-early may-
Addilyn was in The Forbidden Forest. She often found herself there, at least just teetering along the edge, not going inside. This afternoon, she had wandered a little further in than she had meant to, following a sound. Addilyn was too curious for her own good, or so people said. She thought it was a good thing to be curious, there were so many things that she had learned because of it. She wasn't willing to give up new discoveries because curiosity could be dangerous at times. No, Add would rather risk her life than ignore something interesting.
The sound was a sort of chirping, like a bird but not like any bird she had ever heard before. It sounded like it was in distress, but it kept getting farther away the closer she thought she was getting. She didn't realize how deep into the forest she was even now, or mind so focused on finding the source of that sound.
@adrian (You can say he saw her go in and followed or he's there for some other reason xD)

too good to be real ✶ @addilyn ✶ post here !! It was a rather dim day in his opinion, while the sun shone brightly outside, Adrian could not help but feel a bit boring. He sighed for what seemed to be a hundredth time and looked at his potions book as he tried to read again. Shaking his head, he decided that he needed an escape from his studying, and it would not do him good to be stuck on the same age for several hours. As that was not something which was acceptable in his eyes, he set out of the common room in hopes to run into someone and have a friendly chat. He definitely could use some casual talk and he knew that such a talk was not often found in his house. But the more he walked through the corridors, the more he felt that everyone was busy with their exams. Sighing to himself he decided to get out of the castle itself, and take a walk along the grounds.
As Adrian reached the grounds, his eyes fell upon a familiar blonde haired girl who was walking into the forbidden forest and from the looks of it, she was alone. And that was all Adrian needed, and he found himself waking in her direction. As Addilyn walked further into the forest, he knew that there was no turning back. And the moment he stepped foot in the forest, he started regretting it, for he knew the dangers that were perched in its' very branches. But he was also a friend to the blonde and he would not leave her. With his long strides, he was able to catch up with her and in a voice just above a whisper, he spoke up "Addi... what are you up to now?" clearly not able to understand her reason to step into the forest. But then again she was one of the type to just go on an adventure.

Addilyn jumped, startled, when she heard a whisper. She didn't turn to look at him though, she just reached her hand back and grabbed his arm tightly. "Shush," she said. "Do you hear that?" She asked, her voice low as well. The chirping was still there, but still far away. It was like it was always ten feet ahead of her.
It took her a moment to actually realize who she was holding on to, still she didn't have to turn around to know it was Adrian. She tried to ignore her cheeks growing warm at the fact that she was clutching his arm so tightly, but she didn't let go either. This was a mystery, an adventure, and if Adrian was the one who accompanied her then that was that. Her tight hold on his arm would just show how much adrenaline was rushing through her about all this. It was exciting, right?

too good to be real ✶ @addilyn ✶ Adrian had to stop himself from smirking at the reaction he got from Addi when she heard his voice. But it hurt him that she didn't even look back and acknowledge him, that's what friends usually do right? When they see each other, they at least turn around to give a smile or perhaps a gesture. And Addi did neither, which caused him to wonder what's more important for her at that moment that she didn't bother with it. And then he felt her hand on his arm and she was clutching on to him, which made him smile goofily, not that he would do it when she was looking at him. As she spoke up, he promptly decided to do what she said and strained his ears to listen to whatever she wanted him to. But what he could not understand was, what sound does she want him to hear. They were standing in the middle of a forest and for all he knows he was hearing a lot of noises from around him, the insects to birds chirping and hell he could even hear the sound of the wind as it tears through the trees. And thus he spoke in a whisper, "hear what?"
Not that he would ever admit it, he was liking the fact that she still held onto his arm and some how he felt happy. But wait, why was he happy? Ahh right, because Addi was safe with him, right?! After all he would look out for her, and he knew that this was going to turn into an adventure for sure. And to be honest, he was looking forward to it, especially if it was with this blonde.

'Hear what?' he said, and for a brief second Addilyn felt annoyed. How did he not notice it!? But, then she realized that there were about one thousand other sounds in that forest. How could Adrian possibly single out the one she was talking about. She still didn't turn around, afraid that if she did she would lose the sound. Instead, she just tugged on his arm a little, her hand sliding down to hold his wrist rather than his forearm. "It's chirp... but it sound... metallic almost," she said softly, slowly moving forward, pulling him along with her. Her heart was beating a million miles a minute, she was sure that he would be able to hear that. "But every time I think I'm close it moves deeper in," she didn't consider the fact that maybe, just maybe, this was a trap and she was letting some monster lead her deeper into the forest... hopefully Adrian was more level headed then she was in that moment.

too good to be real ✶ @addilyn ✶ Adrian was trying hard to find out what had caught Addi's interest and to be honest, in this wilderness he was not sure what it was. May be a butterfly or may be a bird, because those seemed to be the most tamest things he could think of. The forest for all it's worth was called as Forbidden forest and till date none knew exactly what were the creatures that roamed in the dark. But then again she might not be following such things, surely she would know it right?! As her hand caught hold of his wrist, he smiled a little and simply followed her tug as she mentioned what she wanted him to hear. He tried to find a sound which matched her description, which itself was very vague not that he was going to say it. But as he walked behind her, he began to locate what she was suggesting. Just when he was about to complain that he could not hear it, he heard it. It was coming from afar. And she was right, the sound was rather faint and he could not hear it clearly even as they walked inside. As he looked behind, he could no longer see the castle nor the grounds and he sure as hell does not remember the way they cam inside. He just followed her in and did not even bother to look around his surroundings, and now he was not sure how they would get out."Don't you think that we have gotten a little deep into the forest" Adrian whispered to her a little cautiously.

She continued to pull him by his wrist, her hold on him maybe a little tighter than she meant to. Then, after a moment, he whispered about how they had gotten deep into the forest. She found her feet stopping, her grip tightening on his wrist as she turned to face him. Her brow furrowed, "I... you're right," she wanted to argue, but looking at his face just reminded her that he was often the voice of reason when she couldn't be. She sighed, her hand moving from his wrist to her hand instead and she gave it a tight squeeze, "now we just need to find our way back. Don't want to walk into a trap," she said, releasing his hand for a moment.
She looked around and then her brow furrowed again, "I don't think I know which way it is. Crap," she said, her brow furrowing in annoyance as she turned back to Adrian, "do you, Adrian?"
