It wasn't even two days later when Yadi found himself in the same position that he'd found himself before. This time instead of having Dustin come to him about wanting to meet and talk, he had owled the person who a lot of this surrounded, Evelyn. He'd wanted to talk to her and see how she'd been. After seeing how Dustin had been he couldn't imagine she was fairing much better. He'd heard that she'd broken off her engagement with the Puddlemere player who'd complicated everything which, honestly, Yadi found a little bit disappointing. He hadn't heard about the engagement breaking off from her though so he wanted to talk to her about that as well. Dustin was still mad at her but Yadi was indifferent at this point. She could get engaged to anyone she liked, whether it was some stick in the mud Ministry worker or a particularly bad seeker from an opposing team. He was in a different tea shop than the one he'd met Dustin days ago but it was another one that was in Muggle London and it was just as nice as the last one. He had his favorite spots but he didn't want to continuously meet at the same ones in case fans caught wind of it. Though maybe if they did it wouldn't be a bad thing because then the shops would get more of the attention and business they deserved. He was relaxed in his chair and there was an orange and sage fruit tea blend cooling in front of him on the table while he waited for his player to arrive.

Evelyn was a mess. Dustin was still mad at her, hadn't talked to her since the day she broke up with Rocco and Ev was worried. How long was he going to be mad at her? Would he be able to get over it at all? She kept repeating to herself what he'd told her that day, that he needed time but that some friends cared enough that they wouldn't let you chase them away. He'd been referring to himself, right? Thought of that, and whether she'd done the right thing in breaking up with Rocco, flowed through her mind constantly. She didn't go out into public because she didn't have a good enough handle on her emotions. One minute she'd be fine, the next she'd be crying and Ev didn't know how to fix that. She was almost certain she'd be able to pull herself together for practices, but she hadn't had to yet. The healers told her to take two weeks off from Quidditch and for once Ev was happy that she didn't have to leave her apartment. Then she got the message from Yadiel. He was her team captain, her leader, so it wasn't something she could blow off or ignore. He wanted to meet with her.
So Ev tried. She started out trying to look nice, curling her hair, but after that she gave up. She didn't want to put effort into her appearance. She put on some jeans, a t-shirt and sweatshirt and then left for the tea shop Yadiel had asked her to go to. She entered and looked around, nodding to herself when she saw him sitting and moved to the table, sitting down quietly and not meeting her captain's eyes at first. Then she took a deep breath and looked up. "Hi," she muttered, hoping he couldn't see how close to tears she was. No! She was not going to start crying here, in front of her Quidditch captain.

He had just taken a sip of the new tea flavor when he saw her walk through the door. He tried not to choke on his tea. Hell. She looked like she'd been through hell and back. She didn't look as if she wanted to be out of the house. It didn't look as if she wanted to exist if he was being honest. Her hair was dull. She seemed skittish. And even from where he sat he could see that her eyes were red as if she had just finished crying. She looked like she wanted to cry now. He sat the cup of tea down just as she approached the table, leaning back in his seat and crossing his right leg over his lap. She wouldn't look at him, that was new. She'd always had a quiet confidence about her and she'd never been afraid to meet his eye before, no matter how hard on the team he could be. What did she think he was going to do? He eyed her as she sat down, face as unreadable as usual. His face stayed the same way as she finally looked up at him and gave a soft 'hi' in greeting. He just looked at her, really looked at her for what he assumed was a minute, surveying her appearance. It was week two of her mandatory rest. She didn't look like she was physically still hurting; the hospital had given her potions for those. Her issues with Dustin must be really taking a toll on her. Or was it breaking the engagement that had her down? "Did you need another week?" he asked simply. He didn't want to give it to her mostly because he didn't want to rely on one of the reserves for anything. They were his players but they were reserves for a reason. She didn't seem to be in any condition to play and he wasn't that much of an ass.

