The mood today was sad, but for Seph it was more than sad. She was anxious and a little nervous to board the train today to head home. There had been a tragedy, both the Durmstrang Ship and the Beauxbatons Carriage had exploded leaving many of the students and professors from the school dead. It was tragic and Seph was thinking about that but she was also thinking about the letter she had received. It had been a hard week but it had been full of promise and worry when she received Quinn's letter, requesting that they meet on the train to talk just the day before. She'd been worried. What would she say? Would she tell her that the kiss had been a mistake and that she had been caught up in the moment? Would she say that she only wanted to be friends? Or would she say the things that Seph was afraid to hope for? That she wanted to be with her, be her girlfriend? She wasn't sure, but she was determined to find Quinn and talk to her. She was going to do it anyway whether she had sent the letter or not. She would tell her how she felt.
Just the thought had her heart beating wild in her chest. But she needed to do this. So when the time came to board the train, she still felt a bit nervous about it. She boarded the train and, because she was sharing a compartment with her siblings, she placed her things away and chatted with them a bit. Once the train started moving, however, she excused herself from them to go on her mission. It would have been hard to let her know exactly where she would be, all of the compartments were first come first serve so she couldn't block off one for certain. That left Seph with having to walk up and down the train to find her. It took a little while too. The compartment she was in was further away from the one she shared with her siblings than she expected. When she did get a glimpse of her, the blood rushing in her ears got so much louder. This was Quinn, this was her best friend. This was the girl she had been crushing on for a while now. Nothing was different right? Even still she knew that wasn't quite right, because this could change everything. She took a deep breath before she opened the door to the compartment. "Hey Quinn. I got your letter," she gave a soft smile before she closed the compartment door behind her and took a seat.
