He was making jokes, and laughing. Ev wasn't sure how to respond. He might not think hitting his head was a big deal, but she knew that it could cause serious damage. Though she wanted him to be fine. She didn't want him to be seriously injured. "I'm not entirely sure about that argument," she said softly, more to herself than anything else, but she wasn't sure if he heard her or not. Hopefully not.
When she said that she'd go with him, he looked down at himself, which was when Ev realized that they were still in their Quidditch uniforms. They should probably change before going out. Apparently he was thinking the same thing, as he asked her to choose where they should go and started taking off his pads. "I- I don't go out for drinks. Like, ever. I don't know any places," she admitted, surprised when her cheeks felt a little hot. Was she blushing? No! Ev didn't blush. She wasn't ever emotionally involved with anything enough to blush. "Uh, you can choose," she said before taking a few steps back. "I'm, I'm going to go get ready. I'll be back in a few minutes," she added before turning around and quickly escaping the room. Was she really going to go back? Or maybe she should just go home and hide.
It didn't take Evelyn a long time to get ready, but she was still trying to decide what she wanted to do. Did she really want to go get a "drink" with a perfect stranger? A cute stranger, perhaps, one that made her heart race for sure. Still, did she want that kind of confusion in her life? She stood outside the door to the lockers, trying to make up her mind. A large part of her said she should just walk away, but another small part of her wanted her to see where this went. Oh boy, this guy was dangerous.
