The last time that Tamara had seen her sister, they had gotten into a fight, but what else was new for the two Finch girls. Since the moment, they were sorted into different houses; their relationship had gotten strained by the different paths they had taken. After the death of RJ, they had left the words unsaid and walked away from each other. Their life outside of Hogwarts was very much the same, left with barely talking and having civil conversations with one another. But there was no love there, at least, none that Tamara felt from her sister. Did Tamara still love Tia? Yes, and she always would; she cared deeply for her twin, but she didn’t feel like Tia felt the same way. Her silence was heartbreaking, she wanted her and her sister to be close like they once were, not distanced by time and energy. With her books in hand, brunette locks pulled back in a messy up-do. Tamara walked from her class to the library, she knew it was where Tia usually dwelled, but she needed a book for one of her potion papers. She’d have to suck it up and ignore the other girl if it came to it. Once she got the book, she’d leave and get ready for Quidditch practice.

[googlefont="Playfair Display"][googlefont="Alice"] Passing by the end of cold winter until the spring day comes again
Corrine had known since a long time that she would be taking up a career in healing. And that was why she had spent most of her time reading books on healing magic and often discusses them with her freinds wo have the same interests as her. And one among them was a year above her, Tia. The elder girl was someone who was also aiming to go into healing side, and thus Cor found herself talking to her. She had been reading a book last night and had got stuck at a page because she could not understand it at all. Cor decided to ask the elder girl for help the next day.
And that was how Corrine found herself near the library at that time. She had searched for Tia in the common room and when she did not find her there, she decided to check the library the next place which came to her mind. As Corrine entered the library, she looked around and was instantly met with the familiar brunette haired girl. She looked around and saw that the library was almost empty given that classes were in progress at that time and luckily for Cor the librarian was not present. Walking towards Tia, she spoke up in a low yet clear voice, "there you are Tia, I have been searching for you" And without even pausing for the girl to reply she continued on "I've got a doubt whilst reading last night, you need to help me understand that" her blue eyes shining with anticipation.

The library was filled with a few people here and there, and she was glad for that, it meant that she would be in and out. She glanced around to make sure her sister, Tia wasn’t there, because she was not ready for awkwardness between the two of them. She made her way through the stacks, and let her fingers travel along the books that were based on the ones that she needed; she just needed to find the book she needed. “Ah-ha,” she breathed as her finger touched the spine of the book that held the title that she needed, and as she went to grasp it to pull it out, a voice rang out from behind her. A voice that called her Tia, and quickly her attention snapped towards the person, “Sorry—you got the wrong sister,” she said with a small laugh. Being called her sister’s name was something she was used to, but it seemed to have diminished over the bit of time she had been there, from what she heard, her sister was the one that got confused for her because of Tamara’s Quidditch status.

When Tia or rather Tamara mentioned that she had got the wrong sister Corrine was a lot embarrassed. "Oops" she said out loud with a sheepish look on her face. She had known that the Finch sisters were identical and only today did she realize that they were very much difficult to tell apart when looking from afar. She wondered how people usually differentiated between them. "I'm so sorry, from behind you looked a lot like Tia so I assumed it was her" and it was fair enough to think that in Cor's opinion. After all Tamara was a quidditch player who suffice to say was more popular than Tia, because that was how Hogwarts worked.
And then she decided to befriend the other twin as well, because why not? And thus she extended her hand forward for a shake and said "hello I'm Corrine by the way". She had always assumed that Tia was the more academic out of the twins and she wondered what the other girl was doing in the library. But she did not want to be rude and decided not to ask it at all. Instead she looked at the book she has and asked "is that the book you were here to pick?" wondering what it was and may be she can give that book a try.

The young girl seemed embarrassed, and she didn’t blame her. A lot of people confused the twins for each other, had for a long time now. That was what happened when you were identical instead of fraternal; it was like looking in a mirror sometimes. While the girls were in different houses, thus, wore different colors, and other notable differences in their demeanor and appearance, from behind they were alike. Which is what the girl fell for, and she quickly smiled. “Tia is my twin, you’re fine…don’t be embarrassed,” she said with a small smile on her face; she didn’t want the girl to feel bad for the confusion. The younger girl introduced herself as Corrine, and she smiled nodding her head and shook the hand of the other woman. “It’s nice to meet you, Corrine, I’m Tamara,” she said feeling the need to introduce herself fully. “Is it safe to assume you are friends with my sister?” she questioned with a tilt of her head as she took in the younger girl. Then she noticed the girl take in the book she had pulled out of the shelf, asking if that was the book she was here to pick. She nodded her head, “Yeah, I have a potion essay I have to write…this book is the best to figure out where to start,” she said with a small laugh.

