What Dom wasn't expecting in this whole situation was for Madi to face her down. Granted, she didn't know how far the Gryffindor was willing to go, but she definitely saw the same glint in her friend's eyes that she was sure was in her own. Dom didn't back down from challenges, she didn't accept it when she lost at games (which was part of the reason why she was enjoying herself so much right now). She loved the chance to show off and Madi was giving her all of those things.
She considered the fact that if Madi didn't turn or stop going straight for her, they would collide ... or she would be able to touch Dom, changing the feel of the game, but Dom didn't care. This time, she wasn't going to turn away. Dom turned her broom miniscully to the left, so that though the two were facing one another, they were a tiny bit off, so instead of colliding, they would be right next to one another. Dom winked at Madi as she drew near and shrugged, expecting it when she felt a small touch on her arm. Now it was her turn to be it.

[googlefont="Playfair Display"][googlefont="Josefin Sans"] [attr="class","itokaytext"] Madison did not know what the other girl was up to, until they were very near. From a distance she could ot find the small deviation she made from the path. And only when they were near did she notice it, causing her to grin. Madi did not have to urge her broom up or down after all.Just sideways would do. And she was pretty much surprised that she was able to tag the redhead. But that didn't stop her from shouting out, "tag, you're it !!". May be the other girl was tired of being chased.. Either way, Madi grinned and without a second thought she urged her broom downwards in a trajectory and called behind her "catch me if you can". Now it was her chance to escape from Dominique.
Madi knew that it would take the girl at least few seconds to change her course and follow her. And Madi knew that time was very much precious, as she would need that head start if she was going to win the game. She was diving down and continued to do so, until she was merely feet away from the ground, and then she carefully steadied her broom and flew parallel to the ground, as she made her way towards the outer end of the pitch. She would need to increase her height and make sure that Dom wouldn't catch her in the mean time. It was a challenge for sure, and that made Madison love it more.

Madi tagged her and a part of Dom squirmed at that fact. She hated losing. The good thing was, the game wasn't over yet. She still had the opportunity to tag Madi back and thus not lose the game. And that was exactly what she planned on doing. The moment she felt the other girl touch her, Dom spun her broom around.
Madi was close to the ground, speeding to the other side of the pitch and Dom grinned to herself. Being on top was definitely the way to have the higher hand. She sped across the pitch until she was above Madi, curious to see what the other girl was going to do. Also, she was very much enjoying being higher in the air. It meant that she could see every move Madi made and echo it. Eventually, when Madi decided to ascend (because being so close to the ground was no fun), Dom would be able to get her, she was sure. She called down to her friend. "Come on, Madi! Being so low defeats the purpose in flying!" She waved to the first years as she waited to see what Madi would do now.

[googlefont="Playfair Display"][googlefont="Josefin Sans"] [attr="class","itokaytext"]There wasn't any particular strategy or rule Madison followed when she was the one is being chased. She just had to make sure of one thing : not get caught. While that seemed pretty easy to her when she played all those times with her cousins, with Dom it was going to be challenging. From what she saw previously the redhead was quite a good flier and it would not be a surprise if Madi was outrun by her. As she flew a little near to the ground, Madi heard Dom's voice and laughed and said "whatever you say Domi"and she was sure the other girl could hear her.
As Madi reached the end of the quidditch pitch, she then began to fly higher and as she reached the height of the hoops, Madi twirled on ehr broom like a ballerina. She giggled at her thought and steadied her broom right in front of the hoops and waited for the redhead to come. She looked at th first years who were now staring at the duo with attention and Madi waved to them and smiled.

Dom was having a blast! This idea, to play tag on brooms, was one of the best ideas she'd participated in in a while. Not only was she flying faster than she had all year, but she was ALSO getting to show off that speed. She needed to spend more time with Madi, of course. She heard Madi laugh, teasing her back and Dom grinned. So. Much. Fun.
Being above the Gryffindor, it wasn't easy to see that she was starting to rise, but Dom had a different idea. While Madi's back was to her during her ascent, Dom flew behind one of the spectator towers so she could fly out and scare her friend, which would hopefully help her catch Madi quickly. She glanced around an edge momentarily, to see Madi spinning up around the hoops. Dom rolled her eyes and moved back to her hiding spot, curious to see her friend's reaction.

