[googlefont="Playfair Display"][googlefont="Josefin Sans"] baby be the life of the party [attr="class","itokaytext"] Madison was glad that the other girl did not mind her questioning. While some might be okay, not everyone finds it innocent , some think that she does it intentionally. But the truth was that, she never actually thinks through anything she says and only after it is spoken does she usually realize her mistake. And just like now, she apologies hoping that whoever it was would not mind. As Kinsey asked about sending Adrian a letter, she nodded and said "quite a few actually, but none came back with answers. It's annoying actually"she said, her voice taking a tone of irritation directed at her brother. He understood why she did it a few months ago, and now it was as though she was the villain in his life. As Kinsey amended her previous words, Madi just waved her off and said "not a problem, besides they say that sharing makes it better, and I need every reason to stay happy".
As Kinsey spoke of Sugar, Madison couldn't help but feel a bit smug. She remembered the time she walked into the magical menagerie store that summer when she picked up the feline. It was among the newly born litter of a cat and Madi immediately felt a strange liking towards it and brought it. Till her fifth year, she had an owl named Perry who decided to fly off to stay with Issac than with her. And so, she had to pick a new one to take to the school with her. At Kinsey's words, Madi smiled and nodded "sure, no problem".
When Kinsey kind of indicated that she would sing when they were alone, it brought a soft smile on the gryffindor's face. It was such a sweet gesture as she spoke "wow, then you and I should meet up again. May be the next time we should meet in a less crowded area". Just as she said it, they reached the Dominic Maestros shop and opening the door Madi gestured the other girl forward and she closely followed in. She could hear faint music being played in the background and Madi liked it. She looked at all the records in display and turning to Kinsey she spoke "so now that we are here, let's check out the new albums" and winked at her.

Kinsey nodded slowly when Madi answered her question about her brother. That was a shame. If Dustin didn't answer her letters, Kinsey would probably end up crying. And sending him angry letters. "I'm sorry," she said after a moment, "I don't think I'd be able to handle it if my brother did that," she muttered. Kinsey nodded slowly when Madi mentioned needed all the reasons to be happy. She was right in the fact that being happy was better than not and sometimes you had to search for those reasons.
Kinsey smiled and gave a small laugh when Madi said they should meet somewhere that was less busy. "Alright," Kinsey said, nodding a few time to try and show she meant it.
As Madi gestured, Kinsey stepped forward and walked into the store. It had a pleasant, soothing atmosphere and she smiled as she started walking in the store. She looked at Madi and smiled. "Alright! Let's look!" She started to glance through the music, excited. Kinsey loved music!

[googlefont="Playfair Display"][googlefont="Josefin Sans"] Right now, I wish you were here with me [attr="class","itokaytext"] As Kinsey said that she was sorry, Madi just nodded and listened on as she spoke. Handle it, oh dear lord she was not at all handling it well. Any one who knows her can say that she is being rather idiotic and downright forgetful now-a-days. It was one thing for her to get into fights with her school mates, but it was a whole new level of craziness for her to deal with her brother not talking to her. "I sure am not able to handle, and that's why I'm such a boring company today."While boring might not be apt, but in Madison's case it was true. She was talking less than she usually does which was not an ideal thing. She noticed that it has been happening a lot these days.
Madison just smiled and nodded back at Kinsey's positive answer. She would get to hear the voice of the other girl now. But then again, it was not as though the other girl was not speaking to her or anything. But listening to her sing would be great after all. Maybe they could sing together?! who knows. As the duo were in the store, she found Kinsey looking just as excited as her. Well, it was going to be a great time spent here. She began to skip through a few and wondered if she could buy a couple.

Just by looking at the girl, it was easy to tell that Madi was not handling the struggles with her brother well. She wasn't quite her outgoing, bubbly self, though she was definitely making an effort to be. Kinsey have her a sympathetic smile. "Maybe one of these days your brother will realize how ridiculous he's being?" she suggested, not sure at all if that would help her friend or not.
However, Kinsey could tell that being around the musical instruments was cheering her friend up a little. Still, she hated to see someone else upset about something like that. "Are you looking for something to buy? I mean ... do you know how to play an instrument?" Kinsey asked, surprised by how empty the music shop was. If no one was here ... Maybe she would sind. Especially if it would help cheer Madi up.

[googlefont="Playfair Display"][googlefont="Josefin Sans"] I could really use a wish right now a wish right now,a wish right now [attr="class","itokaytext"]At Kinsey's suggestion, Madi found herself snorting and said "I wish". She knew how stubborn her brother can be considering that she too was similar to him in that matter. But she could not understand what made him behave like this all of a sudden, he was fine for quite some time, and now that she began to think of it, Madi wondered if his ex-girlfriend has a hand in this all. After all Madi had made her life difficult at Hogwarts and considering what the other girl did none sympathized with her which might be a reason if that witch had written to her brother. All her brother needs is a reason to get back with that witch considering that he still liked her. She would've have to talk with Issac about this possibility and shook her head of those thoughts for the time being.
As Kinsey spoke to her, Madi found her attention flitting towards the girl as she answered back "may be if Ifind something i would end up buying it"admitted Madi with a sheepish smile. And when she asked whether she played an instrument, Madi had on a mischievous smile as she spoke "I am not as good as my brother, but I do play a guitar often". It was something she and Issac shared in common and often she spent her time with the eldest of her twin brothers and try and learn it from him time and time. But she was a bit better in singing than playing an instrument. Now Madi was snorting, saying she wished that her brother would realize how ridiculous the whole thing was. Honestly, Kinsey didn't know what else to say. Obviously Madi's brother wasn't very responsive, and that probably wouldn't change in the near future. Any comments of hoping for the best were being brushed off, so Kinsey decided to go with a small nod. There really wasn't anything else she could say to help, Kinsey decided.
The store seemed to help Madi's mood however. She seemed a bit distracted, probably by the instruments. Then she commented that if she found something she might end up buying it. Then her smile shifted a little and she mentioned that she played the guitar. Kinsey cocked her head to the side curiously. "So ... does that mean you're interested in buying a guitar ... if you find the right one, that is?" She assumed there were different kinds of guitars, just like there were different kinds of quills and books. When it came to people's hobbies, everyone had something they preferred. Kinsey did as well. She chose fine-tipped quills and books that had nothing to do with her school subjects, when she had the chance. "Maybe you could play a song?" Kinsey suggested off-hand as she started glancing through the shop for any sign of a guitar.