Yadiel didn't speak for what seemed like ages, but Ev met his eyes. She was hurting; in fact, she felt entirely broken on the inside, but this was her captain and some part of her refused to come across as the broken child she felt like. She wondered what he saw in her gaze and what he was thinking as he looked at her. She could admit that it was quite obvious she wasn't doing well, but could he tell how poorly she was doing? Why had he wanted to meet with her anyway? Was it to see how she was doing or talk about what they'd been doing at practice or could it be for something else entirely. When he finally spoke, Ev's eyes flashed with indignation and she sat up a little straighter in her chair. She didn't need to miss practice! Did he think she was incapable or ... no. He knew she was good at what she did and entirely dedicated to the team. Then why would he offer that? Apparently he saw more of her struggles than she initially thought. As quick as the annoyance came, it was gone and she felt guilty for feeling that way, even for just a moment. She glanced down at the table again, "I don't want to take another week," she answered softly before looking up to meet his eyes again, trying to find a semblance of her old confidence. She couldn't. Not right now. "but I very well might need one." What would Dustin and Rocco say about her being such a wimp, she wondered without meaning to. Blast! She thought about them for half a second and her eyes were already watering again! Ev bit her lip and looked up at the ceiling, blinking furiously to try and keep the tears from falling. It worked, this time. She needed to keep her attention on her team captain. If she started thinking of ... those two, she wouldn't be able to keep herself under control. She forced a wan smile, "Is that why you wanted to meet with me?" Ev doubted it. If that was all Yadiel wanted to say, he could have sent her an owl saying as much, but she had a feeling that he hadn't planned on asking that question when he set up the meeting. Maybe he had. She didn't know. She felt like she didn't know anything anymore. Or maybe she just didn't care enough to think about things logically, the way she always had.

Watching the way her eyes flashed at his question and seeing the way she sat up in her chair a little bit straighter made him want to snort but it always made a flash of pride run through him. This wouldn't break her. That bit of anger she just felt, over what he didn't know for certain, let him know that. She just needed some time to sort things out before she could return. Or maybe she didn't? His eyebrows raised a bit in surprise when she said that she didn't want to take another week off. That wasn't what he expected to hear from her, A little bit of hope flared and, though he knew he was getting carried away, his might started racing to the next practice so that they could get back into the swing of things and run some of the plays they'd messed up on in the game she'd gotten hurt in. He wanted to avoid that, her getting hurt, at all costs again so the best way to do that would be to see how they could avoid it. She followed the declaration stating that she might need the take the week off and his eyebrow furrowed though he gave a slow nod in understanding. Definitely thought ahead too soon. He sighed but became a little alarmed when he saw her furiously blinking back tears before regaining a bit of composure. She was a wreck and he was a bit miffed that he didn't have a solution for it. She would have to work through this on her own. "It's yours then. Do what you need to do. Then, come back ready to work," he confirmed with a nod of his head. At her question, he actually did scoff before sitting up in his chair and taking another sip of his tea. "That wasn't my plan at all. I would have just sent you an owl if that was the case," he began, "Actually I wanted to see how you were doing, but I already have that answer. And then I wanted to ask you about what happened at the hospital, but that doesn't seem to be the best idea. And then I wanted to talk to you about your friends, but I'm assuming that isn't the best idea either. So you pick a topic," he went through his mental list of crossed out items before he settle back in his chair. "Do you want some tea? I'll buy." Maybe something warm in her hands would help. It always helped him.

When Ev looked up to glance at Yadiel, she saw some kind of excitement in his eyes, excitement that dimmed when she mentioned that she might need a longer break. He told her that she had another week to do what she needed and then she could come back to work and Evelyn nodded, "I will." Even if he hadn't given her another week, she would have come ready to work. She just ... might not have done as good a job as she normally did. Still, she was very dedicated to the team, so she would have tried to put aside her emotions on the pitch. Still, she was going to try and get in control as soon as possible. Three weeks without flying seemed ... intolerable. It was just better to have the time off if she needed it than to not. Her smile became a little more sincere when he scoffed. Something about that lightened her mood a little. Well, that and the fact that she was right about him just sending an owl to tell her to take more time if she needed it. At least she knew her captain that well. Then he started explaining what he'd wanted. To see how she was doing. Well, that was obvious from her demeanor, Ev was sure. She nodded in recognition of that. Then he said he wanted to ask what happened in the hospital and about her friends, but that neither seemed like a good idea. Ev took a deep breath when he told her to pick a topic. "I can talk about those things," she said, her voice surprisingly strong and determined. Yadiel was her team captain. He had a right to know the things that impacted his players and Ev wasn't going to deny him that. "Just ask your questions," she encouraged with a firm nod. Even if she got emotional ... she'd rather get this conversation over with. Besides, she didn't really have anything else to share with him. Her life at the moment was focused on what happened in that hospital and the painful temporary loss of her best friend. Other than Dustin ... well she didn't have anyone else who would just randomly check on her. She was working on making other friends, they just weren't close ones yet. "I'll just have whatever you have," she answered when he offered to buy her some tea. Ev wasn't really picky when it came to tea and she really didn't want to have to make a decision at the moment. Her attention was on answering his questions.

