Phillip Longbottom,
we met in the apothecary about a week ago, it's tia finch - from hogwarts. i know you said to OWL, so i'm doing that. though, i do have a particular favour to ask, if you don't mind. i've recently adopted an orphaned bowtruckle and if i am to remember correctly, you were accompanied by one when we met. i was wondering if i could bother you for some advice pertaining to the care and maintenance of the tree dweller. look forward to hearing from you, tia yvette finch. @phil

Tia Yvette Finch, That's a nice middle name. Do you prefer people use your full name when writing? My middle name is Carson, but you don't need to write it. My name is long enough as is, haha.
I'm glad you wrote! Especially about the bowtruckle friend of yours. I'd be glad to help. First things first, you need a tree for it's home. It doesn't have to be a big one, just any little potted tree will do, but it needs to bond with it. Some bowtruckles bond with their owners more, Newt Scamander explained that his bowtruckle considered him his tree. There's nothing wrong with that, really, but it is more healthy if they have an actual plant to go home too, especially when you need to go somewhere he can't come along. They also need socialization, whether with you or other bowtruckles - I wouldn't mind Richard and him having a play date of sorts every once in a while? Richard lives with my friend Andy most of the time, but she would be happy for him to have a friend.
Philip Longbottom @tia

Phillip Carson Longbottom,
i'm happy to hear back from you so promptly. thank you, but i don't believe i have much of a preference. my mother always addressed her letters as such, and i think i just thought it seemed more professional. i know, that sounds rather silly when i write it down. feel free to omit it entirely if you prefer. tia will suffice.
ah, she does seem to be having a slight difficulty with the potted tree i have at home. i think she appears to consider it my tree and not her own. perhaps, if you wouldn't mind, we could arrange a day to meet and she could pick out her own. i don't know any garden centres that would suffice. do you have any suggestions? and i'd love for Ash to meet Richard. she has seemed a bit forlorn since her arrival. i worry about her. tia yvette finch. @phil
