Maxima hadn't anticipated that the GSA meeting would last for very long, though it seemed even shorter than she had expected it would be, once people had gotten to share their experiences. Fortunately, there hadn't been any of that awkward clapping and whatnot that seemed to occur support groups in Muggle television shows; Cecelia had just dismissed them in the way that they might have been dismissed from class.
As Jamie got up to leave, Max felt a tap on her arm. Her half-sister said that she would be in the Hufflepuff Common Room, although she invited her to come and find her if she wanted to eat dinner with her.
“Alright,” Max replied plainly, though she didn't mind sitting with the other Slytherins. If Zaire's abrupt exit was any indication, no one would care too much about small talk, and she could slip in and out, unnoticed, the way she usually did.
Following not far behind Jamie, Max left the Charms classroom, too. If she stayed behind, she might have to make conversation with Georgie and Louis, and she wasn't in the mood for that.

Well, that was an abrupt end to the meeting. Georgie watched warily as Maxima interacted with her sister, waiting for the other girl to exit the room so that she would be sure not to run into each other when they departed. It felt like an eternity to wait, even though Georgie knew it must not have been longer than a minute or two. When Maxima finally did exit, though, Georgie stood up abruptly and marched out of the door without so much as looking at anyone else in the room. She didn't know why even being in the same room as Max made her blood boil, but it did, and no one deserved the fury of a Linley scorned. She's go back to her dorm and then she'd cool of there, before she did anything she regretted.

When Cecelia dismissed everyone from the meeting, Tatiana held back, waiting until she saw that nobody else had gone over to Cecelia to do so herself. Although she hadn't said much about coming out, saying something on the subject and hearing others' thoughts had been reassuring.
Tania knew that she shouldn't have felt intimidated by Cecelia, who was one of Gryffindor's two Beaters, but she took a deep breath before approaching. She had spoken to her earlier, even, before the meeting had begun. Now, something scared her. Cecelia seemed so knowledgeable.
“Cecelia?” she began, stepping over to her. “Thanks. Again.” She smiled. “I know you've probably got somewhere to be, but I… just wanted to say how much the meeting meant to me. I wasn't expecting so many people to come, and… it's nice not to feel alone.”

Well, this meeting was a wash. Not only had she heard nothing other than people complaining about how sad their lives were, now she had to think of a good lie to tell Zaire about why she had been there in the first place. The GSA was doing more harm than good, as far as Theodosia was concerned. She didn’t bother to look at Lucy as she got up to leave. Theodosia was more concerned with damage control than commiserating about the stupidity of the entire situation, and getting to Zaire sooner rather than later seemed to be the best course of action, at least at this point. Theodosia spared no one a second glance as she breezed away, down the hall and towards the Slytherin common room.

The meeting was over already? Xan thought she must have fallen asleep or something, because the meeting felt extremely short. well, that was of no matter. It was probably for the better, actually, as long as she could find a way to get back to the hospital wing without keeling over or getting dizzy. Xan took a deep breath to steel herself, and then slowly stood up. She still didn't feel the best, but the brief respite that sitting had provided was probably enough to keep Xan from seriously injuring herself on her return to the hospital wing. Maybe she'd meet someone along the way who could help her the rest of the way...Even so, Xan was fine. She was fine.

Lysander found himself with a surprising amount of information to mull over. Apparently there was significance behind the colors in the cookies, which he was going to have to research. And he was also going to have to research the phenomenon that was the spectrum of sexuality, especially since his was still relatively unhoned. He had always known he liked boys, but perhaps there was something more than that? Sander's Ravenclaw side was already drawing him to the library, and since there wasn't anyone else in the meeting that he was particularly close to that he needed to say goodbye to, Sander decided to simply follow the rest of the people out of the door, peeling off so that he could go begin his study.

Viola had been planning to stick around after the GSA meeting was over, but now, that didn't seem like such a good idea. Max had left the room like a bat out of hell, followed by a blonde who looked ticked to be alive, let alone breathing the same as Maxima was. There was a story there, but Viola was too lazy to try to look for it - now. Maybe eventually. Considering she didn't know anyone else at the meeting, it was pointless to sit around and schmooze, so Viola got up, brushed any stray crumbs off of her desk, lifted her hand in farewell to the handful of students that were still milling around, and then took her leave.

If all of the rest of the GSA's meetings were going to be as ridiculously pointless as this one had been, Lucy thought to herself, she wasn't sure if she wanted to come back. Unlike her sister Desirae, Cecelia Rousseau certainly couldn't hold anyone's attention for very long, even while trying far too hard to be good at it. Most of the students there—including Theodosia and Zaire—seemed just as bored out of their minds as she, while others, such as the youngest Krum girl, were eating up every word.
Theodosia had left the classroom in a hurry, not that Zaire had stayed around for more than a minute after Cecelia had dismissed them. Seeing that the baby Krum was trying to engage Cecelia in conversation, Lucy simply nodded at the Gryffindor.
She found herself leaving the room behind the sole Durmstrang student who had come, though she brisked past her as soon as she got the opportunity, going back down to the Slytherin Common Room. Hopefully, Theodosia was there; the two of them would have fun complaining about how terrible the meeting had been, at least.

It wasn't a very long meeting but Liona wasn't complaining. She was sure that the meetings later in the year would be full of information and conversation. For now she would appreciate the fact that she had some time before she needed to do something else. Like homework. She had become bored with the topic only because, again, she didn't feel like coming out was a necessity. Listening to some of the other students' stories had made the meeting a little more interesting but not by a lot. Once Cecilia successfully dismissed everyone and a few people were already rushing out the door, she got her things together, smiled and nodded at those who were remaining before she made her way out of the Charms classroom. She was curious what Cecelia had planned for the rest of the school year.