Yadi gave a sharp nod at her response, though he didn't really expect any other answer from her. She was a hard worker; all of his players were for one reason or another but his team had proven time and again that they were willing to put in the work needed to be a good team. She wasn't an exception to that, she was a good player. And that was a blessing and a curse when one of them got hurt and they had to swap out for one of the reserved players momentarily. They had to work twice as hard in practice to maintain the status quo with a new body. The reserved players did practice with the rest of the team but it still wasn't the same as having the person who normally filled the position. He had to tell himself it was only a week and she'd be back and everything would be as it should. He watched her take a breath before saying that he could ask about all of the things he'd initially wanted. He found himself raising an eyebrow at her before he leaned forward, clasping his hands together in a completely business like show. "Are you certain about that Evelyn?" he started asking, "I just watched you almost cry sitting here. I'm not certain what you were thinking about but I can assume. And I can admit that I can be an ass, so I have no problem assuming what you were thinking about." His tone was completely even while he spoke, no sign of malice or judgement to be found. He was just stating what he'd seen and he didn't want her to force herself into talking about something she wasn't even sure she was ready to confront yet. "Even I can admit I'm not that strong so it's fine if you don't." He chose then to get up and get her a cup of the steaming fruit tea he'd gotten himself. It took him a few minutes because a small line had formed but once the cup was in his hand he strolled back to the table and set it in front of her. "Orange and sage," he commented before he sat down and took a sip of his own mostly cooled drink. "So are you sure?"

He seemed surprised that she wanted to talk about his questions. Honestly, it wasn't so much that Ev wanted to talk about her feelings or what happened, but that she didn't have anything else to do talk about. For the past week and a half her thoughts were constantly on her ex-fiance and her best friend. She felt immensely guilty about what happened with both of them and just so incredibly alone. It shouldn't be a new experience to her, really. Ev grew up alone. She was her parent's only daughter, she was the only witch in the family, she never reached out to people at school (whether it was primary school with muggles or Hogwarts), she never made friends. That was just the way she was. Until she met Dustin, and again with Rocco. They changed everything. And now they were both gone, at least for the moment. She didn't have anything else to think about.
Ev listened carefully as her captain asked if she was certain she wanted to talk about it, expressing what he'd noticed. He was very observant, which would probably be helpful if they did end up having this conversation. The thing was, it didn't matter when they had this conversation. Ev had a feeling that she'd be upset with it no matter what, she'd just hopefully be able to hide her emotions better with time. It would still hurt, so she might as well get it over with. She was about to tell him this when Yadiel stood up and left to go get her tea.
She took the minutes while he was gone to gather her composure. She closed her eyes and imagined that all her feelings and pain were physical, tangible items and she imagined putting them in a chest and locking them away. Not that she could actually do that, but when she opened her eyes, she felt more composed. Then he was handing her the orange and sage tea and sitting down in front of her once more, asking if she was sure. Ev lifted the glass of tea to her lips, feeling a little calmer as her fingers soaked in the warmth of the cup. She took a small sip of the tea and looked to her captain. "I'm sure. I'm not trying to prove myself or my strength or anything, I just ... maybe it will help if I say it out loud. If I actually express my feelings to someone. I've tried talking to myself about it and writing my feelings down, but none of that helps." She wished it did. She'd tried anything she could think of in an effort to make the pain go away. She didn't know if telling someone would help, but what harm would come from trying. Maybe she should warn him though. "I doubt I'll be able to keep control of my emotions the entire time, but I want to at least try to answer your questions. Go ahead." Ev encouraged, trying to sound confident. Hopefully this time he'd give it a try and just start.

He listened to her explain why she needed to try and talk about everything as he sipped on the rest of his tea calmly. He didn't think she was ready to talk about it, that is why he continued to insist she wait, especially after the near breakdown she'd just had. Even though she said she wasn't trying to prove her strength, he believed she was trying to prove it to herself that she could be fine. It was as admirable as it was frustrating. She had said that she didn't think she would be able to maintain her composure the entire time though so she was a bit more self-aware. He stared at her in contemplation before he took a deep breath, setting aside the empty tea cup. "If you insist." he clasped his hands together on the table, leaning forward just a bit. "So you broke off the engagement." It wasn't the most subtle way to start, no, nor was it a question. It was, however, the thing that he was most curious about. It didn't make sense to him that she'd broken the engagement especially now that their relationship was out in the open. It almost seemed liked a waste and considering she'd liked him enough to say yes to marrying him, it was strange that she'd break it so soon after the relationship became public. He didn't need to understand it, of course, but she'd invited the questioning so he'd do so freely. And he was trying his best not to bring his training state of mind into this, his need to push people just to limits before they break. He cared about her and didn't want to see her cry. This whole situation had been stressful for the team and more personally for her and Dustin so if they could get things figured out and back to normal, it wouldn't be soon enough.

