly, and Theo's opinion of her was completely not important to Addi. She was just a rotten little girl who went around trying to hurt everyone she could. Addi didn't stand for such immaturity, nor would she feed into it.

What was up with these kids and not responding to her taunting? She could have sworn that they were a lot more hot-headed than this. Maybe their self-control had improved over the summer or something. In any case, Theodosia had all the time in the world – she had the entire year to grind them down and find their deepest insecurities. Until then, she had no problem with generalized insults. Maybe she would just blunder into something when she was flapping her tongue that would work. “Such a shame that you’re hiding in the bathroom, Addi.” Theodosia said, shaking her head. “Are you getting dating tips from Myrtle? Not a good idea, Addi. At least Myrtle’s accepted that no boy is ever going to want to give her the time of day. You’d be much better off if you realized the same thing.” The best part about that insult was there was no way to turn it back on Theo herself. She didn’t like boys, so saying that they weren’t interested in her was like trying to shoot someone with a marshmallow gun – pointless.

@theodosia 151 <3 Addilyn looked at the girl and rolled her eyes. Doesn't she have anything better to do? "I wasn't hiding, I was washing my face. However I don't see why I need to explain myself to you." Addi turned back around and made a face. She rubbed her eyes in the mirror again and finally turned and leaned up against the sink, watching Theodosia.
Her next few words definitely struck a nerve in Addi. Had it not been for Edmund actually telling her he had feelings for her, Addilyn never really thought any boy would like her, not Kyle and especially not Edmund. She glared at Theo. "What's it matter to you, Theodosia? You interested?" Addi smirked. She hated being mean to people, absolutely hated it. And yet, Theo was an exception. She was a cruel girl and Addi couldn't imagine why anyone would even want to be friends with a person like her.

Theodosia gave Addilyn a smile when the other girl rolled her eyes. Even being a minor annoyance was better than being ignored. It was a step in the right direction. “You don’t need to do anything for me, darling.” Theodosia said, over-enunciating the last word in a manner that made it clear that she didn’t think Addilyn was darling at all. “But it’s polite to respond to people when they talk to you. You know, I was having the exact same conversation with Eddiebear the other day, he seemed just as confused about it as you do. I’d say you’re two peas in a pod, but I actually like peas, so…” Theodosia trailed off.
The Slytherin couldn’t help but laugh when Addilyn asked if she was interested in the other girl. Right gender, at least, but Theo would never let that show on her face. “As if I’d actually be interested in a half-blood.” Theodosia said with a smirk. “At least you’re not a Mudblood, though. That would be absolutely unbearable.” Theo paused, then smiled at Addilyn again. “Hey, isn’t Edmund one of those? Even if I didn’t know by his last name, I can sniff a Mudblood out from a mile away. All you have to smell for is body odor and disappointment.”

@theodosia 154 <3 Addilyn laughed out loud. She couldn't care less whether Theodosia expected her to respond to her or not. And polite? Does this girl not listen to the words that come out of her mouth before she speaks? Goodness gracious, what a bimbo. And although she brought up Edmund, and called him, ugh, 'Eddiebear', she still just stared at her, completely unphased.
She scrunched up her nose. Really? Was this girl serious? Who cares about blood status anyways, people where people. And then, she brought up Edmund again. Addilyn's blood boiled, and her face began turning red. "I don't care who you think you have to make fun of, or bully your way into making you feel better about yourself, but leave Edmund alone. He has never done anything to you, so go bully some other kid."

Aha. Maybe her other insults had been slightly ineffectual, but Theodosia had finally touched on a sore point with Addilyn. She’d have to remember this for next time, because there would most certainly be a next time. Theo laughed again when Addilyn dared to say that she made fun of people to feel better about herself – that was the exact opposite of what was happening. She already knew she was better, hence why she could go around flinging insults without feeling the tiniest grain of guilt. “I wasn’t being mean to Eddiebear.” Theo said with a fake pout. “In fact, I was being quite nice! I even inquired after the health of his family and everything. You’ll be happy to know his father is doing quite well.” Theodosia smiled. He was doing quite well for someone who was dead, that was certain.

