Susan could scarcely believe it; she had just graduated from Hogwarts, and had accepted a position with the Ministry of Magic. Not to mention she had a new boyfriend, the man she was supposed to be with from the start, and her best friend was coming to stay with her. Of course, Andy had to move up her stay to the day they got back due to unfortunate circumstances, but Susan didn't mind. She would do anything for Andy, and she needed Wills' help especially before they left the next day. Her eldest brother had made his triumphant return to the Wizarding World after virtually disappearing to fulfill his royal duties. He still had all the best connections though, and that included Muggle interior decorators who could get Andy's room ready on a deadline. Andy was off with her Gryffindor roommates, celebrating with a butterbeer - or perhaps was it firewhiskey? - so Susan was with her brothers. She was glad for the moment alone; she wanted Andy to feel completely at home at the Windsor apartments, and her brothers would be cruicial in assistance. "Boys, come closer," she instructed, beckoning them to get closer. "Andy is...going through a rough time, so she's going to start her stay with us a bit earlier than expected, and I'm going to need your help with this. Alright?" she asked, looking at both of them pointedly. @will @edmund

Edmund didn't really like official functions. Even though graduation wasn't as boring as so many of the royal situations, he still wasn't a particular fan. They took so much time to do so little, and in light of what happened a few days ago it seemed unimportant. Just like last year. He wouldn't say that though. He knew how excited his sister was to graduate, so Edmund forced on a smile and told himself to grin and bear it. It was only a few hours and then he could find some way to relax before going home for the summer vacation tomorrow.
He was with his sister and Will when Susan asked them to come closer. Resisting the temptation to roll his eyes, he moved closer to her, listening as she explained that her friend was having a hard time and would be coming sooner than expected. What, was she worried that they were going to be insensitive or something? Quite honestly, Ed was planning on leaving the girl alone unless they ran into one another and it would be rude to ignore her. "What do you need?" he asked, ignoring the pointed look she gave them both. That would only annoy him.

His baby sister Susan was graduating. He wasn't sure how he felt about that, in all honesty. She was so young to him, though she would smack him upside the head if he said that out loud. Actually, he was sure that had happened. She was a lady, but she was still a sister. He had come to the graduation, of course. He thought about saying something to Jamie but her family was just so big and he wanted to remain close to his mother around all these magical people, so he didn't go to her. He watched her graduate, though, which reminded him again how young she was, too. It wasn't really fair to think of Susan as his baby sister when he didn't think of Jamie Greyback as a baby. That put things about Susan growing up into perspective a little bit.
Susan made her way to Lucy, Edmund, their mother and Will and beckoned the boys forward. Will stepped up, a grin on his face. Of course she was getting down to business right away. At her words about Andy Wills brows furrowed and he nodded, but Ed asked what she needed which seemed the right question. "Yeah, whatever you and Andromeda need, Su," he agreed with a nod.

Susan nodded, glad that her siblings were good enough to readily agree to help her. She reached into her purse and pulled out a folded piece of paper. Unfolding it, she used Edmund’s back to smooth it out so she could hold it in front of the trio. It was a perfect sketch of the room Susan had designed for Andy, right down to the very last detail. She had wanted to oversee everything herself to make sure it was perfect, but it was now out of her hands. “Right. Andy’s coming to stay earlier than expected, so I have a few things Will I need you to take care of at home. The furniture and all their accessories have been ordered, but I need you to check in with the housekeeper to ensure the room itself is ready for our arrival in two days. I know it’s a lot to do but I have faith in them and in you.”
Susan hesitated at the next part; she had come up with another idea while Andy had been speaking with her, but she didn’t quite know how to bring it up. “Also...Will, I’m going to need you to flirt with her,” she finally said, sticking her chin out resolutely. “Don’t like...go overboard, but she’s feeling really low right now, she needs a good looking older man to make her feel pretty and giggly,” she instructed, then turned to Ed. “You can flirt with her too I guess, or just...I don’t know, engage her in conversation,” she told him, shrugging a little. She knew it was a bit much to ask, but they were her brothers. They’d entertain her, right?

