@hermionejean Xavier didn't pace, he just stood waiting. His aunt was coming to Hogwarts today. It wasn't for a meeting, to inspect something, or even to give an award. No. It was to give him dance lessons. The Yule Ball was coming up in just a few weeks and Xavier wanted to surprise Liv with dancing. It was a stupid idea, but he had made the mistake of asking his Aunt about it and... well here he was. Hermione Weasley wasn't late, Xavier was just early. And nervous. Dancing was not something he felt good about. He had read several books on the subject, yet when he tried he just felt like a fool. With his aunt teaching him... he may just feel like more of a fool, however it was for Liv. He could look like an idiot for Liv.

Hermione had to admit, she was quite surprised when the owl from her nephew Xavier Weasley flew through the window, but then again perhaps she should not have been. Aside from Ron, Hermione was one of the few people who Xavier seemed to open up to, and now he was dating his aunt’s sisters’ daughter, Lavinia Creevey. Hermione was not the worlds’ best dancer nor did she ever admit to be, but she could certainly teach Xavier the basic waltz steps he’d need to know to not crush Lavinia’s feet.
She walked through the doors of Hogwarts after passing a security sweep and spotted her nephew immediately. “Hello Xavier,” she said, inclining her head in greeting. “Have you secured a spot for us to begin your lessons?” she asked him.

@hermionejean Thankfully, his aunt didn't rush up and hug him in the embarassing manner his mother often did. Honestly, it was like the woman just couldn't act normal for two seconds. He brought himself back to the moment. Answer the question. He was nervous, his thoughts were all over the place, but he focused. "Yes, just down the hall." he said. It wasn't formal, but it wasn't really friendly either. It was just... Xavier. He turned and walked down the hallway and opened a door on the right, entering it and gesturing for his aunt to go in first. You were supposed to act the gentalman when escorting a lady to dance. That much his books had said and he could do without being a total idiot.

Hermione didn’t say anything as Xavier led her down the hall; her nephew had never been much of a talker, or one for emotions, and Hermione respected that. Xavier really only let his guard down around Ron; it was only relatively recent that he had begun warming up to her. She could tell though, that he was nervous - he must really have wanted to impress this girl.
She inclined her head as he held the door open for her to enter the empty room first. Hermione surveyed the room quickly before pointing her wand at the corner. A gramophone appeared, the first chords of a simple waltz piece echoing through the chamber. She turned back to Xavier. “We’ll start simple with a waltz. It’s what the champions open the ball with, then after the first sixteen counts anyone is allowed to join in. So in the end, you’ll want to know the steps,” she instructed. She had helped Viktor open the ball all those years ago; she remembered just how nervous she had felt with everyone looking at her. She’d sleeked back her unruly hair and it had been the first time her shrunken teeth really had felt noticeable.
Shaking out of her memory, Hermione held out her hands to her nephew. “Right, the waltz stance is pretty simple; with your left hand you’ll clasp your partners hand, and you’ll place your right hand on their waist while their hand will rest on your shoulder,” she explained. She raised an eyebrow to him, meaning for him to come forward.
