You know what would have made lunch better? If you had actually let me pay! So, when we go again this time it’s on me. Hogwarts is fine, the Triwizard Tournament is happening this year; I think you would have made the perfect champion had you decided not to go and graduate last year.

i think it was perfect the way it was. lunch will never be on you susan, my parents would have a blue fit if they found out i didn't pay on a date. i know! i was so dissapointed when i heard it was happening this year, but still it will be an amazing show to watch. thanks, i'm sure you would have made a good champion too.

it's going well, i think. i haven't been fired yet so that's always a good sign! i'm waiting to hear whether we'll be stationed at hogwarts encase of emergency with the events.

Oh, so we're calling it a date now?  I suppose I'm alright with that  If you insist on paying for meals then at LEAST let me do something chivalrous like...hold the door open for you.  I don't know, I'll think of something!  Perhaps next time we can take on somewhere that's not full of sick and injured people ha ha.

You might be stations at Hogsmeade?  That would be fun; your friend Finn Jordan is actually one of the Aurors stationed here this year!  You will let me know if you do get to come here won't you?  Otherwise, I'll be home for part of December break; the Yule Ball is happening at Hogwarts of course, so I'm staying for that.

yes. we'll call it a date. okay, i'll let you hold a door open for me. just once though. i'll only let you do it once. i have a better place in mind for a next date but you won't get to find out till we go. alright?

finn is keeping me updated on the goings on at hogwarts, though he seems to be a little preoccupied with someone to have written me back in the last few days, so if you see him, tell him i'm waiting on him. as soon as i know when i'll be in hogsmeade or have a day off i'll let you know. oh the yule ball, has anyone asked you to it yet?

You're lucky I love surprises, so I won't pry...unless you feel like giving me a teensy weensy hint?  And Finn is distracted by my lovely housemate Dominique Weasley.  They are adorable so you'll simply just need to forgive him for that!  No, nobody has asked me to the Yule Ball yet; my friend Sander said he'd take me, but I am trying to get him and RJ to declare their everlasting love to each other so hopefully they'll go together.  A real shame though; I'm quite the amazing dancer.  It helps that I've taken lessons since I could walk I guess.  What are your dance skills like?  I feel like they'd be something to watch.

okay i can forgive him for that, the attention of a beautiful lady always has to come first. well keep trying. it's such a pity only students and ministry people get to attend the ball. they often forget about us hard working healers behind the scenes. my dance skills? they wouldn't hold a candle to yours i'm sure. i was born with two left feet and one for good measure. i'd probably crush your toes if we dances. and crushed toes would be no fun.

Well perhaps this year they’ll realize they need actual mediwizards on hand in case anyone...faints from heat exhaustion or something so you can attend and then steal me away for a dance or two time permitting. I can assure you I am an excellent teacher; I taught my brother the finer points of ballroom dance and I’m sure you can’t be any worse than him! 

You know, there’s a Hogsmeade trip coming up soon. If you happened to be in the area, I might so happen to be in the village around one in the afternoon. You know, if coincidentally we happen to be there at the same time, it’d be nice to see you.

well rather than a chance meeting, why don't we agree to meet. say 11.30 in front of the cafe with all the hearts? i'll buy lunch and i can show you the surprise place i have in mind.