Will echoed Edmund, which he didn't mind. In his head that only proved the validity of his question, though he was a little surprised he had to ask it at all. If Susan wanted them to do something specific for her friend, why didn't she just come out and say it? Still, today was her day, so her mind was probably going in all sorts of directions. He'd give her some slack before getting annoyed. At least, before getting outwardly annoyed. Big groups of people and log processions weren't really his thing, but he wasn't here for himself.
Susan's first request was for Will, which was just fine for Edmund. It was about preparing the room for Andy and he probably wouldn't have done a good job at that anyway, besides the fact that he wasn't quite free to go home yet for the holidays. Much better to have Will do that. She kept on looking at Will, though she seemed a little hesitant now as she asked him to ... flirt with her? Edmund bit his tongue before he could laugh out loud. He knew Susan wouldn't appreciate that and Will would probably knock him upside the head if he laughed at the request. It was just such a ... Susan thing to do, going to romance for everything. Not that flirting meant romance, but it was along the same line. When she turned to Ed, telling him he could flirt with her too, his eyebrows rose and he was sure his expression looked sarcastic. Him? Flirt with someone? He didn't really feel like he flirted with people he liked, much less people he didn't know or care about. She amended her suggestion to him engaging Andy in conversation and he nodded. "I can do that." It might have sounded like he was agreeing to both suggestions, but he wasn't. He had no intention of not behaving like himself, but talking to her? He could do that. "Anything else?" A part of him really hoped the answer to that question would be no.

Okay so he was supposed to get her room ready and flirt with her? That was simple enough. At the thought of Edmund flirting with Andy Will had to aggressively resist not laughing, so he kind of made a funny face with his mouth shut tightly. Then Edmund agreed to making conversation with her, and asked what else Susan needed. Will chimed in for his part, "I can do all of that, Su. Two days is a piece of cake, and I've got the flirting thing down, don't worry," as if to make his point about him having it taken care of, he put an arm around his brothers shoulder and gave him a small squeeze of encouragement. "I'm sure we'll make a good team. What's Lucy's job, then?" he asked, looking over his shoulder to try and spot his little sister. She was probably off with their mother. @susanvictoria @edmund (just wanted to see the cute pic again hhaa)

Susan chuckled at Ed’s comment on anything else for him to do. “Nothing specific Ed don’t worry. Just...make her feel welcome,” she told him reassuringly. Ed was better off when left to his own devices, but she wouldn’t have him being rude to her best friend while she was staying with them. She turned to face Will. “Lucy’s job is to just simply be her happy and bubbly self of course. She already loves Andy, so I’m sure she’ll be fine,” Susan explained. The youngest of the four of them possessed an exceptionally kind heart and an extraordinary capability to love; she needed no instructions on that. “I mean tone it down Will she DID just break up with the boy she thought she was going to marry,” Susan warned him, rolling her eyes. Susan glanced over at Andy and then back to her brothers. “I’d better get back to her; Will thank you for getting her room together in advance. And both of you for being so understanding. Breakups are never easy,” she said a bit sadly. She and Will both had been through breakups relatively recently, so they were familiar with the feeling afterwards. With a wave, she turned on her heel and bounced back to Andy, eager to tell her friend that everything would be all set for her upon her arrival to the Windsor apartments in a few days. susan out @edmund , @will want to do one more postie each to wrap up?

Will said that he had the flirting under control and Ed exhaled, more relieved than he cared to admit. He didn't even mind when Will put his arms around his shoulders, just looked up and nodded at his older brother. That was a good way to show he was grateful, wasn't it? Ed wasn't actually sure if his brother would understand, but at least he wasn't trying to push him away or anything. This was better than they normally behaved around one another.
Ed nodded, relieved when Susan told him he just needed to help make the girl feel at home. That he could do, he was confident. He listened as Susan explained what Lucy was going to do and then told Will not to overdo it. He couldn't help but grin at that, just because he could.
Susan said she needed to get back to Andy and Edmund smiled as she kept talking, "Go ahead, Susan," he encouraged after she said that breakups weren't easy. He didn't want to think about that. Once she was gone, he turned to Will as an idea occurred to him. "Hey, so ... want to go for a walk or something before you have to leave?" The two weren't particularly close, but a part of Ed really wanted to talk to his brother, even though he didn't have anything to talk about.

Will nodded and grinned as Susan spoke, leaning over to kiss the top of her head right before she could get away. Ed was smiling, and Will turned to him, expecting him to go, too. But then his brother asked if he wanted to go for a walk, and Will grinned. He wrapped an arm around Ed's shoulders and started to lead him away, "I don't have anything planned," he explained. The two managed to walk together for quite a while before separating, and with very little threat on one anothers lives, so that was nice.