@theodosia <3 Addilyn couldn't even understand this girl. What kind of person was she? And then Addilyn scoffed at her comment about Edmund's father. Was she bloody serious? Really? Addi was positive Theo knew Ed's dad had passed away. Addi couldn't even comprehend this girl. "You are something else, Theodosia. Good bye." Addilyn waved her hand at her and turned around and began washing her hands.

Theodosia shook her head when Addilyn tried to dismiss her. That wasn’t how this whole thing worked. You didn’t just get to tell someone who was trying to point out all your flaws to leave, especially when you had no way to escape the situation other than by making the other person walk away. “You see, Addi, you’re telling me goodbye, but I’m still here.” Theodosia took a step away from the door. “And I still have more to say to you, so you’d best listen.” Theo took a deep breath, planted her feet in the ground, and crossed her arms across her chest. “I just wanted you to know that while I am something else, you are nothing more than average. No one likes you, Addilyn, not even that pathetic slob you call your best friend, because no one likes people who are average.”

@theodosia 81 <3 Addi chuckled, still turned away from Theodosia. This girl really was something else, and it would be a waste of Addilyn's time to keep standing here. However, she really didn't have a choice unless Theo decided to get out of her way. So, Addilyn shut off the sink water and walked over to an empty area and sat down. She sighed, pretending like she was upset, and just stared at Theo in boredom. "You really shouldn't talk that way about yourself, Theodosia."

Theodosia actually couldn’t believe how immature Addilyn’s response was. Weren’t they a little bit old for the ‘I know you are, but what am I?’ mentality? Theodosia had outgrown that one before Hogwarts had even started, and here was a fifteen year old girl still using that as a way to attempt to insult people. “How much more immature can you get, Addilyn?” Theodosia asked with a sigh. “I knew that you were a crybaby but I didn’t know you had the social skills of a kindergartener.” Theo pulled her wand out of the pocket of her robe, and then pointed it at the tap at the sink nearest to where Addilyn was sitting on the floor. “Confringo.” She said calmly. The tap burst off and water began pouring out of the hole. “Now say you’re sorry.”

@theodosia 114 <3 She raised an eyebrow at her. Her anger was rising, but she was trying her hardest to stay calm. She couldn't do anything too horrible, Edmund asked her not too. But Theo was just intolerable and clearly didn't understand that Addilyn didn't care what she had to say, it wasn't important to her. What angered her was her persistence, it was childish. And then, she took her wand out and burst the pipes next to Addi. She got sprayed, and she immediately stood up and walked away from that sink. "I won't be apologizing to a child, Theodosia." Addilyn grabbed her own wand from her robe pocket, prepared for whatever was going to happen next.

“Well, if you’re not going to apologize, then I suppose we’re going to get a little wetter, aren’t we?” Theodosia said with a predatory smile. She pointed her wand at the next closest tap, and cast the Blasting Curse again. It, too, burst, and another jet of water joined the first in wetting the floor. It was beginning to get slick from all of the water, which was exactly what Theodosia wanted. Now if Addilyn tried to run, she wouldn’t be able to get any purchase on the tile floor. “Can’t take a little water, Addi dear?” Theo teased, smile growing even wider. She cast a protective charm on herself, just in case Addilyn tried anything, before leveling her wand at Addilyn. “Petrificus Totalis!” She said quietly, hoping that no one would be passing by the bathroom. If she got caught, then she'd...be in a lot of trouble, to say the least.

@theodosia 98 <3 Addilyn shook her head. Her shoes and the bottoms of her robes were now soaked. Theodosia was absolutely trying to ruin everyone's lives, and Addi couldn't stand it any longer. She pointed her wand at the first broken pipe, "Finite incantatem." She whispered, before carrying on to the next pipe and saying it again. So, the water stopped, but it was still drenching her feet. "Are you done n-" Addi's words stopped. She was frozen, fortunately for Theodosia and her rotten heart. She felt flat on her back, into a large puddle of water. Gosh could this get any worse?