Yadiel was staring at her. Evelyn didn't know if he believed her, or if he was going to try and convince her once more that they should talk about something else. She took small sips of the tea, finding peace in the warmth it brought her. Then he took a deep breath and agreed, leaning forward as he commented that she broke off her engagement. Evelyn's eyes searched his for a moment as her stomach clenched. 'No. I can do this' she told herself as she nodded back at him. It wasn't exactly a question, but Ev was going to assume that her captain wanted to know why she broke it off. She inhaled and started to explain. "I did. I just," she hesitated for a moment, evaluating her emotions. She could sense that this was going to hurt, but she was still in control. She could do this. "I just can't trust him anymore. He told the whole world about us when he knew I wasn't ready. Besides that, I was unconscious when he revealed it all. I had no idea of what happened and didn't have time to prepare what I was going to say to the people I loved before I saw them and now everything is complicated and I can't trust him." Her lip trembled and she bit it before lifting the tea to her lips again. She doubted Yadiel would understand her reasoning, most people couldn't understand the way her mind worked because they saw things in a different light. Still, her parents and Dustin were all angry at her now, which wouldn't have happened if he hadn't revealed their secret before she was ready. Evelyn's eyebrows furrowed, "Does that make sense?" she was used to not making sense, but for once she actually wanted to. She also wanted to ask if her captain if he thought she'd done the right thing or not, but she couldn't bring herself to. She looked down at the cup in her hands, waiting.

He watched her stare at him for a beat too long before nodding as he spoke. She seemingly held her ground and there were not tears forming so it was a good enough reaction for him. Maybe she was trying to stay strong on his account but that was exactly what he didn't want. She deserved her time to grieve; she didn't need to be strong for anyone but herself and even then she needed time to be strong for herself. Yadi listened intently to her explanation. Trust was important in a relationship but either way he couldn't blame her breaking off the engagement because it wasn't his choice. It was hers and she was going to do whatever she felt was best for herself. He had to agree that it would have been best if she had been awake and aware when they announced their engagement to the world. Part of it her explanation did leave him with one or two questions in particular. "I can understand you not being ready yet, but when would you have been?" he questioned first. "Your relationship had progressed enough for you to say yes to marrying him. What kept you from telling everyone about it?" He didn't have to be included in the 'everyone' he mentioned her telling the news to because he would have been happy for her. He was more curious as to what had kept her from telling Dustin and her family about her engagement since, typically, those were the first people you would tell. They would have wanted to be involved in the process. They probably would have wanted to be happy with her. Dustin had told him she didn't know how to tell him. Maybe he would get a different answer because he was more on the outside and less biased about the situation. Though he had been upset at the hospital, it had been not directed at her. Maybe her ex-fiance and the hospital staff, but not her.

