@axel <3 It had been almost a month since school had started and Chloe felt like she hadn't seen Axel this entire time. Maybe her brother was very much into his studies, but at the same time she doubted that. Yes, he was intelligent, but being his fourth year, and having all this excitement buzzing around him, Chloe knew he was most likely out having fun with friends.
Chloe was making her way up the stairs to the first floor. She wasn't sure where he would be, but if she had to search the entire school, she would. Her eyes glanced back and forth, her professor robes trailing behind her. Raising an eyebrow at a noise, she turned to see her brother at the top of the stairs. "Oh! Axel! Long time no see." Chloe smiled gently at him.

Axel was wandering down from the common room. He had a free period and wasn't sure exactly what he was going to do. So he decided to wander around. He was sure that eventually he would run into someone. He almost made it to the first floor before he saw someone he wanted to talk to. "Chloe!" He exclaimed when he recognized his older sister. "I can't believe I haven't seen you all year yet. How are you?" He thought he might as well get the formalities over with before he really talked with her. "Also, it was the Triwizard Tournament! I can't believe you kept that a secret from me!!" He accused with a broad smile on his face.

@axel <3 Chloe grinned brightly at her brother. He seemed just as excited as she was! She laughed. "I'm great! Not too stressed out, classes have been going pretty easy. This group of sixth years are quite respectful, surprisingly." Chloe laughed more when he mentioned the tournament. "Yup! I'm sorry I kept it a secret, but I know you wouldn't have been able to keep it to yourself!"

Chloe seemed just as happy to see him as he was to see her and Axel was glad. At least she wasn't annoyed that he stopped her in the middle of whatever she was doing. "I'm glad you're liking your sixth years," he responded, mostly to be polite. Of course, he was glad they weren't being rude or anything, but he wasn't expecting them to be either. "I can't wait until I'm in your class," Axel commented wistfully.
His mouth dropped open at his sister's accusation. Granted, she might be right, but he would've tried to keep it in. "I can't believe you said that! I could so have kept it a secret! You just don't trust me," he argued with a glare he knew she'd recognize was fake. It was a rare occasion when Axel was actually angry with his older sister, but he could pretend, right?

@axel <3 "Don't grow up too fast, Axel. Enjoy the years now before they're gone." Sometimes Chloé wished she was still in school.
Her eyebrows rose at her brother's reaction, and she let out a laugh. "Sure you would've, Ax!"

Axel rolled his eyes and then grinned at his sister when she told him to enjoy his time in school before it was gone. "Yeah, yeah. Come on Chloe, you've got to make up your mind. Sometimes you're telling me not to grow up, others to grow up slowly, and even though you don't say it, I bet you can't wait for me to be old enough to be in your class." His grin turned mischievous. "Besides, I thought you didn't want me to have too much fun in school," he teased, knowing that she understood his inference. If he didn't think he'd get in a lot of trouble from her and his parents, Axel would be much more wild in school. He loved pulling pranks, but having his sister there made if difficult for him to have as much fun as he wanted.
He made a face at her, "I can do anything I set my mind to. Aren't you always telling me that?" he asked, his tone somewhat sarcastic. Mostly now he was just in a mood to push her buttons. And the easiest way to do that was quoting her words at her. He smirked.

@axel <3 Chloe gave her brother a look and shook her head at him. "I do not have to make up my mind! I always wanted you to stay little, but I can't. So I suppose you growing up is okay...even though I still don't want you to!" She pushed out her lower lip in a sad face, but couldn't keep it that way as she laughed. "But yes, I am excited for you to be in my class, Axel. And no, I don't want you to have too much fun! That's what causes problems." Of course, he could have fun. But he better be damn smart about it.
"I am, and you can. But some things are just too good to keep secret, we both know that." Chloe winked at her youngest brother. If her sister had told her something as great at the Triwizard Tournament was coming to Hogwarts, she wouldn't have been able to keep it quiet either.

