Zita had known the question was going to come even before Thalia asked it. Did she want the captaincy? She allowed herself to finish off the last bit of the small bunch of grapes, giving herself a minute to think about how she wanted to answer the question. The last time she'd given her answer to someone it hadn't ended very well. She'd gotten into... what she considered a debate but what in reality had probably been Zita rudely lecturing Jamie. She'd been blunt with her honesty and in the end Jamie had walked away from her. She didn't want to come off rude again to anyone else, though she didn't think Thalia had any reason to get upset like Jamie did. "I'd be honored to take the position if they offer it to me. I love quidditch, of course so I would happily lead our team next year. I just worry about overloading myself because I have other plans next year too," her comments were made calmly and she thought her answer was good enough to appease anyone. She honestly just looked forward to actually being able to play games again next year, captain or not. Having the tournament interrupt quidditch had been a bummer. Zita grinned at the older girl when she said she'd seen her play though her grin turned into an understanding nod at her final comments. Her dad would know of course, being a professional and all. "I know your parents are, of course, but I wasn't super certain if you were a fan or not. Did you ever think about playing before?" Zita asked curiously? She was in her seventh year now and since she'd been there she hadn't heard anything about her trying out of the team. She'd just always figured that maybe quidditch hadn't been her thing, which was okay too.

[googlefont="Playfair Display"][googlefont="Josefin Sans"] I was broken from a young age Taking my soul into the masses [attr="class","itokaytext"] Thalia watched on and waited for the other girl to answer her back. She was thinking, which meant that a lot of options were being weighed down in her mind, and that was actually a good thing. She knows that some people take up positions of power and authority for granted. And she never likes those kind, one point she could never understand was how they could manage if they don't know ho to. It takes a whole lot than bossing around people, one has to know them all and strive to mae the team a better one. And when Zita did answer, Thalia was rather happy to hear it. She may not be a player, but she sure wants her team to win and besides, her best friend was the current captain after all. "Of course I understand. But I'm glad that you're willing to take it of it comes to that"she said with a smile. And no matter how much she tries to deny it, Thalia was Oliver Wood's daughter and for better or worse she got her father's streak of winning the game no matter what. She just gave a smile when the other one knew her parents. 'Of course they would know. Half of the magical world knows about them' thought Thalia with a shake of her head. As she asked if she thought about playing before, Thalia shook her head and said "nah, one thing I knew from the very eginning was that, no matter how good I am, people will always compare to my parents. And I don't want that, so I chose not to play."And with a smirk she added "but that does not mean that I cannot play. To be honest, I just prefer flying all by myself without worrrying about the game is all."

Zita waited with bated breath for Thalia's response to the answer she given about being captain. When she finally did answer, Zita had to admit that she was disappointed. It was like she'd said nothing about her worry of being overworked. All that mattered was that she was grateful that she'd get the position, that it was important that she take the position. Jamie had kind of set it up that way too and she felt herself getting annoyed all over again about the situation. "Yeah. I guess so," it was the only response she could make. She just wanted to change the subject and not think about it anymore. She still had some time before the end of the year and before they announced who'd be taking over as captain so she didn't need to think about it right away. She nodded in understanding though when the girl mentioned being compared to her parents. She felt bad for her because her words were the truth. Because of her last name, people would compare her playing to her parents' but Zita thought that if she worked hard she could make a name for herself. Even become greater than her parents if she wanted to. "Flying is pretty great. Feeling the wind in your hair and the feeling of freedom that overtakes you. There isn't anything like it in the world," Zita sighed happily just thinking about being on her broom. "Speaking of next year, what do you have planned since you're graduating? Are you moving out of your parents' house right away? Are you excited?" she asked her questions back to back with a smirk on her face. Zita couldn't wait to graduate because she already knew what she wanted to do.

