Written in these walls are the stories that I can't explain While it was not Diya's intention to bring up such topics, sometimes she just couldn't help it. And only when facing situations like these does she actually know how bad or hurtful (may be) her questions can be to the other person. While they may seem innocent on the outside, they sure as hell were not. And when Angie had brushed her off, Di felt a little bit better knowing that she didn't over step too much. And at her reply, Diya wanted to comment but promptly shut her mouth not wanting to extend the topic much. And instead she just nodded and said "it is a good thing, besides it can be difficult to explain a young mind" . When Angie had asked about her marriage Di had been a bit snippy and for which she now felt bad. All this time the other woman had been there talking to her and was soo nice, not to mention they 2ere at school together, albeit they didn't know each other. But here she was taking out her irritation on the other woman. She really should not be doing it and for better or for worse she should get a control on her feelings. It would do get no good if she fired up at the slightest of things when it comes down to weddings. Shaking her head she spoke up, "they will be upset yeah, and that would make me feel bad" she said with a sigh. As much as she can say that she wouldn't be bothered by her parents reactions, she kind of does. After all they raised her, and she cannot forget all those things they did for her. Knowing what she knew about Aerick’s parents, she wasn’t sure if she would have wanted them in Olive’s life even if they did know about her. His mum was alright, she didn’t know much about the woman, but she knew that Aerick loved her and wanted to protect her. But, she also knew that the reason that Aerick had come to England in the first place was because his father had ran out on them after Aerick’s graduation from Ilvermorny and Aerick wanted to find the man and confront him. As far as the woman knew, he hadn’t had any luck yet finding him. But, it had been a while since she spoke to her child’s father anyway. “Exactly. So when she starts asking I’ll figure out how to do it, but until then it’s better to let her live in a state of bliss about it.” she said. How exactly Olive’s father had died, Angie wasn’t sure. She wasn’t sure if she and Aerick had ever come up with an exact story, the man had just died, that was what they decided. Hopefully of something like an illness rather than an attack or something.
Angie nodded to show her understanding as the woman sitting beside her spoke of how upset her parents would be if she didn’t go through with their idea of an arranged marriage. She could only imagine. Olive heard them speaking and asked, “Can I get married?” to which, Angie couldn’t hold in her giggles. “When you’re older you can if you’d like.” she insisted.

you know I can't fight the feeling, And every night I feel it Diya slowly nodded her head as she understood what Angie meant. But she had to give it to the other witch who was able to handle the situation so well. Diya could never see herself in such a place and still be calm and level headed. As far as she knew herself she would be most likely freaking out at things like these. But then again it is rather rare in Diya's family for such a situation to arise. After all her family is all about rules and traditions and all such, so there was no chance that they would see any of their family members in such a situation. They were rather protective of her. Shaking her thoughts about her family and their extensive level of over protectiveness over her, she looked at the little kid who has been in her own world all this time they were talking. And just as the thing passed her head the little girl spoke up asking if she could get married to which Diya all but chuckled fondly. She remembered her own childhood days when she often asked the same question to her mother whenever they attended the wedding of their extended family. And each time her mother laughed at her and said 'you won't be this excited when I actually want to see you in Shaadi Ka joda' while she could not understand it back then, Diya came to know what her mother said now. Looking at her empty cup of ice cream Diya shook her head and turning to Angie she said "I should get going. Got some work to do."She then looked at the little girl and spoke 'hey Olive, next time you come to Honeydukes remember me, will you?" and smiled fondly at the younger girl. The woman insisted that she should probably get going and Angie understood perfectly. She had work to do, Diya added and the blonde woman nodded. “Of course, I hope we didn’t keep you too long.” she said, standing up and taking inventory of her possessions, including her large, ‘mummy bag’ that was large enough to hold not only all of her stuff, but also all of Olive’s for an all day outing. “It was really great to see you and to catch up. We should do it again.” Angie smiled to her former classmate. And she meant it. Angie couldn't believe what a different position she was standing in now, her former self, the one that Diya had attending Hogwarts with, never would have ever pictured herself toting a toddler and a ‘mummy bag’ down Diagon Alley with ice cream and talking to people who hadn’t been Slytherin’s. How naive she had been. And at the time, she had thought herself so mature and realistic. People changed, that was for sure, and she liked that change that she had gone through. She was thankful to Olive and to Aerick for giving Olive to her, even in such circumstances. “Olive, come say goodbye, darling.” Angie called. Her little princess came back over and listened as the woman said to remember her the next time she was in Honeydukes. “Okay!” Olive exclaimed, the mere thought of Honeydukes putting a smile on her face. Angie took her daughter's hand and then began to continue down the alley after waving to the woman again, letting her get back to work as they continued their errands.
