School was back in session which only meant one thing for Zita. Quidditch. Well, that and the fact that she would be graduating and this was her final year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, but Quidditch! She was the newly minted captain of the Hufflepuff Quidditch team, something she’d been hesitant about just the year before. After some serious thinking and taking her friend Jamie Greyback’s advice into consideration, she’d decided to take on the role as the head of the team. And while she still felt a little odd for taking it away from team members who were going to seriously pursue Quidditch after graduating, she felt like she would be able to lead her team to become Quidditch cup champions. That would be a way to go out. With that in mind, she’d gotten started planning practices for the team as a whole and for herself. The captain always had to work harder than their team members and she didn’t mind it because she was having fun. It was only the second week of school and she was on top of things. She’d asked her friend Winnie to practice with her, the both of them holding a passion for Quidditch. They’d taken turns being what they needed for one another. Winnie played Chaser to her Keeper when it was her turn for practice but right now she was playing the Chaser to her Beater. Winnie was a great Quidditch Player; Zita had no doubt that she’d get recruited for a team when she graduated. Just then, she was racing around the pitch, baiting Winnie to hit her as she pretended to head towards the goals to score. She felt the urge to look back come upon her, luckily enough too. As she looked over a shoulder, a bludger came flying her way, narrowly missing knocking her off of the broom. Whether that came from Winnie or just the bludger being rogue, she didn’t know but she turned in mid-air, the smirk on her face aimed at her friend. "Okay I think we can end here for today if you want,” she yelled out and gestured to the ground before dipping her broom and heading there herself. It had been a fantastic practice. She was still a good keeper and Winnie’s skills as a beater hadn’t faltered a bit through the summer.