When the elder girl reassured that it was fine, Corrien felt a bit better. It was as not as though she was expecting the girl to lash out on her. But then again a part of Corrine, expected the girl to be angry at confusing her with her sister. That was how it usually was when two twins were sorted to two different classes or houses in their case, where one would be all sweet and nice and the other the opposite. Having known Tia for some time she knew that the elder girl was good and since it was the frst time she met the twin, Cor assumed her to be the typical mean twin like in the movies. But turns out she was wrong given the way Tamara was speaking to her. It caused Corrine to give a small nod at her reassurance. "You're a quidditch player for your house right?"she asked remembering the girl playing in one of the games.
When Tamara introduced herself, Cor gave a nod and said "nice to meet you too". Though she knew the elder girls' name beforehand, she decided to not mention it considering that Tamara had given her name at the very same time. When asked about Tia, she gave a nod and said "yeah, Tia is a good freind to me, she was amoong the first one in the upper years to talk to me" she admitted with a fond smile. She had always liked the elder ravenclaw and now she wondered if her twin would become a friend of hers or not. At Tamara's reply Corrine gave a small nod and said "oh potions essay? What is the essay about?" she asked with a wide and expectant smile. And then she quickly added "I really like potions you see, so I try to read a bit ahead of my own syllabus". She did not want the elder girl to think of her as someone who was imposing on her.

Tamara was watching the girl, not in a rude or annoyed way, but more in a way to see what she’d do next or rather, what she would say. She seemed to relax when the brunette told her that she was fine for confusing the two of them, nodding her head at the reassurance before she asked her question. She nodded her head, “Yup, you would be right,” she said with a smile on her face. It was nice to get recognized that she played for her team, even though she wasn’t the captain but a chaser, though that was as important she assumed. She nodded her head as Corrine revealed that she was indeed friends with Tia and that she was the first of the upper years to speak with the young woman. She almost laughed, there goes Tia being friends with everyone. Though Tamara was friends with a few younger, it seemed that Tia was the first to make this girls day. She nodded her head, “That’s nice of her,” she said truthfully, noticing the fondness in the girl’s smile. “Yeah, one of many to come,” she said with a small laugh, “Uh—properties of moonstones and their uses in potion making,” she said with a nod of her head. It was then that the girl revealed that she enjoyed potions, and even liked reading ahead in her syllabus, she laughed. “I’m not a potions fan, that’s more Tia’s domain than my own,” she said with another laugh.

Corrine smiled a little when she was correct at recognising the other girl as a quidditch player. While she had seen the girl play she however was not sure in which position she played. But then again Corrine had never understood the game and did not even bother to hide her confusion when talking about it. And thus she found herself asking ”which position do you play as? Pardon me for asking, but I do not understand the game well” And she hoped that the other girl would not take it in a bad way as that was the last thing Corrine wanted to convey.
When talking about Tia Corrine smiled and said ”yeah she was” . While she knew much about Tia, Cor felt it to be inappropriate to talk with Tamara about her especially when she did not know much about the girl in front of her and her relationship with her twin. And thus she decided to not talk about Tia. And when the girl mentioned the essay, Cor spoke up ”I’ve read about the moonstone properties before, in the potions club” she said with an excited smile. When the girl mentioned that potions was Tia’s domain, she gave a nod and said “yeah Tia would help me in that subject”. And with a doubtful look she asked ”are you going ot work on your potions essay here?’ Cor was just curious to know and she hoped that Tamara would not think of her as a clingy younger year girl.

The younger girl quickly asked what position she played, saying that she was one that didn’t understand the game well, “I’m a chaser. I’m one out of three people that controls the quaffle and attempt to get it through the big hoops to score points,” she said with a smile wanting to explain the position a bit more for the girl to understand. She laughed a bit awkwardly, rubbing the back of her neck, “Hope that makes sense.”The girl mentioned that she had read about the moonstone properties in potion club, a club that Tamara was unlikely to ever step foot in. Potions was not her favorite subject, and sometimes she hated even being in the classroom, it just never got through her brain. When the girl revealed that Tia helped her with potions, she nodded her head with a small smile on her face. Tia used to help her, in their first year, before they went separate ways and kind of lost their sisterhood over the years. “Yeah—probably,” she said with a smile, “Maybe you could help me. I’m not one for potions and since you said Tia helped you and that you read about the moonstone, maybe you could give me some tips to include in my essay,” she said with a smile before it slowly dropped. “Of course, if you want to…we’ve only just met and all.”
