@river Beginning of November The Forbidden Corridor. It sounded exciting. Also, the English used exciting words like corridor. Who even said that anymore? Apparently, the Brits. She found herself wandering around the school, looking for potential places where she could "rescue" someone. If anyone asked, she would say she was lost, though that excuse wasn't going to work much longer, unless she wanted to establish herself a girl with no sense of direction... which could work. But not for everyone. She wandered through the stairways, passing the spot where she had met with River a few weeks prior. She hadn't seen much of the boy since, but a traitorous part of her wanted. Not Maddox, Maddox would be fine if they never saw him again. However, Sim found herself smiling as she looked at the spot. She didn't let herself linger, she didn't want Maddox to grow angry. They didn't need a fight right now. It didn't take long for her to get to the third flood. There were several "legal" places to go here, but none of those interested Sim. She wanted to see the Forbidden Corridor. And so she started to walk toward it. She paused, hearing a staircase come into place behind her. That wasn't what caused her to freeze though, it was the sound of footsteps on those stairs. She prepared her innocent face and waited.

River had just about had enough of Vi. They had discussed the Yule Ball today and figured that of course they'd be going together, that's what their parents expected of them, wasn't it? It wasn't a romantic conversation in any way, which was fine with River, but she could have at least acted a little less bored with the idea. But, let's be honest, Vi was always acting bored.
So, River was just leaving that oh-so-lovely conversation. He hadn't decided where to go next and was mostly just wandering. The more he wandered the more he started to seethe at the thought of Vi. Was he really doing the right thing by going through with this? She didn't give a darn about him and he sure didn't want to waste his time with someone who'd never love him... He didn't even think he could ever love her.
He growled under his breath, frustrated with himself for even thinking about leaving her. This was his parents wish, and he wasn't going to break that. He needed to follow through. He needed to-
Then he saw her, at the top of the stairs right outside the third corridor. Something overcame him, something coming from that place of anger toward Vi, that place of loneliness, that place of hate toward his duty.. wherever it came from, River got to the top of the stairs and grabbed the back of Sims head, pulling her toward him into a kiss.

@river As it turned out, her innocent face was not needed. She started to turn around, but she was suddenly being pulled toward someone. There was enough of a gap between the two that Sim made out River's face before his lips connected with hers. 'NO, this is not okay!' Maddox screamed. But the voice didn't seem so shrill, didn't even seem to matter at the moment. She could deal with Maddox later. The initial kiss faded and Sim opened her eyes. She was suddenly hungry for more, there was a fire in her, and her gaze seemed almost predatory. She grabbed the front of River's shirt in her fist and yanked him closer to her, pressing her lips hungrily against his. Her hands traveled over him, eventually getting knotted in his hair. The stairway seemed to withdraw as they drew farther back into the hallway, away from prying eyes, into forbidden passages. ||MAZE DIRECTION:RIGHT #1||

At first, once he'd realized what he'd done, he didn't think she was going to kiss him back. Then she was. Then she was kissing him back. They broke apart for a moment and they looked at each other... she looked like she was going to eat him. Then, she did practically just that. She grabbed his shirt and their lips met again, and River didn't hesitate. He caught his breath between kisses as best he could, but it was almost useless. His hands were getting lost on her body, her hair, her face wherever they could reach. They disappeared into the forbidden corridor, but he didn't bother to correct their path.
The lights seemed to disappear along with his inhibitions and they were soon backed into a corner between pillars, gasping for air and holding each other closer then River had ever held anyone. Heck, River had never even kissed anyone. Was this what it was like for everyone? Like your senses caught fire?

@river The time passed, and Maddox was quiet, for now. But it was getting late. Sim pressed her lips to River's, slowing her passion. She pulled away slowly, but leaned in for one more kiss. Taking a breath while her lips were on his, she sighed, a slight smile on her face. Then she pulled away, taking several steps back. "Thanks, Riv." she said with a grin, pressing both hands to her lips and blowing him a kiss. She turned away from him and started walking down the hall, a little bounce in her step. "Don't worry," she called over her shoulder. "I won't tell Vi."

And then she was gone, like nothing had even happened. I won't tell Vi. Those words echoed loudly in his ears as he leaned back against he wall, catching his breath. What had he done?
---
Two days later, he was walking past that same corridor when he saw her and he stopped, catching his breath. He looked down, attempting to avoid her eye contact as he started to walk past her but... was that even possible? To walk past her? She was... well, like a magnet. He was almost home free when he heard her breath and he looked up, his eyes finding hers.
Dang. He was busted. There was no way he could keep walking now.

@river Sim didn't mean to meet him. Well, Maddox didn't mean for them to meet. But destiny got it's own way more often than not. As it did today. Sim was just walking to class, passing the third floor corridor, when she saw him. He was obviously trying not to look at her. She was going to make sure that failed. As she got closer to him, she breathed in, sharply, seductively, blowing it out on him. River's eyes met hers, and she gave him a huge smile. Then grabbed his tie and pulled him into the shadows of the third floor corridor. Her lips found his, forcefully kissing him, pressing him against the wall. As she pulled away, she smirked at him before going back in for more.

She gave him that signature smile and soon he was being dragged by his tie, back into that corridor where they had first kissed. He got lost in her, again and again, forgetting all of his problems and his past. Forgetting that he still hadn't mended things with his best friend Liv, that he hadn't spoke to Vi in days, that he had no idea what was going on with Dusti at all right now. They had fairly made up about their past problems but they hadn't really caught up since then. He'd been to lost in his head and when he wasn't lost there he was lost with Simralin Jones, kissing her softly and fiercely all at the same time. Pulling her hair, stroking her cheek, flattening her hands against the wall, releasing them gently... it was like he'd done this a thousand times. Every time they stumbled into this they became more and more in sync, and he was sure that it was the only thing in his life that he sort of knew what he was doing- even though he didn't know at all.
One day, sometime before breakfast even, they had found each other again in that same spot. During one of their breaks for air, River, stepped back, hands on her shoulders, pushing her back against the wall away from him. "Just calm down for a second," he demanded, looking down at the floor.
@simralin (btw, this post implies that this has happened SEVERAL times in one post XD)

@river Their third floor rendevouz were... often. Anytime they would meet, Sim, and sometimes River, would make sure they had a few minutes (which sometimes stretched out a little longer than that) to spend in their favorite forbidden corridor. Maddox was growing used to it, and didn't complain as much as in times past. That was a nice change. Sometimes, Sim even thought Maddox liked it. Today, Sim had cooerced him into one of the empty classrooms, leaving the door ajar as they stumbled in. She was just thinking of how this could get even better when River pulled away, stopping her advances with a hand on either of her shoulders. With the moment officially ruined she casually leaned against the wall and folded her arms, an eyebrow lifted. "If you're going to talk to me, look at me." she demanded without emotion in her voice. He had this habbit of acting shy. She knew he was trying to get over that, she might as well help him out. "Besides," she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed his lips once before pulling back slightly. "Slow is no fun."

He knew that she'd be annoyed, but that wasn't his problem right now. He needed to take a breath and really consider what was happening right now. She demanded that he look at her if he was going to talk to her and he looked up, glaring. "What if I didn't want to talk?" he said sharply. But then she was wrapping her arms around his neck and kissed him, claiming that slow was fun. He almost leaned back in but he convinced himself to lean back insted.
That took a lot of effort.
"Just let a guy breathe for once, freaking hell Sim," River wasn't one to swear, so for a moment his eyes widnened, but then he just went back to slightly glaring at her, "plus, you have lungs too. Use them."
