I'm alright dear, just adjusting to the new position while still retaining some of my old duties as Head of Magical Law Enforcement as we search for a replacement. Normally, your dad is the one who gets to approve or deny applications, you are correct. However in this case I do believe I will be handing your application to one of our other Senior Aurors for review. I do not appreciate or tolerate nepotism swinging either way, and I promise to ensure that you will have your fair shot in the Auror program. Just promise me you won't blow up another tower, okay?

How are you doing anyway; Neville owled me to let me know about you staying at the Leaky Cauldron. I'm supposed to be up at Hogwarts for the First Task of the Tournament, do you want to meet for a coffee either before or after? I can always make time for my nephew.

thanks. i don't know why but i have a feeling that he's not happy about me wanting to become an auror and he might try and stop it. that makes me feel a lot better, so thank you.
well i promise to try, i can't make it a definite thing.

yeah dad and i had this huge fight and i couldn't take living there anymore. him and mum aren't happy about it but it needed to happen. i'd love to meet for coffee if you're sure that you have time. we'll be in hogsmeade the day before the task i think? well that's when one of the sanctioned visits are. i'm sure i'd be allowed out to visit you though.
