boggart:
Deception. He fears people/the idea of someone putting on a false persona for selfish/evil reasons. He’d rather anyone be up front with him, he doesn’t judge people, at least, not openly.
overall personality:
Riley is very perceptive. He notices and picks up on subtle cues that humans give off that most people might not notice: the twitch of a nose, wiggling their fingers, tapping their foot in class, etc. He picks up on them, not because he has any sort of gift for it, but simply because he has been slowly training himself to watch for them. He read books about humans and non-verbal communication and he loves the concepts so much that he (sometimes even unknowingly to himself) uses the people he talks to as research subjects.
Riley has a few underlying blood-purist qualities. He grew up pureblood and his family puts a lot of stress of keeping the bloodline pure. He doesn’t see it in himself, but it’s there. He’s been trained to see purebloods as more worthy people. And while he doesn’t want the death of muggle borns, he does think maybe there should be more separation. But again, this is all mostly sub-conscious (at least as of now).
Riley is very interested in people and is a very social, outgoing, extraverted guy. He likes talking with people and being around people. He’s very nice and polite, at least on the surface. He keeps a notebook in which he writes down observations every now and then. While he is on neither side, Riley could very easily be swayed to either. He sees the modern view that muggle borns are worthy of magical teaching and wouldn’t be rude to one or anything, but he does prefer the company of purebloods, again, at least deep down.

history:
Riley was born in the middle of Winter 2007 as the 2nd child of Amilda and Jeremy Fudge, Jeremy was the grandson of Cornelius Fudge, ex- Minister for Magic. Riley grew up in a very proper household where Manners were important and Values were everything. He, his older brother and his young sister often heard their parents talk about how they could trace their family tree back to its origin and they expected their children to put the same amount of care into choosing an eventual mate that they did, however, they were an arranged marriage, so their parents picked each other for them.
Riley began to find the human brain interesting very young. He noticed one day around the age of 6 that his mother completed the same routine every single day and it fascinated him. He asked her why she always did everything in the same order and at the same time each day and she responded that she behaved in the same way so that she wouldn’t forget anything. How interesting! Riley began to wonder what other things people did and why they did such things. He’d watch his sister play with dolls and listen to the conversations that she made them have and he noticed the dolls conversations were like conversations that she overheard either from adults in their lives. Again, interesting.
His first sign of magic came when he was 7 years old, his mother asked him to pick up a toy that he left on the floor of the family room, but he was too invested in his game of chess with his brother to want to go and pick up it. His mother asked him again and he found himself wanting nothing more than for the toy to walk itself into the toy chest. When he looked over at it, he saw it float into the chest nearby, his mother, who had also seen the accidental use of magic, was thrilled and kissed her son, which ended up interrupting his game even more.
Riley was accepted into Hogwarts School at the age of 11 and was sorted into Ravenclaw house. His older brother had also been sorted into Ravenclaw house 3 years earlier, but both of their parents had been Slytherin and Riley knew they both kind of expected their children to be Slytherin too. Oh well, at least it wasn’t Gryffindor, was their thought. Riley spent a lot of time in the library, especially in his early years. He had friends and spent time with them often, but he loved books, he loved reading and a whole new world of books was opened to him when she began to wonder how magic affected people’s brains and way of life.
Riley was a good student, even if he took more interest in his extra-curricular readings. He was good at magic and good at theory. He preferred classes that were research based and normally enjoyed writing essays and papers. He wasn't ever top of the year, but he was probably in the top 20 percent. He got all E's and O's on his OWL's and was in his 6th year trying to focus on subjects that genuinely interested him. Potions was one he was good at, as well as Defense against the dark arts, and Divination, though he knew he was good at divination not because he believed in his ability of sight, but because he was perceptive enough to be able to make predictions based on how the people around him were behaving.
As a friendly and extroverted person, Riley made himself quite a few friends from all of the 4 houses and was excited when he found out that two additional schools would be joining them for his 6th year. He was a little bummed that he wasn't allowed to submit his name for the tournament, but he got over it and focused his attention on studying the new members of his community. Students from all three schools acted so differently and there were subtle and obvious differences between them that he found fascinating.
Riley witnessed the attacks and the kidnapping that occurred last year at Hogwarts School. Some of his friends had been the victims of this kidnapping and weren’t the same sense, though of course they wouldn’t want to talk about why. Riley wasn’t clueless, he knew it had something to do with blood-status, and he, as a pureblood, wanted to know. He hadn’t been a part of the kidnappings, and he was mostly sure he got off lucky. Before the kidnappings, s couple muggle borns were attacked at the school, and one was killed during the kidnappings, which Riley was actively against and he mourned their live with the rest of the school, but his parents expressed that least it wasn’t a pureblood or someone of status who was killed. The attack at Kings Cross station came of a surprise to him, just as it had to everyone else. He was at home with his family in London during the attacks so he was safe, and as far as he knew no members of his family had been involved, but how was he to know for sure? His brother moved out once he graduated and Riley had only seen him at Christmas since. He had no idea what the man was getting up to.