Madison was actually glad that Kinsey didn't comment further because she was not sure what she would reply back. She was torn between her brother and herself. And it was not a good thing at all. Because she cannot choose between the two as both are important to her. When Kinsey caught on to her thoughts Madi grinned and said "if I find the one I like, I would definitely buy it" as she looked around with a happy smile. While that can be costly, her family could definitely afford it considering that they have always been a little excess on the galleons. Though she did not have the money on her at that time she was sure that Issac would drop by and make the payment for her. But then again it all depends on if she likes anything or not. When Kinsey suggested that she play a song, Madi grinned and said "definitely" as she looked around the place to find a guitar. And to the farthest corner of the room she found what she was looking for and gesturing for Kinsey to wait she went and picked the one. Lifting it up, she strummed the strings with her fingers and upon finding it perfect she took the pick and tried it again and smiled at the all too familiar sound. Looking at Kinsey she said "this is a muggle song which I heard" she said as she played the tune of Army song which was about someone dear and someone whose presence strengthens a person. @kinsey

Kinsey smiled when Madi agreed that she would definitely buy a guitar if she found one she liked. She liked how Madi made her feel comfortable. There weren't many people that Kinsey would willingly spend her time with, since she definitely preferred to be on her own so she didn't have to deal with everyone's intentions. That said, Madi was almost always cheerful and positive so being around her felt easy to Kins, which was a relief. Madi said she was definitely interested in playing a song, Kinsey nodded and waited obediently while her friend walked around, looking for a guitar to use as accompaniment. Kinsey found a chair and sat down, watching her friend.
She started playing a song and it was obvious that she knew what she was doing. Kinsey closed her eyes and listened to the music, loving the feeling of calm that washed over her. It was definitely fun to listen to others do something they loved. When the song was over, Kinsey smiled at her friend. "That was amazing," she complimented. "Do you know any others?" If there was one thing Kinsey missed when she was at Hogwarts, it was music. When she went home for the summer, she could listen to whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted, but things just weren't like that at school and she found herself missing music. Most of the time she was busy enough to realize she was missing it, but in moments like this, she noticed.

[googlefont="Playfair Display"][googlefont="Josefin Sans"] No one could ever know me No one could ever see me [attr="class","itokaytext"]After playing the song, Madi felt a little at peace. At least she could push away her thoughts of sadness while she strummed the guitar. It was an all too familiar feeling and she was happy for that, and was glad that the music shop was what they decided to go to. But then again she would have fel better soon, if not at that moment. It was not in Madi's personality to be gloomy and dull. She just cannot be the girl who is all sad about something she has no control over. And as much as she wanted to scream and say that her brother would listen to her, she was not soo sure anymore. At Kinsey's compliment and words, Madi came back to the world of living and smiled. "Thanks Kins, even I feel way better now"she added the last part, as she was indeed thankful that she had given her an oppurtunity to play. And when the other witch had asked if she knew any others, Madi nodded her head and said "yeah I know a couple of songs, all muggle though. Some how I can never replicate the wizarding music on guitar.. I mean..it is just soo fast-paced that I always worry that the strings would break"she said with a shrug. And then she began to rack her brain for a song which she could play without having to check th notes, and soon enough she had one on her mind. Looking at Kinsey she said "I got one song, it is called as Life of the party, I don't know the artist name properly"and gave a sheepish grin. At times, Madi forgets who the artist of a song is, because all she could remember was the tune and the lyrics, nothing else. Here goes "she muttered a little loudly and began to strum her guitar and play the soft music. She always liked this song, especially if it was her brother who was playing it. But this time, it was her and her brother was no where near her. A lone tear escaped Madison as she continued to play the guitar. Madi looked better and Kinsey was glad. The music sounded wonderful to her, so she hoped that her friend enjoyed it as well and it seemed like she did. She smiled, "Well that's more than me. I can't reproduce any kind of music on a guitar." Which should be obvious with the way this conversation started, but Kinsey said it anyway. She didn't have to hide that from Madi. Madi was happy and accepting of everyone and she appreciated the fact that Madi was willing to play music for her. Her eyes narrowed as Madi named the next song she was going to play. "I don't think I know that one ..." Kinsey admitted after a few seconds, then she smiled, "but go ahead and play it! I'd love to hear." At first she closed her eyes again when her friend started playing, appreciating the music. Then something shifted and her eyes opened and widened. Madi was crying. "Are you alright?" Kinsey whispered after the song was over. She didn't know what else to say.