[googlefont="Playfair Display"][googlefont="Josefin Sans"] Feel it on my finger tips, hear it on my window pane [attr="class","itokaytext"] Thalia just smiled at the other girl's response. After all there was lot of time for the announcement of next year captains and as much as she wants to stay away from the game, she always ends up being dragged into it. Definitely time to change the topic she thought and was granted a breathing room when the house elves had popped by and handed her a covered plate. She pointed to Zita and said it's for her not for me, and thanks a lot'.She watched as the elf smiled and nodded and giving it to Zita she said something along the lines of happy to serve the kids which made Thalia smile. She did miss these little elves company she thought with a smile, may be she would drop by the kitchens one day. As Zita began to speak about, Thalia felt herself smile because that was how everyone who enjoys flying feels. And she did enjoy flying, just not the game. As Zita asked about her plans after graduating Thalia frowned.. That was what had kept her awake all this night. But she spoke up slowly "I am going to go into writing or music, not decided on it", it was true, she was still unsure of what to do. There were options from which she could chose and the choice was turning to be a very hard thing. Besides it was not as though she needed a job to earn a living or anything, that gave her a window to relax and think on her future. As she asked about moving out, she shrugged her shoulders a little, as she spoke "well, I don't know if I am going to move out or not, I will be back at home, but after that I don't know. But then again if the girls and I decide on anything .."and trailed off. Now that she thought about it, it was about time her friends all sit together and talk about life after Hogwarts. They should make a night out of it perhaps. One of those sleepovers they all liked quite a lot and had been doing ever since they were first years. "I am excited, yes but sad to leave school also. But then again that is what growing up is all about I guess"said Thalia with a sad smile. She liked Hogwarts a lot and practically her last 6 years revolved around here and she did not know how life would be without a routine she was soo used to.

On of the house elves made a appearance then with a cover plate of food in hand. Thalia motioned the elf towards her and with a smile she thanked the elf for the food. She couldn't just sit and eat it now since they were out of the common room and it was the middle of the night. They might get caught. Actually she was rather surprised that they hadn't gotten caught now with how long they'd sat near the kitchens. With a flick of her wrist at the plate, she banished the plate down the hall towards the common room. She hoped that it made its way inside somehow because she couldn't wait to have a bite of it. She also really hoped none of her roommates touched it just in case they got hungry. Once that was done, she motioned for Thalia to follow her as the older girl talked about her plans after school. Zita saw her frown from the corner of her eye and pursed her lips wondering what it was about. "Perfectly respectable careers," Zita commented with a quick nod and smile, "Write books or write for a paper or magazine? And what type of music would you want to do," Zita listened intently as she went on in detail about how she planned on staying at her parents directly after graduation but she wasn't sure about after that. It wasn't something that Zita had thought much about herself, whether she wanted to continue living with her parents after she graduated or if she wanted to get her own place. Luckily enough she had another year before she had to think about it. She then said she was sad to leave the school. Zita chuckled a bit. "I don't think I'm going to be too sad to leave next year. Not that I don't love this place but I'm just ready to be a mediwitch already," she commented with a chuckle.

[googlefont="Playfair Display"][googlefont="Josefin Sans"] Here's to you and I Raise 'em to the sky [attr="class","itokaytext"] Thalia watched on as Zita banished the plated food, probably to the common room or dorms she thought. Well that was a nice use of the spell in her opinion. While a spell had no definite of being used, they can always be tweaked a little and used for something else. That was what she had always like to learn more and sometimes she used them in her dueling techniques. And considering the nature of her spells ,not many expect her to use them in a duel and that was what was needed in a duel, the unseen moves or what she called divine moves which would leave her one step away from winning or gaining an upper hand. And when the younger girl gestured for her, Thalia nodded and followed. As much as she liked to be outside, there were high chances of them being caught. And considering the time, she knew that no amount of reasoning would be met with understanding.
When Zita asked about her interests, Thalia found herself distracted from her thoughts as she spoke up "not books, I sadly lack the imagination required for it"and while she was good at a few things, some were just not cut out for her and she knew it. "A magazine or paper perhaps"said Thalia with a smile. When asked about music, she just said "i am ore of a singer actually, so anything works fine for me". She never had any preferences to be honest, and that lack of definitive choice was what her parents were worried about. They were not sure that she would be able to work anywhere freely if she was this vague in what she likes and wants. She was much engrossed in her thoughts that she only nodded her head at Zita's words rather than vocally expressing her opinion."That's great to know that you are very much into being a medi-witch"she said with a smile hoping that her delayed response did not put off the girl.

