Edmund was in a mood. Today was not turning out to be a particularly good day for him and he hated when that happened. Not that anything particular happened to make it bad. He just wasn't at his best. He was trying to do his homework and had to go to the library to find some books that would help him out, but he still couldn't figure out how he wanted to write this essay. So he was messing around, looking at other pointless books and doing whatever he felt so that he didn't have to do his homework. He knew that decision would come to bite him soon, and for that he felt a bit guilty but not enough to make him do what he should. He tured around sharply when he heard someone nearby and then gave a wry smile. This could be a good distraction.

After the lessons that Jasmin had for the day finished, she decided to head to the library to find a book to help with her homework as she was confused with some of the questions.
Her deep rich chocolate eyes scanned the books before spotting Edmund messing with the books, "Oh, it's just you, goodie." Her tone laced with sarcasm as she spoke before resuming her search of the books behind his head before stepping back while speaking, "do you mind moving soon?"
Her arms crossed over her chest as she waited for the Slytherin to move his muscle over so she could get to the necessary items needed for her homework situation. WORD COUNT: ### | OUTFIT: HERE | NOTES: @edmund

Edmund lifted an eyebrow sarcastically at the Gryffindor in front of him. Sure, he and Jasmin had an interesting relationship, but did she really think he was going to move just because she asked if he was going to. He narrowed his eyes to make it look like he was pretending to think things over before shrugging, "You know, I'm actually pretty comfortable here. And finding some interesting titles," he added with a smirk, turning back to the books. Like he was going to do what she wanted just because she had some attitude today. Granted, she normally had attitude and whenever she did, he gave it right back to her, but still. It was the principle of the thing. "You can probably come back in a while and I might be done by then," he called over his shoulder dismissively, though he definitely wasn't expecting her to go anywhere.

@edmund - ### - info info info | Jasmin let out a scoff at his words knowing that he wouldn't leave her be, but she knew that he has a weakness, but didn't want to expose it just yet as she wanted to see him squirm a little. "Oh Edmund, picking on a girl? That's a new low, even for you." She patted his cheek gently as she winked at him as to tease him before looking down to her homework and chuckles slightly as she realized she needed it to be done so she can go to Hogsmeade whenever her mom planned the trip.
"Seriously Edmund, I really need to get the book that's behind your fat head, but if you want to be standing there and not move well I won't move even if you make me." Her brown hues stared him down as she placed her hands on the shelves, slightly trapping him in place but left him a little room to let him escape if he needed it. "It must be hard to think about sassy comebacks with that brain of yours. Eddiekins."
The nickname she gave him made her smile with glee as there friendship was a slightly weird one. Licking her lips slowly as she scanned the room before looking back to him and smiles sweetly, "Well I guess I can't find the books I needed, so I guess you can just owl me when you're done." Her fingers uncurled from the shelves slowly as she wanted to stay, to tease and perhaps rile him up a little, or ruffle his al mighty feathers if you please. |

Edmund rolled his eyes, "I am not picking on you. I am busy. It's not my fault you have no patience," he retorted easily. She patted his cheek and Edmund turned away, facing the books once more. He was not a big fan of physical contact in any form, unless it was with Addi of course. Or someone else he trusted, but most of them knew he didn't like to be touched and respected that. Then again, it was Jasmin so he wasn't really all that surprised.
She got even closer and Edmund was uncomfortable, but he doubted she would understand why. "If I decided to make you move, you most certainly would Jasmin," he responded without missing a beat. If she thought she was scaring him by her proximity she was wrong. A few people could do that- mainly Lily- but Ed refused to admit that even to himself, much less to her. "And what exactly is wrong with my brain?" he asked. What was she talking about? He ignored her odd nickname. She'd never called him that before and he certainly wouldn't mind if she never did again. It was strange.
Ed quirked an eyebrow when she told him to owl her when he was done. "Sorry Jas, you're just going to have to come and find out for yourself when this area is unoccupied. I'll be attending to other things. Might want to hurry though, make sure no one else takes the book you need," he taunted, not even minding if he was really annoying her. This was their odd friendship, both of them just saying whatever popped into their heads and doing the same. It might be strange or different, but Ed didn't care.