Yadiel was a good listener, which shouldn't have come as a surprise to Ev, but it kind of did. Honestly though, she couldn't remember a time when she'd spoken so much to him, but she appreciated that he was listening and not being critical. Analytical with his questions maybe, but Evelyn could handle analytical. That was what she dealt with during school as a Ravenclaw and she appreciated it, even though it was difficult to deal with sometimes. She paused a second before answering his first question, wondering whether or not he would dismiss her answer just like Dustin had. Evelyn sighed, "I was going to tell Dustin after the game. Either the night of or the next day. After I told him, I was going to go to my parents ... and probably ask him to go with me. My parents like him." She gave a sad shrug, "That was my plan before I got injured." His next question was not as easy to answer, mostly because in order for him to understand, she'd have to explain everything from the beginning. Ev knew she made a big mistake in not telling anyone, but she couldn't change that. She took a deep breath and then sipped her tea as she thought of how to start. "I didn't know what to expect from the beginning, which made me nervous. I'd never been in a relationship before and I didn't want my parents to freak out about it and scare Rocco away somehow ... and I wasn't sure how Dustin would respond to me being interested in the competition." Her tone became more intense as she continued and Evelyn realized that she wanted someone to understand, to know why she kept everything a secret. "Besides that, I thought Rocco's interest in me wouldn't last. Most people don't stick around with me even as friends for more than a few weeks, so I didn't think any sort of relationship with Rocco would last any significant length of time. It was just fun, at first. Then it did last and I was so caught up in the feelings and ... and everything about the situation was so new to me. After a while I was nervous that I'd jinx it if I told anyone, and I was nervous about the effects it might have on Quidditch." She bit her lip as she considered how to continue. This was probably the part that would concern Yadiel the most, but she wanted to be sure he didn't doubt her actions in their Quidditch matches against Rocco's team. She watched him closely as she continued, meeting his eyes "I always do my best in matches and would never go easy on another team, even with Rocco on it, but I also know that people like to speculate and I didn't want to cause the team problems, or lose my place on it. I love working with the Falcons and couldn't imagine doing something else." She paused and then nodded, deciding that she'd explained that aspect well. "Then Rocco proposed and I was so ... deliriously happy, but I also felt guilty. I mean, I felt guilty before then, but I always rationalized it away with the reasons I told you about. I considered telling Dustin then," her voice grew hard as she remembered what happened to Dustin right after Christmas, "but the first time I saw Dustin after the proposal, he was upset because some idiotic girl broke his heart and it just- I couldn't tell him then. It didn't feel right." She took a deep breath to calm herself once more. Thinking of the night when Dustin came to her apartment crying and broken still made her angry and defensive on his behalf, but she needed to let it go for the moment so she could focus on what she was saying. She looked down to the cup of tea still in her hands. "After that I was trying to figure out how to tell them the truth and explain why I'd kept the secret for so long. I decided to wait until after the game because I was nervous that if the relationship was announced before it, all the things I'd worried about with Quidditch would happen and that I wouldn't be allowed to play." She looked up at him once more, surprised by how easy it was to keep her emotions under control as she explained the whole thing. Maybe she should have tried this a while ago. "I know it's all my fault and that I'm an idiot for keeping the whole thing a secret, but I didn't know what to do and the situation just got out of hand." Ev stopped talking, looking at her captain as she waited. She didn't know if he would have more questions or comments or if he would even say anything about her explanation, but at least she got it out there. Now someone knew everything from her point of view.

There were many times in his life time, more often than not, where Yadiel relished in being correct about one situation or another. This was definitely not one of those times. He had leaned into the conversation, expecting to get a short answer. Dustin had told him a few things when they had met a few days prior. He got so much more. And he wasn't surprised in the slightest when everything she said aligned with many of the things he'd gleaned from what Dustin had told him and what he had observed himself. The more she talked, the harder the grimace on his face formed and spread. Not only had he never heard her talk about a relationship, apparently she had never been in one to begin with. He wondered if Dustin had known that. He understood what she was saying but his age and own experiences were trying to fight back the understanding he'd developed. She was still very young so it shouldn't have come as a shock to him that this was one of her first relationships. And for it to go as far as an engagement only for her to break it off? His head was full of the information. When she brought up the blood purist girl that Dustin was heartbroken over, he grunted in acknowledgement. He'd heard about her from the seeker and had been disappointed to find out that he'd gotten tangled with someone who he assumed was so opposite the teen. She called herself an idiot and he rolled his eyes. It seemed Dustin had been right in some aspects. For Yadi though, there was no actual side. Two of his players were in a quarrel, two of his players that were supposed to be the two closest on the team. Well almost anyway. They were in an argument over a large misunderstanding that literally could have been solved if they had talked right afterwards. He took a deep breath. "Give me a moment." He stood up from the table, grabbing his emptied tea cup and brought it back up to the counter to get a refill. One one hand, he was frustrated with the pair of them. On the other hand, he was a bit more relieved because he knew they could get over this and be back to who they had been before everything had erupted. They just needed to talk. Once his cup was filled back up with steaming tea, he paid and returned to the tabled, setting the cup down and taking his seat. He took a sip of the scalding liquid, wincing and thoroughly burning his tongue before he finally decided to speak. "I can only assume you were successful in telling Dustin about... one-fourth of everything you just told me?" his voice was calm as he spoke with an eyebrow raised at her. "Now that I've heard everything. I do understand how you felt though. I do want you to know that you had nothing to worry about when it came to telling me. I know you. I know that you care about the team and that you would never jeopardize your position like that. However, I can't be certain what the officials would have said." It would have looked bad on both sides but he would hope that the officials would have known that the situation just happened and it wasn't a ploy for publicity or some sort of cheating scandal. He was certain they would have made it through with her on the team and able to play in the game, even if he would have to assure it his own way. He took another sip of the hot tea before he sighed. "You both really just need to talk and clear the air. That kid is... well. I'm sure you can guess how he is."

