hello there, my name is dominic dippet but you can call me dom. i'm 16 so that makes me a 6th year at Hogwarts, where I reside in ravenclaw house. You could say I'm intelligent, knowledgeable, & witty but I personally think that I am brutal, hungry, bitter. People say I look a lot like dominic sherwood, but I don't really see it...

At 5'8", Dom looks just like his playby, facial expressions and all. When not in school robes he dresses in simple jeans or casual slacks and often in muscle tees or flannel. He knows that looks good on him. He is very muscley, mostly the bulk finds a home in his biceps. He even has the mismatched eyes that his face claim has. He has several tattoos that run up his neck and arms mostly, just simple rune symbols.

he isn't sure what he fears, but his boggart would probably show something like his brother suddenly getting magic and becoming incredibly proficient at it with ease and swiftness.
overall personality:
Dom tries not to be someone who takes others feelings into account. He's always looking out for number one, doing what he thinks his best for himself or whatever he darn well pleases. He lives for control and has learned over the years that the easiest way to be in control is for people to fear you, or at least for them to have some sort of reaction when you're coming their way. Fear proved to be the strongest way to get people to give him a reaction just on sight. He's your typical bully in that he will pick on you for anything and everything and laugh right in your face about your deepest flaws and insecurities. Like many bullies, this behavior stems from a lack of reactions/attention in his childhood, to be explained in the history.
Dom is a dedicated student, believing that his magical abilities are incredibly important. Leaning everything he possibly can his one of the surest ways for him to be in the most control of himself and things around him, he believes, and so he takes his studies very seriously. It's rare to see him goofing off in class and he never turns in a half done assignment. He takes intense pride in his work and would never make a fool out of himself in that capacity.
As for friends, Dom doesn't have many real friends. He tends to hang around people he can control most of the time, but he even likes a challenge every once in a while and spends time with people just as driven and strong as he is. He doesn't necessarily consider himself to be many peoples close friend, to him they're just extra people to mold around him to fit into his life the way he likes them to be there.
Dom has a deep rooted need for love and affection, but he isn't aware of this. When the time comes that he starts to realize this, when he starts getting close to someone that he could really love, it's going to be a very difficult transition for him. Learning to actually accept that love and show it will be a grueling process, and he'll easily try to instinctively fight against it.

Doms parents are both from full wizard blooded Irish families. They were very comfortable with the wizarding world and very uninterested in muggle customs and life. They weren't necessarily 'purity activists', but they didn't care to get involved with muggles at all were happy and incredibly comfortable with living that lifestyle.
They didn't actually plan to have a baby yet and never admitted, even to each other, that they both felt unprepared for it. They tried to show the proper amount of affection and care for Dom, but they didn't know what they were doing. Even though they came from full blooded lines, the LAST are lower class citizens in terms of income and status. MOM was encouraged to marry someone better off than she, but her love for DAD ruled that planned out. They lived a simple lifestyle, but were honestly overwhelmed and having the baby didn't help with that.
When Dom was two years old they were pretty sure they had gotten in figured out, finally, and decided to shake things up by having another baby. Alex was born, and he was easily the favorite from day one. He wasn't an accident, he was a well behaved baby, oddly calm and easy to care for. Dom was gradually edged to the sidelines, his position made clear even though it was never flat out stated that he wasn't wanted.
By the time Dom was three he was showing signs of magic, and that made his parents pay some extra attention to him for a little while, but that only made them want to encourage Alex even more... but the magic never came for him. Soon they realized that Alex didn't have any natural magic inside of him, that he was a squib. They faced a choice. They could send Alex to school to learn magic that didn't require his own internal powers, or they could send him into muggle school and help him build a life there. By this point, Dom was about eight years old and was just as neglected as ever. He didn't think it could get more so, but it did with the new discovery about Alex....
Dom was always forced to take care of his brother and assure that all of Alex's needs were met. He wasn't allowed to play with anything that Alex wanted, and even if he was playing he had to keep an eye on Alex too, make sure he stayed happy. Dom was always doing all the chores, handling everything and for a long time he didn't mind. He figured it was only normal for the eldest to do all the work and take the responsibility if Alex did something wrong or got hurt. But the feeling that this was a normal thing started to dissipate as he got older, and the bitterness took seed.
He never blamed Alex, still doesn't. The whole squib thing only made his feeling of responsibility over his brother stronger. He felt a strange guilt that he had magic and his brothers didn't... he didn't come up with that idea on his own though. His parents mentioned that plenty of times. How they wished it had been the other way around. They talked about it when they thought Dom wasn't listening...
By the time Dom got his Hogwarts letter, his parents could really care less. They attempted to seem thrilled, but they didn't pull it off well. They till supplied him with his school things and sent him on his way. Their nonchalant attitudes about it were the complete opposite of what Dom was feeling. He was finally going to be in control of himself, his time, what he did when he wasn't in class... he would finally have some power.
His bitterness and his need for some control over his life being quenched shaped him into who he is today. He spent the last six years shaping his life so he was in control of the situations around him as much as possible, and his attitude was born of that. Summers home with his family are basically the same, taking care of Alex and being ignored. His parents had sent Alex to muggle school until he was twelve and then asked him what he wanted and his brother had decided to go to muggle school permanently. To this day Alex is still happy with this choice. Alex doesn't seem to understand Dom's bitterness because he just doesn't see what's happening clearly. He's too wrapped up in his life, and Dom is okay with that.
The attacks in his fourth year didn't really bother him much, for he didn't see them as his business at first. Then he realized that the place to have power, the place to have control would be to work with those who were taking matters into their own hands, right? The attack on April Fools day last year and the attack on Kings Cross were plenty to convince him to seek the Purifiers out, though he hasn't gotten to them yet.
Three months into the year, his brother had gotten incredibly sick, to the point that his parents wanted Dom to come home. He saw the first task, but didn't make it to the Yule Ball even. He left right before Christmas break and hasn't come back until now, with only three months left in the year. There is a small amount of wizard parents who home school, so he did that while he was gone. He couldn't be more thrilled to graduate next year and move onto get a job in the wizarding community, but he has to pass some extra tests to make sure his homeschooling held up. He's come back the week of the carnival, and has only kept up on tournament issues via the newspaper, and he didn't really care that much so he hasn't paid much attention to who is in the lead.
Now, more thane ever, he wants to get in contact with the people responsible for all the attacks and join them. He is hoping to find them before the school year ends, so he can plan his summer according to whatever they may have in store for him.