Zita's eyebrows rose slightly when she mentioned that she didn't think she was imaginative enough to be a book writer. Book writing was a bit different from writing magazines but Zita didn't necessarily think one required more imagination. She could be a nonficition writer if she didn't feel she had enough imagination for it. But that was just her opinion; Thalia probably didn't need it. She went on to comment that she'd rather do a magazine or a paper and Zita nodded once again in understanding. She didn't know the Hufflepuff girl too well but she with all of the information she was giving her she was starting to understand her a little bit better. Plus it was just interesting to hear about what some of the older girls were doing once they graduated. Seh brought up the fact that she was a singer and Zita grinned. "Ooh nice. I would ask you to sing but I don't want us to get caught. I'd like to one day though before you leave." That was something she hadn't heard about her. She hadn't seen her perform with the Frog Choir at all so she didn't know that Thalia was able to sing. She thought her own voice was decent enough but it wasn't something she was interested in showcasing. She liked singing in the shower though. Just as Thalia spoke, Zita's brow furrowed. She thought she heard something coming from further down the hallway. She shook it off at first but she heard it a second time. "You hear that right?" she asked Thalia, just to make sure that she wasn't just hearing things. She thought it sounded like footsteps but footsteps didn't just stop suddenly.

[googlefont="Playfair Display"][googlefont="Josefin Sans"] There's a Song in my soul, try and beat it out [attr="class","itokaytext"] At Zita's words about wanting her to sing, Thalia chuckled a bit and said "while any other time I would have gladly accepted, but as you said. Today is not the time and this is not the place". And when she continued that she would like to heat it, which brought a smile to Thalia's face and she nodded her head. "Of course I would sing for you, one day"she said with a smile and a promise in her eyes. She had always liked when people appreciated her skill of singing and in reality it made her feel special. She was not an attention seeker by any means, nor was the type to bask in the limelight, but she does like to be noticed it a few times, especially for talents she learned and perfected all these years. After all, complimenting and all such only help if one had worked for it. Only then would those be well-earned, and which made her happy. As she was about to ask Zita about her own interest when it came to music, she paused when she heard Zita asking her a question. And true enough she too had heard the well known sound of footsteps which caused her to look at the younger girl and she nodded her head in a positive response. They were out of beds and after curfew, which meant only one thing, trouble. And quickly she looked at Zita and whispered "let's get out of here and into the common room"she said hurriedly. While Thalia was sure that a single person's presence could be reasoned with and explained, it would be difficult to pass of a plausible explanation for two people of the same house, breaking curfew.

Zita had paused entirely at the sound she'd thought she'd heard; it was much better to be safe than sorry. As much as Zita left the common room at night for this or that, she had gotten caught once in her entire time in school. That had only been because she was sick and couldn't control her sneezes. She'd gotten detention for it and had been really upset about it so she always made sure to never get caught again. So when she paused and heard the sounds again, she got worried. It was then that Thalia confirmed that she'd also heard the sounds; by now they were clear as day the sound of footsteps headed in their direction. It was lucky they hadn't gone too far from the common room. Not even seconds later did Thalia whisper that they should get back to the common room and Zita walked as quickly and as quietly as she could. The sound of the footsteps didn't seem to get any closer than before but they were going at a steady pace. Zita really hoped that whoever it was didn't hear the two of them. As soon as she closed in on their portrait, Zita voice sounded out in some combination of a whisper and a yell and their entrance came open. She went into the entrance and waited for Thalia to come back in before she huffed out a breath. "I wasn't expecting anyone to be on this level! It's pretty late so I just assumed that there wouldn't be anyone on this level," she sighed. They didn't even get to go anywhere far for a real adventure. "At least we weren't too far from here."