When Ev finished talking, she looked up at her captain. She'd seen his grimace, heard him grunt when she mentioned Dustin's broken heart, but she had no idea what he thought about the situation. She didn't know if he blamed her for everything or if he understood why she did what she did. Mostly, Ev didn't know what to think anymore. He asked her to give him a moment and stood, walking back over to the counter and Evelyn dropped her head so it was resting on the table. She felt drained. She was quite proud of herself for keeping her head and her emotions in check, but now she didn't know what to do and she was so tired. She was on the verge of tears, but still trying to hold them back. They were in public, and she's supposedly just gotten past the hard part. She shouldn't need to cry now. She heard him return, then took a deep breath before moving back to a sitting position, her expression solemn. Here it was. Now Yadiel was about to tell her what he thought about the situation. Ev felt her anxiety rise. He mentioned her not telling Dustin everything she told him and Ev nodded, "It wasn't the right time to talk. We were both angry and flustered and ... not really listening to one another." Granted, from her point of view she'd listened to everything Dustin said. Each word cut like a knife, but there was no way she would blame him for what happened. It was her fault, after all. Evelyn exhaled heavily, fighting to keep the tears at bay when Yadiel said he understood how she felt. He understood. That one word felt like a weight lifting off her shoulders. It didn't change everything or even fix it, but knowing that was such a relief. She nodded when he started saying that she didn't need to worry about her position on the team because of him. "Thank you. I- I'm sorry I didn't come to you sooner," she apologized. It still felt surreal to have someone understand her right now. Not judging her, he wasn't telling her if he thought she did right or wrong, but he knew why she did what she did. He mentioned Dustin and the fact that they needed to talk and Ev shook her head, ignoring as a few silent tears fell. "I can only imagine ... and I wish we could talk, but it's not up to me. He needs time. That's what he told me and I don't want to make things worse by pushing myself on him." Did she want to see Dustin? Absolutely. She missed him. Missed his teasing, his personality and constancy, not to mention his patience with her. She bit her lip, "I just have to wait for him to ... for-forgive me," she choked on the word forgive, remembering when she asked him to do just that in the hospital. I can't forgive you, Ev. The words echoed in her mind, but she tried to forget them. Later that day he told her he just needed time. Ev had to believe that she hadn't lost him forever.

Yadi wasn't surprised at all when Evelyn said that she hadn't had the chance to tell Dustin everything she'd felt and the reasons why she'd kept quiet about her relationship. It was really frustrating considering that none of this would be an issue, that Dustin wouldn't be suffering as much as he was if they had been able to talk and listen to each other. She'd said it wasn't the right time to talk but Yadi felt like it would have been the perfect time of them to talk and clear the air. Then again, they were young. Yadi himself wasn't too old but he learned quick and he knew better now. Watching people make the same mistakes was annoying when he knew the answer already. He felt uncomfortable that she felt like she needed to apologize for not telling him and he ended up shaking his head anyway. "No need to apologize Evelyn. Like I said, you had nothing to worry about from me." It was her parents that she needed to tell but, as he understood now maybe that wasn't the best decision she could have made. He couldn't say that he would have hid it himself; he didn't have the experiences she did and he never would. It was all over now though and even though he was still a bit miffed at the fact that he'd been forced to wait outside of the room, he had a better understanding of the whole situation and he felt like he didn't have as much to worry about now. He scoffed and shook his head when she said that the two of them talking was up to him and that he needed time. He'd seen the kid and time was definitely not something he needed considering he was making a lot of assumptions about how she felt and why she had done what she'd done. He wasn't going to like what she said because part of the reason she had kept it from him was because she was worried about how he'd react to her being in a relationship with a player from an opposing team. Hadn't he said something him thinking she was saying he was a bad friend? "He's running himself into the ground thinking too much about it. I'll just say the sooner you both talk to the sooner you both can clear up any misconceptions that have formed." That was when her voice broke. His brow furrowed. Yeah he would rather they talk sooner than later. The both of them were a mess. The both of them were a mess because of each other and they were the only ones that could fix it.