Axel made another face at his sister, "Yeah yeah, sorry but I'm not gonna stop. I happen to like getting older, for your information. Things are way more fun now than they were when I was a first year." He grinned slyly, "So as long as I'm being sneaky enough to keep you out of the loop, I'm doing good, right?" Axel was almost positive that his older sister would not agree with him, but he couldn't help himself from teasing her. It was one of his favorite past times.
"Whatever. I see what's really going on here. You just don't trust me," he accused in a falsely innocent and hurt tone. There was no way she would fall for it.

@axel <3 "I'm sure things are more fun, that's why I'm worried, Axel." Chloe tried to hide a smirk from her youngest brother. He was definitely a smart kid, and he knew what he was doing and getting himself into. And although Chloe knew no matter what she said, he'd still do it, she just wanted him to know she'd be watching. "Yeah...I suppose. So keep me out of it!"
Chloe didn't think that was her giving him her acceptance of breaking rules, so she assumed what she had said was okay. Letting out a loud laugh at her brother, she nodded her head and crossed her arms. "Oh, of course, Axel. I'm so sorry!"

Axel grinned again. Time to make his sister a little anxious. "Don't worry about it Sis. I've been having fun and you haven't caught me yet so far, so I'm doing pretty good." Not exactly. He hadn't done anything yet this year, but why not make her sweat it out? As her younger brother, it was his job to make her worried about him and what he was doing, right?
He couldn't help it. He fake glared at her for a minute and then rolled his eyes. "Yeah, whatever. You're probably just keeping all kinds of secrets from me. Apparently it's not hard to do that," he accused lightly. He wasn't really upset, but he was bored. When he got bored, his mind tended to think of ... different ways of making things interesting.

@axel <3 Chloe let her eyes narrow at her youngest brother. He was definitely up to something, and she had to remember to let her coworkers know to watch him closely from this year on. She didn't want him getting into too much trouble; he had always been such a sweetheart and she wasn't going to let him turn into some crazy teenager. "Watch yourself, Axel! I've got people." Chloe couldn't help but laugh as she gave her brother a small wink.
She rolled her own eyes and sighed at her brother. Of course Axel was kidding, Chloe just didn't have anything to say on the subject. She did keep things to herself, but they were things a fourteen year old boy did not need to know. "How is school? You enjoying your classes?" Chloe wasn't sure what he had signed up for, but she knew he wouldn't dare pick anything he didn't enjoy.

Axel narrowed his eyes at his sister. "Really? You're going to sick your fellow teachers on me?" he asked sarcastically. Actually though, he was nervous. He didn't want everyone watching his every move. Sure, he wasn't doing anything right now, but with the Triwizard Tournament going on this year he was sure to get himself into some type of mischief. He didn't want everyone watching him, waiting for that moment.
He shrugged, "Yeah, school is good. And I do like my classes. It's a lot more work than last year though. I don't really like that," he confessed. Surely she'd understand how teachers gave more and more work to do as the year progressed. She had to go through the same thing when she was in school, he was sure.

@axel <3 Chloé grinned at her brother. Of course she really wasn't going to make her co-workers watch his every move no matter how she was curious. Chloé knew it was like to want and have your own privacy and she wasn't going to ruin that for Axel.
Axel explained the homework situation and she nodded her head, her blond hair falling around her shoulders. "Well, don't expect much else for the next few years, bud." She had a pretty high stress level when it came to her work, but Chloé knew Axel would be okay.

Axel rolled his eyes, "I know, I know. It only gets harder for the OWLs and then for the NEWTs. That doesn't mean I have to like it though." He grinned mischievously at his older sister, "but don't worry, I'll make sure I pass."
He shrugged, wanting to get off the conversation of school. "So I finally found you in the middle of the day. What do you want to do?"

@axel <3 Chloe couldn't believe how sarcastic Axel had become. He was definitely growing up, and although it made her sad, she smiled. It was sort of a bittersweet moment, remembering him when he first began to talk, and walk, and now here he was, fourteen years old, more than halfway done with school, and it reminded Chloe just of how much she truly loved him. "You better pass, bugaboo." She whispered the last part; it had been her nickname for him ever since he was born and she had never stopped calling him it.
"It's up to you! We can do whatever, I'm not picky. Is there something you want to do or go see?" Her eyebrow rose. There of course wasn't much they could do at Hogwarts besides spend time together, and Chloe was sure it wasn't a Hogsmeade day.