[googlefont="Playfair Display"][googlefont="Josefin Sans"] Tell myself it's time now, gotta let go [attr="class","itokaytext"] As Madi reached the hoops, she turned around hoping to find, Dom behind her or below her or at least some where near her. But Merlin she was met with a shock when she could not find her on the pitch .Okay where the hell was she and on instinct she looked towards the ground, wondering if she landed and at the expense of sounding as a bad friend, she though that Dom might have fell down. And her thoughts were just that, wild, for Dominique was not present there. She then looked around from her place, which offered the maximum view of the pitch, but still could not find her. Time to move, she thought and urged her broom forward so that she can round up the whole pitch and see where the redhead was hiding. She was near the spectator stand and she half wondered whether the girl was hiding in the stands.
Madi was going to be absolutely honest when she thought of this game to be the best. Considering that the ground they had or rather the area they had to play the game, she totally enjoyed it. They had a lot of space to escape and loop round. May be she could have a game like this some time this year, after she was sure that all the quidditch players were missing the game just like her and a chance like this would probably give them a chance to show-off and play.

Dom peeked out from behind the stands she was hiding behind to see that Madi was looking at the ground. Perfect! That have her the perfect opportunity to jump the Gryffindor girl and take control of the game by trading her. Doom backed up for a second, dried off her hands, stretched for a moment and then zipped out from behind the stands in a mad rush towards the other girl. If Dom was lucky, Madi wouldn't notice get until it was too late. If she was unlucky, she was just going to have to make sure her broom flew faster than her friend's. She heard first years cheering from below. If she got Madi now and they ended the game she was found to do some fancy landing in front of those fifth years and give them something to really cheer about.

[googlefont="Playfair Display"][googlefont="Josefin Sans"] Give your all to me I'll give my all to you [attr="class","itokaytext"] Madi should have paid much more attention to her surroundings and the result of not doing so was how she got tagged. She had not anticipated Dom to come from wherever she hid, and the gryff did not have enough time to react and such she felt the girl touch her making Madi groan, she did not even last a long time she thought. Looking at Dom she said "you got me, and it is a tie"and grinned. And then looking down, she turned to Dom and with a smirk she said "one last show for the little kids?" as she herself dove down. She decided to pull off the famous dive she usually does. Fall down in a perpendicular direction and then with a flair, she lifted up right before she would hit the ground. She then twirled still flying and grinning wildly.

Dom grinned when Madi said that it was a tie. Of course it was, they both caught the other one once. However, Dom's competitive side was satiated by the fact that she caught Madi faster than Madi caught her. She wasn't going to say that however, because she had absolutely no intention of provoking the Gryffindor player. At least, not after she had the idea to play such a fabulous game! It definitely brightened up Dom's day and she was positive that the first years enjoyed it as well. Naturally. It wasn't like they were really doing anything that required a lot of attention. She grinned and nodded at Madi's next question, following the girl and copying almost exactly what she did, adding her own flair and twirls along the way. Once the two paused, Dom glanced over at the first years. She looked around for the teacher and then flew quietly to the bunch who watched the entire game between her and Madi. "Just let us know if you guys are ever interested in seeing something like that again." She was teasing, but the young children nodded their heads vigorously, excited by the idea. She glanced over at Madi and shrugged.

[googlefont="Playfair Display"][googlefont="Josefin Sans"] Here's to you and I Raise 'em to the sky [attr="class","itokaytext"]
Madison grinned at her claw-friend and merlin was she surprised. Not only had she adapted the game like a fish in water, she ousted Madi too. Well not that the gryffindor would mind it in the slightest. had it een a competition with something at stake or prize, Madi would have absolutely hated herself. But this was all in good spirit and besides, she was just trying to have some fun. And from the looks of it, Dom too had enjoyed the game. When she approached the first years, Madi wondered what she was upto and the next words from the raven had her grinning too and she too added ask for Dom and Madi in the lion and claw houses, you'll find us". Looking at their excited nods and looks of awe, Madi felt way better that day than she was when she first entered the pitch. At Dom's look, she gave a grin and said "we got ourselves a fan club i guess" and with a wave to Dom she made her way out of the pitch.
